We purchased a replacement battery for our Dell laptop in October 2020

The battery stopped holding charge in May 2021 and we emailed the company several times for a replacement or refund but with no response.

They offer a 3 year warrant and have a uk web address but they do not reply to emails

I would not buy from them again. A total waste of money

Placed order 11/6/21 arrived 14/6/21. Had more trouble opening box & packing than fitting Battery, which just fitted perfectly. With a special price, 3 year guarantee, and fantastic delivery schedule surely you can't get better. A thank you Good Batteries does not go amiss so THANK YOU for an efficient ordering/delivery service.

I ordered a battery for my MacBook Pro A1398 from them, but the part they sent did not fit - turned out the A1398 was fitted with different battery types over time. I wrote two emails to the customer service address they list on the website, got no response, opened a case with PayPal, still no response. This even through their website says their customer service responds within 24h and aims for 100% customer satisfaction. I made a claim with PayPal, and they offered a full refund - but they wanted the battery to be shipped to China, not to the UK warehouse listed on the product page, and they didn't send a shipping label. Turns out that lithium batteries not inside a device are actually prohibited items and will not be accepted by Royal Mail. But following a recommendation from PayPal customer service, I got a note from the Post Office stating that they had refused my package, and with that note and a picture of the package I got a full refund from PayPal. Bottom line: the vendor is a time-waster, but the PayPal experience, once I had gotten through to customer service reps on the phone, was very good.

This company is a Rip Off! is not worth this star they are only getting it so I can wright this review Good Batteries said they delivered my Lenovo battery to a Argos store but Argos will not except delivery from Hermes the courier company they use as there is no contract set up with them, but Good batteries said they sent it to Hermes, Hermes said they delivered it with a tracking number but I am now £25:60 out of pocket and this Rip Off company do not want to know stay well clear!!!

Thinking this was a UK company from their website, I bought 3 laptop batteries from them in January 2021. They arrived very quickly, clearly from a UK address.
In March one of the batteries would not recharge. I tried everything the company suggested but the battery was still not working. The company asked me for £5.99 to send a replacement. I cannot see why I should have to pay postage for a failure under warranty.
The company then stopped responding to emails.
I raised a dispute with PayPal. The company then said they would give me a refund if I send the faulty battery back to an address in China. Owing to the cost, and the refusal of many carriers to take defective Li ion batteries, I shall not be doing this.
I will certainly never use good-batteries again.

I have to give a star to put a review on.This company is a RIP OFF. Ordered a battery wrong one delivered told to send it back to china and pay postage so I end up losing more money.

After reading some of the reviews about these batteries and/or supplier, I was dubious but went ahead anyway. I'm very pleased I did because the battery [for Samsung laptop] arrived in good time and, after the following the instructions correctly, for charging and fully discharging the battery for first 4-5 uses, it went from 73% initially to 99% currently and lasts 4-5 hours easily. I have a feeling that if the latter procedure is not followed properly, then the user may indeed not get the best out of the battery but that is NOT the manufacturer's or suppliers fault.

I ordered a battery but then realised I had ordered the wrong one. I cancelled the order and Good Batteries immediately refunded my money. Excellent customer care. Thank you

Poor quality battery, never accepted a full charge from the get-go, max 2-3 hours working time compared to 6+ for original Dell battery. Tolerated as rarely need to use the laptop on battery but annoying. After less than 3 years it was down to about 45 mins, now just over 3 years its 10 mins. Cheap Chinese cr*p do yourself a favour and pay twice the price for an OEM one

I received a laptop battery for my Lenovo very quickly! I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly it came. Once I received it, it was the correct battery but I found that it wouldn't click into my laptop properly which was a shame, however, when I emailed Good Batteries to tell them about it I received a very fast reply. They asked for me to send them photos and when I did they replied swiftly to say they would refund me and have done so.

Bought a battery with 4 year G/tee, faulty after 19 months, they tested it said it was ok, after multiple messages, emails, phone calls, (not answered) I finally got through, A 'New' replacement battery was sent to me, on testing it, it was only giving ½ the spec that it should, they are now completely ignoring any communication. These batteries are cheap Turkish copies.

