Nice and straightforward as one would hope for a first service on a year-old car.

I don’t know how there is any good reviews this company are scammers. I bought a car faulty from day 1 never out of repair shop was costly and after 9 months they took the car back as they couldn’t fix it. I had traded a car in and didn’t get it back or any payment for it. I had ignored calls and messages and told lies all through the 9 months it was a living nightmare. Don’t buy as the reviews are from people who were lucky enough not to buy a faulty car.

I regret to write this review but my experience with this garage and the warranty company has been poor from start to finish.
I initially went to buy the car in early September and agreed to pick up the car a week later (14th of September). Before my visit I was sorting insurance out and realised the MOT hadn’t been done on the car that I was due to pick up. I emailed the company informing them of this but no reply. Went to pick the car up and assumed it had been completed while checking over documents I did a check and realised the MOT hadn’t been done/to his credit the dealer apologised for this and the MOT had to be done on the day I was there to pick it up. This poor communication should have been a slight warning bell.
Roll on early December and my car completely shuts off and engine goes into limp mode. The largest flaw with this dealer is their communication. I had to make upwards of 10-15 calls to try and attempt to get the car to get looked at. As it was still under the 3 month warranty/and the premium warranty I had paid for as well.
Everytime I managed to get through a promise to call back/email the service department was made. However 5 days later nothing. I commute to Edinburgh everyday so this put strain on my journey and incurred a financial cost.
I eventually on the 6th day after my car broke down got in touch with the services department who said we can’t fix it you’ll need to find a Peugeot dealer. No offer to do this for me or help me out in any way shape or form. Eventually after multiple emails and 8 days after the car had broken down we got a phone back from the head of sales saying that they could pick up the car and take it to Peugeot kircaldy (again this was all booked through ourselves). Eventually the fault was found a new PCV valve required in the engine. Costing £500.
After all this the hope was because my car was still under the 3-month warranty/also I paid for the premium warranty on top of this (£600 extra for the year) that covers engine and electrical. We were informed by the warranty company ‘Pendragon’ that this was not covered under the warranty.
I was left to pay the bill, leading me to question/what is the point of the warranty in this case.
When I arrived to pick up the car and the MOT hadn’t been done I was nothing but patient and understanding. It is real shame that once the car is bought you have to move mountains for Evan halshaw to hold up their end of the bargain.
If you are considering buying please read the reviews, understand that if something does go wrong you will have to do most of the work to get it fixed.

With regret I write this review - having went through every other channel to try and rectify issues that have occurred.
I purchased my new car in the middle of October and having agreed with the salesman Thomas a few things that required attention before I collected the car. This was agreed and a date was agreed for collection.
In between purchase and collection I had multiple emails with the salesman asking him to confirm that the Wet Belt had been changed - I was repeatedly brushed off with an answer until I said that if this had not been done and they were not willing to do the work - I would be stepping away from the sale. They agreed to do this but the car would need to come back in for work as they couldn't do it straight away. I was happy with this.
On collection, I noticed straight away that the lock had not been fixed - this would be dealt with at a later date.
The following week my car was due to have the Welt Belt replaced, the salesman was going to drop a car to me at home and return my car to me by the end of the day.
What I was given - I have never seen before in my life. A car that smelled like a Cannabis farm and was absolutely disgusting. I had to take my five year old daughter to school in this and to be asked what the smell was by her was nothing short of embarrassing! There was cannabis all over the car along with empty juice tins. I have honestly never seen the likes.
I spoke to Amar (Business Manager) who has been absolutely no use - I am still waiting for a reply to my most recent email to him on the 19th November and when I finally thought I was getting somewhere with James (Used Car Sales Manager) He is again yet to reply to my most recent email on the 26th November.
I am now nearly two months on from purchasing my car and I am still awaiting the lock being fixed, I have had a courtesy car that was covered in cannabis and empty tins and Manager's who reply to a couple of emails that are convenient for them and then pretend like you don't exist!!
Absolutely WOULD NOT recommend this dealership. Good service until they have your money and then will do everything possible to avoid you again!

Very helpful, professional and informative. Thank you Kyle you got a great deal on our car. I would highly recommend Kyle if your looking to change your car.
I WOULD LIKE TO REDACT THE ABOVE REVIEW. The service and aftercare I have received due to my car not being checked in the workshop as I was advised it was, left me having to add the £20 fuel I was already charged for before I could drive back from Edinburgh to Glasgow. The wiper blades I was told had been replaced left my at significant risk as the rain was heavy and visibility poor , the tyre pressure light remained on when I was advised it will go out, the car just has to be driven as the 3 tyres had been replaced, I was assured the front break pads and disks were replaced and the 2alloy wheels were refurbished none of this was done! The car was picked up and taken back to the dealership to have the issues resolved when it was returned the issues were still not resolved. They did replace the 3 tyres!! And replaced the new wiper blades my husband had bought and replaced (Kyle was advised they had been replaced and the old ones returned with our purchase receipt) I have been repeatedly reassured I would be reimbursed for the fuel, also fuel used to drive the car back to Edinburgh and then returned to me in Glasgow as well as the wiper blades. This sorry saga continues now. It is the 21/01/26 and I am still waiting. Customer service provided to me has been a shambles. Very disappointed.
