We could not have asked for better mortgage advisors! Richard and Suzanne were both incredible from the very first day we made contact right the way through to completion!

My husband and I were first time buyers and for a long time we could not pluck the courage to step on to the property ladder.

On the 19th of October we viewed a house which we absolutely loved and was put in contact with Richard. Richard was extremely knowledgeable. He gave us the advice and confidence we needed.

In addition to our mortgage application we also applied for Help to Buy, which again Freedom Mortgage managed the full application for us (with other mortgage advisors we were told that we needed to complete the HTB application ourselves).

It was an absolute pleasure working with Freedom Mortgage. Every call and email was returned to within an hour or two. We were regularly updated on the process of our application without any prompting. The services they provide are all free of charge to the client.

There were a few hurdles in the application with the lender but Richard and Suzanne were both so efficient, they would immediately notify us of any changes and chased the lender when required.

On the 21st of January, exactly 3 months after viewing the property we completed (this would have been sooner if the lender had not delayed us).

Highly recommend Freedom Mortgage! They truly understand how stressful mortgage applications can be and provide outstanding support throughout.

Last week it was my birthday, Suzanne even went the extra mile and surprised me with a birthday message! They add that personal touch which is so hard to find these days.

I had to arrange a mortgage urgently during COVID times, and Richard & Suzanne were extremely helpful in getting the mortgage sorted. We had to speak with them for long hours to understand the mortgage and HTB process and they provided detailed information without any hesitation.

I also had to change the HTB information thrice during the process and Richard and Suzanne were super helpful in putting together the documentation and liaising with HTB agents.

All in all, arranging mortgage wouldn't have been possible without their help. They made it look easy.

Richard and Suzanne have helped me from start to finish. They have been extremely professional and made the experience, of buying a new house, so easy and smooth. They are extremely knowledgable in processes and really know what they are talking about. Additionally they found me a mortgage 0.3% better then the best I had found - so if you choose these guys you're saving in the long term :D

I had been dealing with a mortgage broker, getting hugely frustrated as I could never get through on the phone, and waited on average 3 days+ for a response - this was the recommended broker from the Housing Association as well. I was recommended Freedom by a friend, and can not believe I nearly paid out £1500 in fee's (£500 to the broker) for such an awful service! Richard and Suzanne have been absolutely fantastic, saving me £1500 on up front fee's, responding to my requests, calls or emails in general within 4 hours, and generally being lovely to deal with. Their expertise is second to none, having got a significantly better deal on the mortgage as well. Couldn't recommend them higher.

As a first time buyer I could not have asked for two more helpful people than Richard and Suzanne. They have gone above and beyond to be responsive and answer any questions I have. Overall fantastic experience.

We weren't sure what to expect from this process - we couldn't get clear instruction/presentation of options until we spoke with Richard and Suzanne. They were always available within minutes of when we needed support. Our case was not straightforward and they managed to progress our case tactfully while making us aware of all the contingencies in the process. It felt truly like they internalised our case and were along for the ride with us...because they were. While there are some parts of our first house buying experience we would have done differently, selecting Freedom Mortgages was among the best decisions we did make!

As a first time buyer, I was really fortunate to get such a great service. I did not know what to expect and I was afraid of potential delays.
They obtained a decision in principle from a lender within a day and from then, each step was clearly explained to me in simple terms by both Suzanne and Richard. I was actually impressed by their availability for questions. They have been very quick to respond, always with clear answers. Even after the mortgage got accepted, they were able to make adjustments to my mortgage.
They also took care of my application to the help to buy scheme which made it totally effortless for me – I literally had nothing to do but signing the application. They even caught some typo from other parties and were always on top of things to prevent any potential delay.
They take privacy seriously. They always asked me if it was fine sharing documents with other involved parties. They have a secured portal to upload documents which is much better than sending sensitive documents over unsecured email. I wish it was possible for documents to be shared both ways on the portal.
Thanks to them, financing my first property purchase was smooth and swift. Although I am sure it requires a lot of work and efforts to get to that quality of service, all the administrative part was made ridiculously easy for me. I am very satisfied with Freedom Mortgage & Protection Services and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Richard and Suzanne both helped me through the process of obtaining a mortgage for my flat.
