Don't touch them

Don't touch them. I cancelled my Insurance today having sold my car. Because my policy was for a classic car I was told no refund.
Shame I was not told that when I took out the policy.
A total rip-off

Do not use this company

I would give this company no stars at all if I could. A complete con artist tried to tell us that our car could only be insured if we bought a tracker. They are also impossible to get hold off - they call you but you can't call them. We have reported them as a scam operator.

Trading under false name and scamming people

I've only clicked on the one star because there was no lower rating. This company are not even called Herts anymore they are called Stirling. I cancelled my insurance with JUST KAMPERS in July because I sold my van. Turns out I'm insured with HERTS and JUST CAMPERS didn't bother telling them so I get a threatening letter through the door 2 WEEKS after I cancel my insurance saying I missed a payment and I now owe them that plus £25 for cancelling my DD!! I try to phone the number I got from them and can't get through. When I google HERTS turns out they're not called HERTS anymore they are called STIRLING. So they are trading under a false name. THEN I get an email yesterday from JUST KAMPERS saying I owe THEM 3 times the amount! Including a charge for an open claim from APRIL which was DECLINED so I had to pay for the cost of the damage myself!! Why are these companies allowed to do this. I will never use any of them again. (I didn't even know who the last 2 were as I thought I was insured with Just Kampers. Crooks. The lot of them.

Dreadful immoral company

Insurance quoted, accepted and paid in full online a week ago,Today without warning I receive notification from my bank that £58.17 has been taken, When calling Herts Insurance Im told that I failed to declare an accident so the premium has been adjusted up. In error I forgot to declare a very insignificant claim that my wife has 2 years ago, she a named driver on our Daughters learner policy, a genuine error. In all honesty £58 is irrelevant its all about the behaviour of this company....The call handler was dreadful, If he worked for me he would be in a disciplinary hearing facing dismissal as no empathy or customer skills whatsoever, I have opened a case with both the financial Ombudsman and the FCA for this immoral behaviour.

RIP off

RIP off - surprise surprise I look on here and I see how appalling this company is. Charged me extra for a claim after I had paid and when I proved it was not a claim and I received nothing from it refused to reverse the charge.
Brokers are hiding these rip off companies and leading us to pain and problems

AVOID this company and Just Kampers

1* is too high for this company
The company cancelled my insurance instead of changing my address. After many hours sorting that issue out I was bombarded with calls, 3 or so a day leaving messages saying I was driving with no insurance. Hence more hours wasted on the phone to this awful company.
I have just cancelled my insurance a month later as I sold my campervan, and have been given pittance as a refund for the remaining 11months. The patronising advisor couldn't tell me the breakdown of the refund as someone else was in my record but on the phone to another customer.
Such bad customer service.
Avoid at all costs.

Daylight robbery

Daylight robbery. Cancelled my daughters policy after she passed her driving test, didn't get any type of refund although they said I would and now 3 months after the insurance policy was cancelled have taken £300 from my account as apparently when you pay by card they continuously take it each year as they forget to cancel that part of the policy.

A corrupt company

Shocking company because a direct debit did not go as planned first payment even tho money in account they want to charge twice as much even thou it was a mistake . I thought it was a scam as there is so much out there these days .
They are fraudsters who should not be able to operate in the financial services if this is how they operate . Be warned go elsewhere…Don’t use these thieves!!!

Actin g in bad faith

These brokers, best quote , given that Stirling underwriter would not renew my existing cover(£1650), was one for £5000. A simple search via Compare the Market .com disclosed multiple quotes starting £2580 (Ageas) well below £5000
As brokers supposedly acting in their clients interests why did they not provide me with any quotes such as I found online from the market at large not just those that give them the best the commission. Older drivers like me and others who have expressed their views should avoid using this firm

Car insurance renewal. Unscrupulous behaviour

It appears they are unscrupulous when dealing with the elderly. Firstly my car insurance went from £417.67 to £979.41 which is scandalous secondly they were told not to renew automatic which they have ignored. Secondly my car insurance was booked by phone last time, they assumed I can deal with them via portal and response I could not do that so they went a head and renewed . Now I want to cancel I have posted documents back but are waiting for a response . This is very unsatisfactory yours Alan Bell

Herts insurance, what a bunch of rip off B*****ds
Because I had to scrap my old van before that policy ran out(days) they said my No claims is invalid because my new policy on my new vehicle overlapped my previous one!!
So they took an £85 of my credit card without any warning and put it over the limit
I've never claimed in my life or had ever had an accident ,
Never again with Just kampers/Herts/Flux
All the same company by the way
Con men

Absolute robbing swines

Absolute robbing swines, I have had learner insurance for less than 4 weeks with this absolute disgrace of a company. They were reluctant to answer my questions on the first call. However with it being cheap we decided to take the plan. I passed my test and then now they are demanding £241 cancellation fee. Absolute robbing. Would not recommend this company to anyone. They have a bad attitude and are not professional.

Two company names for one company under different comparrison sites

This company seem to be trading under at least two names and using different names for each popular quote comparison broker web site.
Initially, they provided a quotation which I accepted and they took the money. They then came back to me telling me I had undeclared accidents.
I had declared two accidents initially, the first of which having been cleared after I had the decision changed to bothe party responsibility.
As such, I told them that given the circumstances, their quote was invalid and I wanted to go back to the marketplace.
They refunded the installment but kept £28 as insurance for the one day it took to discover the first penalty.
In a further search, I was careful to note my previous two claims and in this process, the answer sheet only required listings under three years old. As such, my first claim was not required and a quote came up under their other name which seemed reasonable and I accepted it only to be told I had a undisclosed accident following collection of their first installment.
At this point, I realised that both companies were the same company and this was their little trick to extort money from would be customers. For me, a broker should be honest and helpful. This company have proven to be less than honest and helpful only to their own benefit. They may have honest intentions but tricks like this and using accusation rather than sorting out issues does not demonstrate good customer relations. I will however keep the insurance as I am far too busy to fuss over this kind of trollism but I will not use these comparrison sites again as the business is loose to say the least. Update - They cancelled my policy after I posted this - the Good news is that I got my insurance cheaper after these rogues charged me over £200 for interim cover.

I have been fraudulently charged for…

I have been fraudulently charged for some insurance I never had. This has happened for the fourth time. The police got involved the first time and whoever had taken out the insurance was taken to court. Since then it has happened again a last year, the police got involved again, and today they have taken £731 off my credit card. I dont know how they got my credit card details. This company is perhaps accidentally taking money which they then give back but meanwhile you are paying for premium rates on their phone. I am reporting them. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK
