I had a vehicle recalled over safety issues with the timing belt, water pump and incorrectly rated fuses. I took it to Evans Halshaw Ford, Hessle near Hull and when we got it back we found the engine was overheating and after a few days it started violently vibrating. We took it to our regular mechanic and he found several bolts holding the engine in place were loose, this could of caused (at best) engine failure or caused the engine to fall out altogether whilst driving (this could of been fatal). After calling Evans Halshaw and leaving messages we are still waiting 2 weeks later for a response from a manager or anyone for that matter. We are now left with a potentially unsafe vehicle as all the work carried out needs checking. Unfortunately Trustpilot will not allow photos or links to photos on the post, they are shocking.
PLEASE DO NOT TRUST YOUR FAMILYS SAFTEY TO THOSE COWBOYS.

Ford Hull - Shocking customer service and sell dangerous cars. Couldn’t care less the position they left us in with no car and then took ages to sort the refund. Every time I called no one was available to talk to… apparently. The dealer principle was supposed to call on a number of occasions and still hasn’t. Avoid at all cost. Cost me weeks of time and effort for nothing.

Went to test drive a Ford Focus, Sales man Ian made us feel very welcome. Eventually bought the car and again Ian made the process very smooth and quick. Very satisfied with the service and the car.

went to view a ford fiesta, salesman Mike didn't have the one we had seen online but found us one very similar and very suitable, he helped us all the way through and afterwards when we found a slight problem. Cannot recommend him highly enough.

Having a lot of experience with various Evans Halshaw services, I would definitely point at EH Ford Hull as the best one!! They have the most professional and helpful staff, with Andrea being a true star. We had some serious problems with our car but her great experience, knowledge and dedication has made a huge positive impact and we finally got the problem sorted out. We felt well informed through the whole process and together with the team of great mechanics, she helped us in finding the best solution. Definitely this will be our first choice service going forward despite we come from the north Leeds area and there is other Ford one much closer. Andrea truly deserves some recognition for all the hard work she does. There are others like Andy or Sam (naming few), who has been also very supportive. I wish all Evans Halshaw dealerships and services would work in the same standards and with such a great work ethics. It's such a change when you can trust your service. We also bought our car from that Ford Hull dealership two years ago and we had great experience of the sales team too (great used cars salesman Sally!). Once again GREAT THANKS and please stay this way!

I worked at Evans halshaw recently in the workshop. All The people I met and the working environment was excellent. Unfortunately I left after a week as I did not agree with their policies of workers having to try push the sale of parts and labour to get their bonuses. When a car comes in and the customer says its dangerous to drive due to the brakes, I was only allowed a visual inspection without removing wheels, otherwise it was going too cost the customer again for me too do any actual work, I was not allowed to strip and investigate, I was not allowed to plug diagnostics in to see even though the service light for abs system had been flashing, I refused to sign to say the car was safe but it still went back too the customer. This is very common practice, I was over a litre short on oil but they refused to open another 5ltre drum so someone just added any old oil. It took 45 minutes to replace a 20amp fuse which ford did not have any I stock.(absolute joke) I asked for copper slip and they didn't know what it was which was just unbelievable as a quilified mechanic I couldn't believe what I witnessed there. People who have never had any experience working with cars just left unsupervised to try work on customers cars. Know knowing how they operate in main dealers compared to a privately owned garage, I will always do my upmost to make sure people who I care about always use their local garages, honest and trust worthy garages who deal with customers face to face and ensure work is carried out to a professional standard. Once again, everyone I met there at Ford Evans halshaw where great people but the way the company works is all about the money and bonuses with very little thought and attention paid too the the customers/cars need. I cannot begin to explain how worried it makes me that people actually think its best to go too a main dealer for servicing and repairs. I left like many others have through embarrassment to say I work there and I refusal to lower my, morals and skills to be at their level. Absolutely shocking.
