I recently booked a family holiday with…

I recently booked a family holiday with Jon and the team. Whilst offering exactly what my itinerary required they were patient and responsive to a couple of changes and offered a package price at a reasonable price point. There whole customer service experience has been excellent. My family are now looking forward to an Orlando and Gulf coast 2022 holiday.

I contacted Florida4less initially to…make enquiries !

I contacted Florida4less initially to make a few enquiries. I was fortunate to make contact with John who was extremely informative and helpful. I knew exactly what i wanted for a family holiday in Florida in 2023. John was not only helpful but listened to all that i asked for. With his guidance i ended up booking the holiday there and then although didn't have all my information to hand as i had not expected to do so at that point . Not a problem, a few conversations later and our dream 'once in a lifetime' family holiday for 9 was booked and confirmed . Also at a great price ! would thoroughly recommend this company after comparing prices with a couple of similar companies.

Spoke to Graham initially for a price

Spoke to Graham initially for a price. Rang back following day Graham was not in the office spoke to Jon who was excellent bringing up the quote and booking the holiday giving some great advice regarding park booking and child seats etc.
The following day I emailed Jon with a quick question instead of replying he rang me straight back. So far excellent service

Such an easy site to book through

Such an easy site to book through. Also had a follow up phone call from a question I asked before booking. Answered any and all questions I had and I felt extremely happy and confident to book immediately after the call. Our holiday is some time off yet but so far Florida4Less has been flawless.

Top class travel advisor

Second holiday booked with Florida4less. Always extremely helpful, friendly and very knowledgeable about what they are selling. Always call you back when they say they will. Great customer service. Prices are extremely reasonable and great value for money.

Absolutely brilliant customer service…

Absolutely brilliant customer service from Graham who has just rearranged our holiday from this year to next year, kept me up to date with the whole process, and answered the many questions I had.
Made the whole situation stress free, could not recommend enough.

Superb customer service!

Excellent customer service! We recently booked a Florida holiday for 2022. We are a party of 13 and were not exactly sure what we wanted. Our advisor, Martin, provided us with options for villas and hotels at competitive prices. We emailed repeatedly with lots of queries and he always called back promptly, answering all our questions.
We also booked our Disney tickets with Florida4Less and he took the time to phone and go through the process of allocating tickets on the Disney website. There were a few issues because a large group but he was very patient; phoning Disney to resolve the problem. I can’t thank him enough.
I feel confident the accommodation and Florida holiday will be wonderful. I hope so.
I would highly recommend this company.

I found the Florida4less web site very…

I found the Florida4less web site very user friendly and informative. On the three occasions that I spoke with them by phone they were friendly the people were knowledgable and professional resulting in an order placed for flights and a Villa for a family holiday. Everything discussed was confirmed by email within a couple of hours of booking including a copy of the important ATOL certification. From my experience so far I would have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone considering a holiday booking of this type

Sorry sorry service

I’ll have to be very careful how I word this as the company have a problem with the truth being told so we’ll keep it short and sweet and to what can be evidenced with emails and recorded phone calls.

Horrible and arrogant service from the team. Lockdown 1 kicked in and admission to the USA wasn’t possible. Called to cancel my booking and informed I could only have a percentage back. I was told (phone call and email evidence) that I had until 6pm to accept this percentage or I’d lose even more.

You get the idea. I informed them that I’d do a charge back and the guy laughed and wished me luck. I did the charge back and got all my money back in the end so I guess my luck was in…

… to quote a film… ‘you can’t handle the truth’

Won't listen, refuse to help

When booking this dream holiday back in Sept 2019, for my sons 3rd birthday in Sept 2021, I wished we had booked directly with an airline who would look after every aspect of the holiday.

Fast forward 18 months and Florida4Less (F4L) have come calling for the balance to be paid in full, despite not being able to assure us that the holiday will go ahead as planned.

I phoned through (I wish I could remember who I spoke to but they did state that they were a sales manager of sorts) and explained that when this holiday was booked 18 months ago, no one had heard of Covid-19 and now this booking is being directly affected by Covid-19. Obviously I understand that only the government can confirm if this holiday will go ahead and the decision does not sit with F4L. All I have asked for is for an extension to pay the full balance, to give us a little more time to monitor the situation and make a more informed decision. I am fully aware that we could amend the booking however when I explained how amending the booking is not an option the reply was "so you want us to pay the holiday for you?", if this is how managers talk to customers.....wow!

I went on to say how my in-laws had used F4L a number of times in the past and they would be able to see that on each and every occasion the balance has been paid in full and on time. Money is not an issue, the deadline is.

Also I fully understand that the T&C's at time of booking are the T&C's however I'm sure we can agree that the world has changed a lot in the last 18 months especially with an ongoing global pandemic. I was told the T&C's are what they are and nothing can be done.

When looking through past reviews it amused me to see the following reply from F4L to a negative review "...due to this, there have been a number of necessary changes to our stance on issuing refunds to customers...". Ah so changes can be made to the T&C's but only when it financially benefits F4L!!

From reading reviews and my own experience, I can only say that F4L seem like a great company when there are no issues at all (wouldn't anyone?). You book your holiday with them, they go on and book everything with whoever, no dramas and you go on your holiday. However as soon as there is an issue, like a global pandemic, they are unwilling to listen to the customers specific situation, negotiate and in the end HELP the customer despite the website stating "we constantly strive to improve service".

I assure you I will never be using F4L in the future. Unfortunately this pandemic has taught the public an awful lot about those companies with good customer services and those without. Sadly F4L falls into the latter.

UPDATE

So in the end myself and my family paid the outstanding balance and can now only hope that the holiday goes ahead.

Amazingly I've received an email from Trustpilot stating that F4L are querying the authenticity of this negative review. Don't worry guys I have sent them all the relevant information. I guess rather than tackling the issues here; your appalling customer service and false promises "we constantly strive to improve service", you would attempt to sweep the complaint under the carpet hoping I wouldn't follow this up?

Hi F4L, thank you for your reply, instead of hiding behind your T&C's why don't you "strive to improve service" (your words, not mine) and listen to your customers needs and look to help them.

With regards to amending our travel dates, yes thank you for you help there, I can't really complain with your service there. I wonder why? That's right because it is of financial benefit to yourselves! But again being told by an employee when changing our dates "well why don't you go in March, its cheaper then" is not the service or the way I expect to be spoken to....

Tour operators are obliged to pay airlines, accommodation suppliers, car-hire companies and attraction ticket providers for forward bookings in accordance with their contracts and we must therefore collect balance payments from customers when they are due.

The best around...

Martin has helped changed our booking 4/5 times during the pandemic. We have dealt with multiple companies and F4L were by far the best. They have been knowledgable and helpful throughout. Cannot recommend highly enough!
