I absolutely loved my experience at this shop .
I’m a plus size and I was a bit nervous.
They put me at ease . Listened to my wants . And helped me find the dress I didn’t know I wanted . Absolutely over the moon . Couldn’t believe how slim I looked and loved attention to detail with tiara and veil .

I purchased my dress from these lovely ladies back in November 2019 when they were still visiting different hotels with their pop up shop each week and collected the final (altered) dress in March 2020.
Several lockdowns and postponements later, I finally got to wear it in September 2021!
I purchased the alterations package through them and had all the initial alterations done in time for our first wedding date in June 2020, but as we had to postpone for more than a year, the dress was not sitting quite right. So I messaged the shop a mere three weeks before our new date and they were more than happy to assist with further alterations, free of charge and in time for our big day!
Lovely ladies to work with and a very talented seamstress on their team! They made the whole experience stress free and fun. So many different dresses to choose from as well! Would definitely recommend!

went there to have a look for a wedding dress as I'm a plus size lady I am shy but going to hearts bride my experience was lovely thay are so friendly and maded me feel really relaxed and I found my perfect fit wedding dress I would recommend them to any one from small sizes to plus size 5 🌟 all round

I went to see the lovely lady’s at hearts bridal today after seeing all there pictures and post on Facebook. Being a curvy girl I was worried and things fitting and being comfortable to undress as soon as I got there all my worries left me the lady’s are so welcoming and friendly and really make you feel comfortable. The dress I picked is amazing an it’s completely different to anything I would go for and that’s down to the help and honest opinion of the lady’s can not thank you all enough or recommend you enough

I was so disappointed with my wedding dress trying on yesterday after going to another shop & the only had size 10s in the shop to try on , I am only a size 14 myself . I went to heart brides with a bit of a heavy heart from my previous experience , how wrong was I . I was greeted with a warm welcome & was told I could choose & try on what I wanted . I chose many different dresses & was guided by there expertise & being told if I didn’t like it at least we have tried every shape & style . I felt like we had met with old friends with the ladies who done everything they could to help me . Well I hit the jackpot & found “ the one “ . I am so excited with my dress . I cannot recommend Heart Brides enough & will definitely recommend to everyone who is getting married . Thank you Zoe & Chantelle , you made the whole experience one I will never forget .

I am an older bride, who is also a curvy plus size. I was absolutely petrified on the lead up to my wedding dress shopping because I felt that I would not fit into anything & felt nervous & self conscious.
As soon as we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. I felt at ease. The shop is nicely decorated inside & has lots of lovely dresses in all sizes to choose from.
I was taken very good care of, I chose all the wrong dresses for my figure expecting to be wearing 20+ sizes. How wrong could I have been. I was trying on 16's to 18's!
I felt special, I felt a bride & for first time in a long time I felt confident & happy with my figure. I was asked to try on a dress I didnt pick myself & to trust the Wedding dress assistant. I couldn't believe it, it was 'the one'. I cried as did my Mum & Mother in Law to be. It was perfect in every way! Thank you so much Heart Brides for helping me turn a worrying time into the most special time. I love my dress!!

Absolutely wonderful experience with the ladies at Heart Brides. I wasn't looking forward to starting the search for my wedding dress due to being a size 16 and in past experience, some dress establishments cater mostly for the slim frames and the first experience I had confirmed my worst fears as only 1 of the six dresses I tried was actually in my size. I just couldn't get that 'wow' feeling and was absolutely dreading going to anymore places as I didn't feel I'd ever find something for a curvier frame. However.......wow!!! My friend came across Heart Brides and I was attracted to their site saying they cater for ALL sizes. They most certainly did!!!! I tried 8 dresses on in my size, some too big!! And I am sooooo happy to say, with their excellent attentive advice and assistance I found my perfect dress!! I was so happy I cried!!! These ladies have such a wealth of experience and really care that you find your dress!!! I'd recommend them to anyone!!! Go now!!! Xxxx

Highly recommend these ladies they are absolutely amazing. I was unfortunately postponed twice due to Covid and honestly these ladies were so helpful and understanding and really helped to lift my spirits again after all the disappointments. From the start trying on umpteen dresses and Crying like a baby when I found “the one” to my final fitting 2 years later the communication was fab (even through lock down) I felt comfortable and at ease at all times. A huge thank you to you wonderful ladies!!!

I can not thank these lovely ladies enough. Made my day with my beautiful wedding dress. After visiting them during covid times at a pop shop in a hotel. They kept my dress and I went to there lovely new shop for my the dress fitting when we was allowed. My wedding day was 4/9/21 Absolutely magical day. I went with idea of dress but came out with something Completely different absolutely stunning my 9 year old son cryed when Walked down the aisle as he said mummy u look like a princess. WOW If ur looking for ur dream weeding dress then please book in to see these lovely ladies . So much choice so much help and totally honest with you.

I can't recommend Heartbrides enough.
Everyone was so helpful and friendly.
I went looking for a dress and being in the plus size range I honestly didn't hold out much hope.
Well , I had a shock, not only did they cater for the plus size ladies,but the dresses were gorgeous.
I was expecting to be put in some frumpy meringue of a dress, but no.
I was allowed to pick five styles and the sizes went even bigger and still looked amazing.
Needless to say I found my wedding dress and I fell in love with it.
Whenever I came for a fitting,(only two, thanks Covid), I was always made to like I was the only person in the shop, so special.

I truly walked down the aisle on cloud nine, I felt like the princess I dreamt about as a child. Thank you so much ladies.

Back in August 2020 I said yes to the dress with my mum. It was my first time visiting a Bridal shop & hopefully my last, but I genuinely can’t stop telling people about how amazing Heart Brides is.

Zoie, Kathryn & Chantelle were absolutely wonderful.

I’m not a girlie girl, I haven’t been imagining my dress for most of my life, I don’t often wear dresses outside of work so the whole experience was pretty daunting for me to begin with. I kind of had an idea of what I wanted but only because I saw it in a film and liked it 🤦🏻‍♀️

Anyway, the first appointment I was clearly nervous and out of comfort zone but the ladies helped me pick out a few dresses. Chantelle gave me the confidence to pick one I wasn’t so sure about because it was nothing like what I had in my head & too pretty for me. That same dress, turned out to be my perfect dress! I’d never have found it without them.

After three fittings I was ready to go. Kathryn has such an eye for detail, pinning me in the right places so the dress was a perfect fit. Every time I visited including the first one it felt like I was seeing old friends, they really do make the experience comfortable, enjoyable, relaxed and hassle free.

I can’t wait to see them again as I shall be visiting again to have my dress cleaned & boxed which, I have heard from other Heart Brides, is another brilliant service of theirs.

Zoie has made sure that I am happy with everything, she even took the time to check to see how we have been keeping during the lockdown. The contact Mum and I have had with the team has been second to none and it gives you all the confidence you need in the business.

I can’t thank Zoie and the ladies enough and I would highly recommend visiting Heart Brides.

I got my dream dress in Heartbrides Ely the ladies made me feel so at ease and as I’m an older plus size lady I was really nervous about choosing a dress, but absolutely no need, they helped me to find my beautiful dress, my best friend has just got her dress from there too!! Heartbrides was absolutely amazing! No judgment from them even though I felt awkward as I am plus size. They helped me find the perfect dress and I felt like a princess! Absolutely amazing and would never send anyone anywhere else. They went above and beyond to help when we rescheduled our wedding with just a few weeks notice thanks to COVID! I want to get married all over again just so I can visit Zoe and her amazing team to find another perfect dress. Heart brides are just that, all heart with genuine care and passion for their brides to be. I cannot recommend enough and will always send friends or family straight to Heart Brides.

I visited Heart Brides in Ipswich and Zoe and her amazing team were outstanding. They were so helpful and being an older bride made me feel so comfortable, confident and beautiful.
I would rate them 100% and became amazing friends, they were so helpful when I lost weight and had to have emergency dress alterations a week before the wedding, so for all you brides go to Heart Brides ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

If I could give 10 stars I would. As a plus size lady, looking for a wedding dress bought more fear than fun. I popped along to heart brides and was greeted with a smile and no judgement at all. I chose a couple of dresses that would cover me up and was asked what I would actually like to see myself in, they gave me spot on advice about my body shape and we found an amazing dress that looked stunning on me and could be altered into what I wanted (long at the back shorter at the front) nothing was to much trouble and I was always treated with dignity and respect. Thank you ladies for making me the princess of my day x

A cannot express how amazing these guys were from start to finish with both my wife and I…. My dress needing altering considerably due to a significant weight loss and Heart Brides made sure that nothing was ever too much trouble… our dresses were perfect! ❤️

I really cannot recommend Heart Brides enough. My daughter purchased her wedding dress from them. From start to finish the whole team were friendly, helpful and went over and above to make sure that we were happy with the dress even adding in extra viewings and fittings. Nothing was too much trouble. Special heartfelt thanks to Zoie who was just so wonderful and made us feel so special during the whole process and beyond. THE only Bridal Shop any future brides should visit in my opinion xxx
