BEWARE.
I bought a laptop battery which proved to be the wrong one. I sent it back but they claimed not to have received it. Emails to and from went on for months to no avail.
AVOID!

The battery is dead. The company is a fraud.

I purchased a replacement laptop battery. Unfortunately it was faulty so requested a replacement under the warranty for which I had to pay £4.50. The replacemernt was also faulty, in fact I had strong grounds to believe they sent the same faulty battery back to me. When I complained again, they wanted £14 to send another one. I would avoid using this company again.

I ordered a replacement battery for my laptop and they sent the wrong one. They now expect me to pay for postage even though it was their mistake and I have paid £5.99 for the postage which I will not get back if I get a refund. After many emails and sending photos they still will not send a postage label.

I purchased a replacement laptop battery from good-batteries.co.uk in January 2025. The product was advertised with a 3-year warranty.
Within a few months the battery became faulty — it overheated when charging, lost power rapidly, and was unsafe to use. I contacted the seller within the warranty period to request a replacement.
Instead of honouring their warranty, the seller refused to replace the battery unless I paid an additional £10.99 “resending fee”. This extra charge is not mentioned anywhere in their warranty policy, which clearly promises a replacement for defective goods.
I also discovered that, despite using a .co.uk website, the seller is based in China, which makes returning lithium batteries impossible from the UK due to postal restrictions. This effectively makes their warranty worthless for UK buyers.
The seller’s conduct shows:
• Misleading advertising (a UK-style domain without clear UK presence)
• Refusal to honour their stated warranty
• Demands for extra payment to replace faulty goods
Warning to others: Based on my experience, this company does not honour its warranty commitments and UK consumers may find themselves without protection.

Made the mistake of ordering before checking reviews, thinking that their co.uk website meant they were uk-based. In common with many others, the wrong battery has been delivered and their return conditions makes it next to impossible to obtain any form of replacement or refund.

DON’T TAKE THE RISK, DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!

Purchased a Dell laptop battery which arrived in a few days, BUT the battery was not sealed and the laptop didn't recognise the battery. The leaflet inside the box said to discharge the battery until 2% and not to totally discharge and then charge to 100%. This new battery was already on 49% and discharge in an incredibly short time and over this time my laptop was unresponsive and very sluggish. I tested my old battery and the laptop performed as normal At £25 plus £5 postage, this was not a cheap battery. After various emails to good batteries they suggested I totally discharge the battery and charge 3 times, even though the paperwork said not too. I was extremely disappointed with this sub standard, unresponsive and expensive battery and arranged for me to
return it. They refunded me but didn't reimburse my return postage costs.

Fake batterys or just used battery repackaged and sold there uk company addresses are fake they are selling counterfeit batterys and shipping from China avoid scam

Two stars because it was delivered. Not the model I ordered/paid for but ‘similar”. Ok not an issue per se but it does not hold charge and that is a problem of course.

On a low income and was gifted a laptop by a charity. The battery capacity was low so needed a cheap replacement. These guys had it In stock. Quick delivery. Followed the instructions and now my laptop is working perfectly. Thank you.

Order new Battery for my Toshiba Satellite C-50, they sent me the wrong Battery, Have tried to resolve the situation, they wont refund my Money , have sent them pictures of my old Battery to help , they say the pictures are not good to blury , 9 e mails sent still no resolve and no Battery, USELESS NEVER WILL I USE THIS COMPANY, AGAIN WAY BEYOND ANGRY

I ordered this battery for my MacBook Pro thinking it would not work but for the price £32 including delivery it was worth a go. No problems fitting with the supplied screwdrivers. It came with 40% charge which I ran down to 2% as per the instructions and then charged to 100%. Powered the Mac down and left for 6 hours and booted it up and battery showed 99%. Give it a try.

Should have looked at these poor reviews before I bought a battery from this company as the significant number of 1 star ratings is correct. Battery arrived OK but 8 months later it suddenly stopped working. Contacted seller as it was under guarantee, their answer was for me to pay them 10.97 and they would replace the battery - I informed them that that was not how guarantees work. After ignoring my messages for a while the best offer they could come up with was me to pay them 8.97 and they would send me a replacement. Unacceptable service as that is not what a guarantee is about.

Don't understand the negative review on this company. Bought on friday,trakking provided, then delivered Tuesday. Great service, will use again.

The business address is bogus, AB15 8BS is a postcode for Queens Road Aberdeen Scotland quite some distance from the claimed Southall Middlesex on their website. Because of this I didn't progress my order.

Very pleased with the transaction. Having read other reviews I was sceptical however I ordered a replacement battery for my hp 250 G4 notebook. I received timely email updates. Fast delivery. Well packaged. I followed instructions and charged/discharged the new battery twice and it is working perfectly lasting in excess of 5 hours where as
my previous battery gave up in less than 1 hour. Time will tell if it lasts but based on the low price my expectations were exceeded.

I was delighted to find "good-batteries" website - it explains everything clearly: what the company sells, where the company is based, the guarantees the company offers - in short I feel it is a company you can trust.
And the price was reasonable - my order was for new battery to fit a Dell laptop Latitude E6440
Ordering was easy and trouble free and payment was secure. Despatch was quick, communication was good.
The goods arrived within 48 hours - well packaged and well protected from adverse weather.
I find no fault with this company. I wish them continued success!


The website explained clearly the service offered

Charger not compatible. After asking for photos of old charger, which is irrelevant, they finally agreed to refund. However shipped from Southall but they want me to ship to China which will cost more than item itself

Order battery for my 5 year old HP pavilion that only worked plugged in. There was a little delay in dispatch, that they kept me in loop with. Battery came with 80% charge, well packaged and overall would use again, 100%

I purchased my replacement battery from good batteries then read the reviews (wrong way round i know) the battery arrived on time within 3 days from my order, fitted perfectly and after one week is still providing almost a full days running after a full charge.
At the moment I am delighted with everything and rather pleased I did not read the reviews as would have paid double the price from other suppliers.
