This is by no way a reflection on the lovely salesman, but I wanted to part exchange my car & the offer for my car was an insult. I had been offered £17k & £17.6k by other companies which I thought was low & they offered £13k! Absolutely disgraceful offer & would not recommend this Company.

Car sold was faulty, no rush to repair it and it eventually caused a crash. Awful service afterwards and cowardly management who shouldn’t be trusted.

DO NOT USE! Avoid at all costs! Sold a vehicle in 2022, issues the following year with a major bolt being left off my engine! Whilst pregnant and having my other child in the vehicle! Then booked again in 2024, to be lied to! Or in their words ‘a miscommunication’ saying they hadn’t completed an MOT and service to find they had and failed it! The worst customer service throughout whole process. Sell you a car and as soon as you’ve driven away don’t care or even try to assist. Joke of a company! Try to escalate issue but get nowhere with putting in complaints.

I had no option other than to trust mikhail as I was without transport and could not view the car.
A BIG Mistake !
I was sent a video of the car and it didn't mention the true condition of the paintwork. I still have video.
On receipt of the car I noticed some paint defects so they must have been bad as I'm in my sixties and the car was dirty.
I quickly sent some photo's of the paintwork so I could get the delivery driver guided away on his journey home.
Some days later I washed the car for my friend to see My friend pointed out some terrible paintwork which I could see myself after cleaning the car.
I called mikhail and he talked round in circles and never got anywhere rally.
He had me take the car to a sister garage for an assessment of the car paintwork.
Eventually after much getting nowhere he decided he would offer £60 towards the original photo of the marks on one door and the work had to be done at sister garage Stratstone BMW.
This car should never have been sent out especially after I paid nearly £19k for it !
Both front doors look like they have been flatted and not polished.
The rest of the paintwork most of which has been painted at some stage has huge dull patches and swirls in the paint and a dent near the fuel filler cover.
I stated by email I felt I needed to communicate with mikhail by email in future so I had a trail to follow up on if needed.
There has been no reply so I can only assume they have gone silent on me !
It is now going to cost me £500 to make the car as it should have left The Car Store !
This has been a terrible experience for me so please don't trust the sweet talker sales persons and spend your money elsewhere where you may not feel ripped off after spending nearly £19k.
If people keep spending money with them they will of course carry on as they are.
Next time if I do buy from a garage again everything will be done via emails not on the phone !
Eventually I was given £60 towards the cost of putting the car right But I could get it done at a paintshop of my choice! Laughable isn't it ?
They are part of the Pendragon company so I would check before purchasing from anyone affiliated with Pendragon as they communicated with The Car store through this !
Please beware folks and don't make the huge error I did !!
