I have been fraudulently charged for some insurance I never had. This has happened for the fourth time. The police got involved the first time and whoever had taken out the insurance was taken to court. Since then it has happened again a last year, the police got involved again, and today they have taken £731 off my credit card. I dont know how they got my credit card details. This company is perhaps accidentally taking money which they then give back but meanwhile you are paying for premium rates on their phone. I am reporting them. GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK

Daughter decided to sell her car after just 3 months, pursues to cancel her insurance to be told that we have to pay an admin fee, early repayment figure and dd costs amongst lots of other fees totalling to £197! I’m sorry but WHAT?!
We have never missed a dd payment, never been in arrears yet being penalised for cancelling SOMETHING THAT WE NO LONGER NEED! I’ve never experienced such day light robbery!
Actual robbers from the community and lure you in with cheap prices.
Please don’t use this company!!! Go with a reputable insurer that are well known otherwise you too will be conned in to paying for something you don’t actually need or have.

Another appalling treatment from Herts/Sterling Insurance.
They cancelled my policy after renewing it, taking my money and giving me the excuse ‘underwriters instructions’. I used them because they claim to specialise in UK insurance for EU residents which is exactly the real reason for the cancellation.

Took out car insurance but ended up having a further £40 taken out my account. Apparently I didn't declare a speeding ticket which was totally wrong! I screen printed the original quote but they wouldn't accept this. A horrible company with 0% ethics and best avoided.
Add the exorbitant call costs to the price of the premium.
Just renewed cover after daughter passed her test. Passed from one person to the other and put on hold for ages. Everyone repeating the same mantra. Eventually got it sorted. Then a little later got a warning about my phone package price cap. Just investigated and have been charged nearly £17 for the privilege of renewing the policy. Robbing gits. No mention of the stealth charge.

Sorted car insurance with this hopeless company, paid a year upfront, after a few months added my wife as an additional driver. Once insurance was paid in full (which was immediate) got no end of requests from them for one document or another, they really didn't seem to know what they were doing. Have just now received a weeks notification from them that they are cancelling policy and I have no means for a refund??.. I paid nearly £1000 upfront then additional payments to add my wife and they have just cancelled policy and kept all our money. Absolutely pointless trying to get through either via email/phone. Just complete scam artists. Pathetic joke. Glad to say that my wife and I have gone with a much more professional company who know what they are doing.

But whilst I was on hold the automated message was telling me that the friendly folk at Just Kampers would find me the best deal
£ 500 renewal but last week when I did my own quote it was £ 300
Anyway long story short £80 to cancel after questioning why my renewal was 500 when their friendly team are suppose to find me the best deal 500, 500

Sunday May 22, 2022 - Just noticed that instead of refunding / reversing the earlier charge of £ 307.76 they have again debited the £307.76 to my credit card !!! So for a policy that was cancelled in Feb this company has renewed it TWICE in May 2022 when the car is not even with me !!!

I fund this outfit on go compare. I thought I was looking at the policy details but by mistake I went to the DD page not knowing I had filled in my credit card details. They swooped in took£55.00 out of my account. I called them within 10 minutes explained the mistake. They charged by £26.20 to cancel the policy and for one days insurance. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS LOT. David Flux and his wife make £12 million a year according to companies house. I am on Disability payments, the £26m they kept means I cannot pay my gas bill this week. Really caring outfit - not

I phoned HIC and explained my predicament, I was put through to an extremely competent adviser, who, could not have been more helpful, she was an extremely cheerful girl and resolved my problem with the minimum of fuss, she was a star in an other wise terrible day!.
