Fraudulent Company

This company offer £10 to run an app for a month but then give only £1. There is no way to claim rewards only use your point in phoney draws and win nothing.

STAY WELL CLEAR.

No real incentives, terrible customer service.

No real incentives, only prize draws. They don't honour 'double points' offers for completing surveys on a particular day, not even after promising to do so after an email to customer services.
They ignore questions sent to customer services they don't apparently want to answer. Strongly recommend you don't waste your time with their surveys until you start reading reviews confirming their business practices have dramatically improved.
Sad really, as I listen to a lot of radio and would otherwise be happy to fill in their radio listening surveys.

Liars and even maybe sellers of your personal data

An opinion panel suggested me to take part in GFK studies and receive £10 for a month per device connected. Instead of £10, I have received £1 voucher which cannot even be spend because it is not enough and I even suspect that they are selling my personal details somewhere else because from the time when I started participating in the study, I had even received a lot of attempts to log in to my accounts from various countries including countries in Asia and africa.

TOTAL SCAM, DON'T WORK FOR THEM.

I did 3 mystery shops with this company to start, trying them out and never got paid. Completely worthless, useless company. I wrote to them several times and nothing.

They removed the jobs from my "recent visits" area, so technically there is no record of me completing the jobs. Luckily I keep the assessment numbers, dates and times.

They said they paid on certain dates but I checked my account and they never paid me. I replied to them telling them that I didn't receive any payment and I haven't heard anything back from them. They are a total scam, I will let everyone know. Don't waste your time and money.

I have no clue what is going on with …

I have no clue what is going on with this marketing company. I've been with them for 4 months now and haven't gotten a single vouchers for being active on two devices. They have stopped replying to my emails and the last one i got from them stated that they were very sorry for the inconvenience caused and that id get the vouchers owed within 5 working days. That was more than a month ago.

I also use Mobilexpression (Another marketing company) and have gotten my vouchers each time

Avoid GFK at all costs! - Were great until Spring 2017

Been with GFK for about 2 years now. Up until March this year, they've been great. I'll be honest, I don't bother doing their surveys. The payment for doing surveys is very low, usually about £1 for a survey that takes a good 10-15 minutes......that's under minimum wage in the UK!

I also can't be bothered doing their TV surveys to be added to one of their prize draws either. I'm not spending time on something which 'may' pay out dividends. That's a bit like going to work for a boss who 'may' pay you at the end of the week.

However, GFK have a great program where you can download their 'snooping' software to your devices. I've downloaded it to my laptop and mobile phone. They get to track how I surf the web, and I get £5 per device every 3 months (so £10 every 3 months as they are tracking 2 devices)

It's only a small amount of money (I get it changed to Amazon vouchers) but its £10 every 3 months for doing NOTHING. The software does not slow down my laptop or smartphone. I'm not spending time doing surveys. I just do what I always do, and I get £10 every 3 months just so they can track what I'm doing online.

This was going great guns until this summer (2017). I received my last payment in March 2017. My next payment was due in June. I received no payment.

It's now October. I have emailed them so many times. I can't get any straight answer from them as to why I'm not getting paid, despite their software still being active on my laptop and smartphone.

Each time I contact them, I get told it is 'being sent to the relevant department' and then I get no response back.

They also make stupid, embarrassing mistakes, such as forwarding me an email they sent me in June to show they've actually paid me. The email also had a certain amount of indignation in it. I got the feeling the agent was feeling smug. He felt that he had 'got me' now he had proof that I was complaining for no reason when I had actually already been paid.

It was a satisfying moment when I emailed back drawing attention to the year of the email he had forwarded me - yes, it was an email from June 2016!

All I can think of is that GFK must have been taken over by another operator earlier this year. The original GFK were good and ethical. This new version is a joke. I've removed their software from my laptop and smartphone - I don't see why they should have the privilege of tracking my online activity for free.

I would recommend everyone do the same, as well as stop doing surveys. I never did surveys, but I can imagine if you have done surveys and have not been paid, it's actually doubly annoying as you have wasted your time. At least with me I had not wasted time - it was just software tracking my everyday internet usage.

A great company I've been with for over a year who pay you to track internet usage is Smart Panel - look them up. They have an invite only system, but if you contact them, perhaps they will put you onto a waiting list to be added on.

And if you like doing surveys, pineconeresearch is a reputable company - again it is invite only, but email them and hopefully you will get the chance to be added onto their database.

Avoid GFK at all costs! Happy money making :-)

GFK Mediaview - Don't bother lining their pockets.

GFK Mediaview collect information about TV Programmes that you watch and Radio stations that you listen to.
Even if you're lucky enough to win a gift card, they don't notify you about it.
They also told me that if I did surveys 3 days in a row I would get a £5 e-voucher. It never arrived and they do not answer emails.
Don't bother with them. Lot's of effort for no reward.

they change their portal and I suddenly …

they change their portal and I suddenly lose 5000 points I keep writing to them they keep saying they have fixed everything but I dot even get my daily and weekly points added on now. points prize winners have not been listed since june. when you ask for answers it takes days for an answer and then it is always the same prescripted answer that the problems have been fixed the weekly prizes are listed every 2 or 3 weeks instead of weekly and my name is listed as a winner approx. 6 times out of every 10, but then I get told it is someone else with the same name. It would be a best practice to not call …

It would be a best practice to not call an entity from your call center, and speak to them and explaining things twice, the second with "in-lamens" with a tone of superiority, use acronyms such as "flamingo" for "F," and expect a desired response.

