Fidor card allows more payments by card than the other bank or EMI cards I have. I will miss this bank, it’s a pity no serious actor could buy it from BPCE.

After almost a year of use, an unexpected account is blocked. After several requests to clarify the problem, a statement about the case and the response within 3 months came up. There are no answers after the set deadline and have not returned the money. Can anyone suggest how I can recover my money?

I'll be honest, I thought (as many others) that the dark days of going from bank to bank were over thanks to this amazing bank : Fidor AG which is meant to offer banking facilities for cryptocurrency businesses. Unfortunately that was indeed too good to be true, after submitting my crypto account application over a month ago and numerous follow up emails as well as a personal reference from Kraken themselves, I am still awaiting a reply. I even tried calling without luck as no staff members are able to assist if I do not speak German. Oh well, I guess was worth a shot.

The best there is out there, if you need money Sunday night (like I did), through sepa transfer you have them!
This bank locked my account without any explanation while the balance was 0.00. No notifications, no explanations. I've sent 4 emails to them and still no response. Very poor experience!

Fidor (UK) bank is an absolute joke. Customer support seem more interested in creating fake accounts on their useless forum then talking to themselves than actually providing support for their customers. Any customer who asks a question is immediately bombarded by the said fake accounts with useless information, marketing or pure lies.
Deposits and withdrawals are either ultra slow or don't work at all, with many customers losing their funds completely.
An absolute shambles of a company - stay away from this useless "bank" - it's not safe. BEWARE!!!

Problem after problem.
I didn't want to leave a review before but felt this time things have gone too far! I sent a payment of 40 pounds to Transferwise to send to my wife and child in Azerbaijan and it said the money was sent but is now back in my account, I tried to re-send the money and it says I don't have enough balance. Problem after problem as I said, avoid this bank!

I received 6000 pounds from a buyer of bitcoin on localbitcoin.com,they close my account, they wouldn't give me any kind of information,and they refuse to give me my money. This is outrageous! I'm taking this to cort. Worst bank I had in my life!
very untransparent and even unprofessional.
we wanted to open an business account for our company. after long and exhaustive legitimations, all the formulars, openening an useraccount and loading up all the required formulars for our Kommanditgesellschaft, they just closed our useraccount and told us, that they would not be technically able to open an business account for us. Thats interesting, because we havent had any problems with opening an business account in another bank. but the worst thing is, that they closed our useraccount without noticing us. So we had no chance to delete all our sensitive uploaded Data. This is probably against the german Data Protection Law. Very doubtful behavior. They shouldnt be a bank. We consider, admitting this to the german BAFIN.
Check out the latest debacle on this so called bank's community pages. Some poor customer was seeing unauthorised transactions taking place from his account on Friday and is unable to do anything about it until Tuesday, because fidor so called bank don't work weekends or bank holidays, not even to combat fraud.
Especially if you do not live in Germany you can open an account over there.Not every bank in Germany will accept you, but Fidor does.The Fidor banking app however cannot be downloaded outside Germany by telephone on android or iOS. Pitty.
Alternative: N26 and Vivid !
Don’t trust this bank.
They will close your account without reason and keep the money in the account.
Ignore emails and completely useless on the phones saying they can’t tell you anything.
Worst bank ever
My account application for a business account has now been pending for over 20 days. I have called customer services 5 times. When I finally (sometimes) get through after ~30 minutes I am told the opening will take 2 days and that the call center operative has logged a ticket. Upon calling back I am then told by a new operative that no ticket is in the system.
I have been consistantly lied to and given NO feedback which is threatening to result in costs for me.
I would not open a business account again at Fidor.
This is my second or third feedback on trustpilot, other ones was negative and I was disgusted with the service other companies provided for me....
This is my first positive feedback here and this gonna be Fidor Bank Uk, I'm the customer since 2016 and never had any issues with them, all inquiries been answered promptly by customer service (usually in 1-2 working days) or community forum.
If you are crypto enthusiast, this is the best option for you now as other banks tries to avoid it as it's plague...
There are only one minus I can name - incoming transfers from UK bank accounts are not instant, usually takes 1-2 hours, but I believe the team gonna sort this out too...
Overall I'm glad I found this bank and be proud to be part of this!
The worst "customer service" I have ever experienced!
It simply does not exist, luckily I did not open the account yet. I had a few questions in respect to the account types and have sent 2 emails ( a few days apart).
That might sound like science fiction but it has been two weeks since my first email inquiry (10 days since the second email) and there is still no feedback from Fidor "custom service".... UNBELIEVALBLE!!!
I do not consider the automatically generated email receipt (saying we have received your inquiry Nr. XYZ and will process it…) as an actual reply from the customer service.
Can any of the users actually confirm that this bank really exists?
For now the impression is that except from the fidor.de website there is nothing/no one else behind it...
Fidor did a very good job securing my transaction at the highest level.Although it took nearly 5 days before my deposit reached Kraken, I am satisfied with it since it was my first transaction. Maybe it will lessen the waiting days on my next transfer.
