This is a follow up review for the review we wrote on 02/04;22.
We received a reply on our Trustpilot review from the Healthbeds Company asking us to contact them by telephone, which we did, they suggested that they come to our home to have a look at the mattress, which we agreed.
A representative from the Company came on Friday the 08/04/22 he inspected the mattress and in his opinion there was nothing wrong with the mattress, but when we explained about the indentations in each side of the mattress which left a large raised hump down the centre of the mattress, he explained that the hump had to be slept on to make the whole mattress flat, we reminded him that when we slept on the mattress the indentations were a lot deeper and also no one had slept on the mattress in the past 3 months we also explained that the indentations weren't as large large when he inspected it as it was when we stopped sleeping on it.
My wife and I are elderly pensioners, how can we both sleep in the centre of a double mattress, also we explained about the discomfort & poor nights sleep we have had with this mattress, and we had to put our daughters old mattress on our bed to get a good nights sleep, he had sympathy for us but no solution and told us he would have to go back to his Company and have a word with his superior and would get back to us on the following Monday 11/04/22. They did not contact us on that date or any other date, it upsets us that in times of difficulty that the Healthbeds mattress which in our opinion was expensive and we thought because of the price it would be the perfect mattress for us, but it was not it was so uncomfortable to sleep on and it can never be slept on by us and the money we paid we will never benefit from it.

Had my bed delivered today and love it, great service and delivered quick, highly recommend.

Very helpful young man explained options, no pressure at all, extensive range of beds. I bought one from the Smeaton Brothers Ultimate Collection, 1000. It is a lovely bed and extremely comfortable. The delivery men were polite and hard working, taking away my old bed and positioning the new one with care.

Recently bought our bed from Healthbeds for our first home. We did not know where to start, after being advised by a helpful sales assistant we narrowed it down to 3 beds, returned a couple of weeks later, and went with the ‘cool comfort’ mattress, bed and headboard. Staff were very informative and we didn’t feel pressured to make a decision. We have found the bed very comfortable and it looks great! We would definitely recommend buying your bed from here due to the great service and a variety in high quality beds to choose from.

Recently bought an Enviro-Lux 3200 from Healthbeds, superb quality bed and outstanding customer service as always. My husband and I have bought beds from them for over 30 years, initially at their shop on Sarah Street in Ferham. Two of our friends, my mum, and both our daughter and son have also just bought beds so what more can be said with regard to recommendation! More importantly, to be able to patronise a local business with a heartwarming family history and receive a high quality product in today’s retail climate is just wonderful - thank you.

This family run firm is an absolute gem!

We first came across them 30 years ago and we brought our third bed from them just 4 years ago. At the end of last year we had a major fault with that mattress and I called them up and they immeditaley offered to replace the mattress free of charge.

My wife and I visited the showroom - tested out some newer models of mattress and the new one was delivered today.

They really are a super company, no sales pressure, plenty of expert advice and they make you very comfortable as you go through that crazy routine of testing a bed in public - (certainly not normal behaviour).

The fact that they all follow my favourite football team - Rotherham United - was a big bonus too!

Health beds popped up at the right time. Spotted one of their vans whilst driving & made the enquiry. Now I can’t be sold anything I don’t specifically want or need. Truly making my way into their show room and understanding what I was genuinely missing, had me spending on my HEALTH. I’ve had my mattress & bed for just over a few months, but my back pain and quality of sleep is something I didn’t think I’d achieve again. Thank you all, it’s so appreciated!

What a wonderful, local, family run business! From beginning my enquiry to purchasing our new matress, we've been so impressed with the friendly service. Their matress toppers also stand the test of time (I've had mine for years!) which you certainly struggle to find in shop-bought alternatives. Now any family member who sleeps on one requests their own! We've returned to Health Beds so many times and always the turn-around time is quick. Their memory foam pillows are also pretty fantastic!

Although this is a very comfortable matress little dots appeared on it after the first 2 years despite always using a mattress cover. After contacting the company they told me its a reaction caused by the chemicals in the mattress with the washing liquid used on my bedding. My daughter has the same one and the same thing has happened to hers. I would never buy a health bed mattress again.

Purchased a mattress from Healthbeds LTD in April 2021, It arrived in May and wasn’t what I ordered. I phoned to make them aware of this and I was called a liar! Eventually spoke to someone who apologised and arranged to have the mattress changed. I ordered a head board at the same time and was advised there would be a few weeks delay. The replacement mattress eventually arrived, after I had called twice to chase, but still no headboard. I chased again in July and was told someone would call me back……September now and I’m still waiting for that call. I never received a reply to the email I sent complaining about the poor service. Terrible customer service, once they have your money they don’t care at all. My advice is go elsewhere.

After buying from big companies in the past, in the current climate, I wanted to support a family run business when buying my next bed and it did not disappoint. I went to the factory and from walking through the main door to walking round the showroom, I was looked after. The sales guys (I believe was son and son in law?) was so helpful in helping me find the right mattress and there was absolute no pressure from either of them to get the sale through. I wanted a specific mattress which needed to be made and their turnover time was weeks compared to being quoted months from other companies. Thank you so much health beds, you’ve made my dream (pun intended) come true!!

Needed a new mattress so called in as had seen their offices and factory whilst driving around. Couldnt have recieved any better treatment. Our advisor was one of the family. He was professional and courteous. Very helpful and knowledgeable. It felt good to be supporting a family firm. Would definitely recommend this company.

I’ve had 3 beds & mattresses Over the years from these guys. They have all been so comfortable. My daughter loves her new ottoman. The service has always been too notch and their pillow are next level. Ask for Toby, he will look after you