Although I didn't have a great experience with this company, I think it may have been partly my fault due to not precisely describing the part number of the battery I required.
Although the company seems to be run from China they do have UK stock, and, due to this, I received my battery within a few day. Brilliant! However, when unpacked, it was not the right battery and wouldn't even fit my laptop. After some confusing details about what I should put on my return package I sent it back to Leicester. I was then asked for tracking details and references which I had not been asked to put on the return package. By now I was getting worried, but after some further emails I did receive a refund for the original order (everything but the £2.95 return postage). So I'm happy, hence the four stars.
Two tips: specify as exactly as you can the model number of the computer and original battery you want to replace; take photos of any return package and get proof of posing. I actually think the proprietor is honest but maybe just a bit disorganised. Also, if you can ascertain whether the battery is available from UK stock before you order it would be useful. God knows how long it would take to come all the way from China, and how, if necessary, do you return it? In the end I paid twice as much for a Duracel. Swings and roundabouts...

Battery started out fine, a month later and it barely holds charge for more than 2/3 hours so it's always plugged in. Loads of chinese writing all over the battery so obviously a cheap knock off made to look like the real thing.

You will be asked to return your cheap knock off battery to CHINA which isn't even possible to do for the general public.

Disgusting company, all the 5 star reviews have a single paragraph and look dodgy. Notice how all the bad reviews sound like real people...

Bought a new batterie for my Dell laptop, then read the reviews. If I had of read them before I probably would not have made the purchase. However, despite my misgivings the item arrived in the promised time, so far so good, I let the battery discharge as instructed, then gave it a full charge. I am happy to say that the battery is performing as expected. It’s still early days and I will add an update in a couple of weeks to report on the status of the product but as it stands at this moment in time I am satisfied with the service and product. It’s now 2 months later so editing my original post. The battery is still working just fine.

Perfect transaction. I may not have purchased if I had read all the reviews however I did and the service was great. Placed the order on Tuesday evening standard delivery, Wednesday received dispatch confirmation , Thursday the battery arrived. Fitted on Friday and was fully charged , instructions say to discharge to 2% and then fully charge up before use , which I did. It took some 5 hrs plus to discharge the battery without battery saving on. Easy to fit , laptop is now like new!!

I so wish I had read the reviews of this company before I had purchased a battery from them.
All I can say is whatever you do, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS WEBSITE.
At first everything seemed fine. I asked them to confirm the right battery for my laptop, they did, so I Purchased it for the sum of £24.98. Some very pleasant emails were exchanged from informing me the order had been received, dispatched and asking me to confirm receipt. All seemed OK.
And then, 32 days after placing the order, 27 days after receiving the battery, it failed.
I re read there returns policy, noted (again) their 60 day money back guarantee and emailed them asking to send me Return Merchandise Authorization form so that I could return the battery for a full refund. I never received it, instead I received an email saying I needed to do this, that, the other and more, and if none of this worked they would offer me a partial refund. READ YOUR OWN WEBSITE MUPPETS, it states if the battery has been in use for more than 9 months a partial refund will be offered at their discretion, not 32 days! (or by this time 41).
So, as the payment for the battery was through PayPal, I contacted them. Gave them all of the emails between myself and the seller, the warranty and returns information from the website and the fact there website states 60 day money back guarantee and asked for their assistance.
Initially things looked good as I received a response from the seller within 2 days of raising the issue with PayPal. However that response was a complete let down, it was on the lines of 'you can have a full refund, if you return the battery to us, at your expense, at the following address:

Bloody CHINA!!! Have you ever check the postage costs for sending a laptop battery back to China? Believe me its more than I paid for the battery, sorry paperweight (as it has become known).

If I could have started this review by giving zero stars I would have done.

Bought a battery for a dell e5440. Was worried about the poor reviews on trustpilot but I thought at least I have paypal protection. The battery arrived after 3 days, fitted perfectly and was 76% full when it arrived. The computer estimated 2hr43min left. After using it for a while it was still at 60%. So overall very happy with it.

Scammed too. I wish that I had read the reviews before ordering. Which I usually do read.
Poor charging, not quite the same fit as the old battery.
No contact other then email, which I doubt I will get a response to, let alone a refund.
My battery was sent from an address in Dunstable.
I have offered to return their battery, but not to Guandong Province in China.

I have since received replies from the seller, and they want me to let the battery run down, which I have done. Then, they have asked me to take video shots and photos of the battery charging. I told them I am not that good at these procedures, and do I take them on my mobile phone. Not had a reply since. I will try and contact Paypal. I have contacted them again with an email asking for a courtesy of a reply.
Their 60day guarantee is a sham. Very unethical. I guess I have lost my money. Sad not to be able to trust people these days. But it serves me right for not checking up on them more.

I would now like to add that the seller has agreed to a refund after several email exchanges, and I have received an email from Paypal to say that my money has been refunded in total, including the postage.

I am grateful for their consideration, and a resolution. Perhaps I was too harsh in the first instance.