Equally important is how unreasonable it is to suggest that they cannot leave a voice message, which is the standard practice in this organization, for someone to reach our Senior Director of Technology. The guys complete arrogance was distasteful and I will not be attempting to facilitate the exchange of this information from future GFK Research calls.

Whomever is the manager of FAISAL, please teach him some customer service skills.

Absolutely horrible company

Absolutely horrible company, one I implore you to steer clear of. Their market research is nothing but rubbish, the information they obtain is done so using paid survey sites, i.e. they are interviewing professional survey takers (people who are only in it for the financial reward) to provide them with date to deliver to the clients who engage their services. It has also been reported back to me, that many of these surveys fail to pay the reward offered - therefore, the takers are often rushing through the surveys and providing the answers that they think the survey wants to hear, in order to complete them as quickly as possible. If you are looking to obtain research, I encourage you to do so through alternative means than these daylight robbers.

AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!

Terrible website that requests you to download software with a promise of rewards, in reality all it does is take up a big chunk of memory space, has so many faults it seems bug dangerous and they get all the info they want while you get nothing

GFK Digital Trends

Well where do i start , When joining GFK Digital Trends i was told in text that i would get so £10 every 30 days if i kept this data mining software on my pc or if you wanted to install it on your tablet / smartphone you got also £10 i have had it on both my smartphone and pc for just under 2 months now and i have had zip off them, As an I.T. techie myself I have seen many inferior systems but this one takes the biscuit. To the short version of my rant , I would think twice of joining this time wasting / data wasting project.

Save yourself a lot of wasted time and effort and avoid this company.

Having been a member for many years and having completed surveys nearly everyday, I expected a little more loyalty from this site. The rewards aren't great and are a lot less than many other survey and opinion sites, but the sheer lack of concern for their members is what I find most surprising.

Each day you complete surveys you gain points that can be used to enter prizedraws. It's not a great reward system and ensures that most of the time they are getting what they want and you get nothing solid in return. I was surprised when the reminder emails stopped appearing, after a couple of days I emailed to ask what had happened and was informed that my contributions were no longer needed. That's it, no warning or explanation. They just decide and drop members instantly as they please. Now that in itself isn't too bad, but when you consider that when they do this, with no warning, all the points you've been saving up are lost. All the time and effort you spent has been completely wasted. When I emailed to ask about this, I was told that the points are gone, but if I'd used them to enter any prizedraws then they still count. I responded that when given no warning, it's very hard to know that you need to use up all your points and enter prizedraws. My opinion is that this site is a waste of time and doesn't offer any really worthwhile rewards or loyalty. Steer clear and try a few other sites instead.

Useless - the "Helpdesk" don't know the meaning of the word "Help"

I started a survey for GfK research and when the time came to complete the "final survey" I kept following the links I was sent but was just greeted with a page asking me to log in. I contacted the "Helpdesk" on two occasions with my problem, and both times I got a response (at least three days after I sent my query) saying :

"Thanks for bringing this to our attention and we're sorry for the inconvenience this might have caused you.

Our team is currently investigating this issue and will let you know as soon as we have an update.

Feel free to contact us, if you have other questions or concerns."

However, today I received an email from them saying

"You have recently joined out market research study.

Unfortunately you have not qualified for the rewards as you have not kept the apps active and/or completed our final survey.

We kindly advise you to uninstall the GfK App from all your devices."

Not only do they not bother to proof read their mass emails (it should read "our" not "out") they place the blame on me for not completing the last survey even though I have tried on several occasions.

Overall this whole experience was a complete waste of time. I would urge anyone considering doing any surveys through GfK to just not bother. There are a variety of reliable survey companies such as MySurvey, Valued Opinions, Justtheanswer etc who don't mess you around and don't waste your time. Go with them instead.

bad customer service

I started taking survey with them because they had nice reviews but after I took and completed surveys for 6 pound incentive they did not send my cupon code to me.when I contacted them they ask me to wait a week for the process and its been more than two weeks now and I had not received anything. I am not sure if I should keep completeing surveys with them because I had wasted my time and effort with no reward.

Excellent mystery shopping company

I am in my third year of mystery shopping with this company. Excellent selection of
jobs, reasonable rates of pay, sensible assignments that are usually straightforward.
Only ever get the very odd query, always by phone and always polite but friendly
with it. Have undertaken some interesting special assignments - very good indeed
at paying promptly, they never, ever try it on. Strongly recommend.

Too bad far from clear and honest

Consumer Panel (GfK NOP, UK) & GfK Mediaview
Not a good survey company. It patronises its members and just takes advantage of respondents’ time.
It may be an acceptable company if you get to it through other companies or survey routers but not for being their members. It does not pay just prize draws so you end up having completed too many surveys for free!

Also too bad, their yearly profile questionnaire requires you to give them the mobile number of people in your household!!! I will not!! They told me and I quote:

“If you do not wish to share this information with us, you can go back to the previous question and change your answer to 'None' meaning that you will then be able to continue to complete your questionnaire.”
And they patronise you by saying and I quote “If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to email us.”

Part of GFK I discovered is also http://uk.surveys.com/ a bit of a scam. After one year of emailing they never really replied and helped me to login let alone to check the surveys I completed. In my last email about the mobile number (and I quoted their reply above) I again pointed out their uk.surveys.com/ but they once again ignored it.

There not seems to be your profile in their Gfk typewriter kind of website and if you redeem a voucher you always have to write all of your details from scratch.

One can only think GFK on the overall is an unfair pretty dishonest company with their too long screening questions and their patronising ways to treat members and avoid reward panellists for their time.
