Bought the Somerset Pocket Mattress from my local store. After my old mattress anything would be nice but in all honesty its fantastic- had some really good nights sleep.

Third Highgrove mattress , very pleased , don’t be put off by negative reviews, it’s only a small sample , been told they make 8,000 mattresses a week and the store has stocked them for over 12 years
Agree with previous reviews the mattress is awful especially on the edges where you tend to get out of bed. The edge collapses and sinks and does not return to its original shape. Top prices for poor quality would not recommend. Will not be buying any Highgrove bed ever again. No response to complaint says 10 year warranty on mattress but worthless.
Their delivery truck drivers cause damage to parked vehicles and drive off, Highgrove beds use a insurance company Century Claims WNSA who basically make sure you will NEVER get the damage they cause repaired at their cost even when it is on CCTV clearly showing it.
Poor Highgrove beds for being in bed with losers.
I purchased a divan set with a sleep story 2000 luxury mattress from Furniture Village online sale it was delivered in January 2021. I complained after a couple of weeks that mattress made me feel very warm and the edge of the mattress wasn’t very supporting. In fact my old mattress had more support than the sleep Story. Furniture village asked me to forward a photograph, I then received a telephone call saying the mattress looked fine and they wouldn’t be taking it any further.
I then started with neck back and leg problems, because we were in lockdown and I couldn’t take the mattress back I thought I would try and get used to it.
Alas I haven’t. My back, leg and neck are much worse and I now need a walking stick. I got in touch with Furniture village and they sent a company round to test the mattress. This was done by the man laying on my bed for a few seconds and he said the mattress felt fine to him. I have now been told by furniture village that they are not going to do anything about it. They offered me 10% off a new mattress. I thought when you purchased anything it must be fit for purpose. This mattress isn’t fit for purpose and I have not had a good nights, painless sleep since it was purchased.
Very bad mattress and very bad customer care from Furniture Village.
So Collingwood Bachelor has changed this mattress twice already. The latest replacement has gone the same way and the mattress is beginning to sink in the
middle. My back is terrible and I am going to have to call them again re this latest Highgrove Mattress. HIGHGROVE mattresses are the worst I’ve ever had in my life. I’ll report back!!!
We had a Equasleep mattress for several months and it was the worst sleep experience we’ve ever had. The sides collapsed turning a 5ft mattress into a 3 ft mattress. The store we purchased it allowed us to change to a more expensive and higher spec. Hopefully we can now sleep better and get our physical & mental health back. We have not had a good night sleep and had taken to sleeping in the day. The salesman claimed they had no problem but let slip when we were paying more for a better mattress. 6 week wait for new mattress and delivered today. Delivery crew said it was not their first of these mattresses to fail. On removal the mattress could have been folded in two. Bad backs and poor sleep hopefully will be banished. Good riddance Equasleep!
My parents bought us a Highgrove Churton mattress (although through Land of Beds) as a gift, Have had for less than a year. Both me and my partner had been struggling with this mattress - sides have no support, also feels like the springs are weak - as started to both roll off bed or roll into each other... Crazy. ** So in short horrible nights sleep. ** Then imagine having to let your parents know it didn't do the job (I would have avoided telling them but we wanted to contact the company direct to resolve - but.... This mattress Stated as having a warranty/guarantee but effectively it is useless as both companies want to charge for a "Third Party" to test it (that third party is probably a subsidiary) - They really just did not make me feel cared about.... AT ALL... Fancy a company not wanting to take a customers word for not being happy with something... and having to pay to get your money back....Therefore steer well clear.
Purchased from Furniture Village whole I believe they supply exclusively we bought a Sleep Story 4000 to replace a new Bensons For Beds bed which had dipped in the middle and was rock hard despite being medium tension.
The showroom example was medium also but nice and soft (accepting it had been used a lot). The mattress looks good quality and feels good and the bed base appears reasonably well made although the sprung base clunks a lot as though something is catching.
However, within 3 months it became apparent the bed was not going to ease its tension and is far too firm for comfort. It’s nothing like the one in the shop and we feel it’s been misrepresented and sold.
We are in discussion with Furniture Village (delayed because of lockdown) and they are insisting on a technician visit. We will see what happens.
At the end of the day we have an expensive bed which is not the comfort we wanted or expected and feel the mattress has been “over manufactured”. We just want to be able to trade back in for a bed which will deliver the quality expected for the price being Paid
I bought the Highgrove Churton mattress for just under £500, I’ve had it just over one year now and I have to say it’s been the worst years sleep of my life! I’ve never experienced back pain like it, I’ve never had a solid 4 hours sleep, the quality of this product is just poor. My partner also wakes up in agony and both now on pain killers for back pain. The sides have totally flopped, there are un-settled areas all over the bed, no support what so ever I always feel like I’m about to fall out of the bed. I have reported the problem to the shop that supplied this bed and have said that I would need to pay a further £76, after explaining I no longer trust this brand they are now refusing to offer any other mattress! Be careful folks!
Avoid this manufacturer. I bought a Highgrove Belvoir 2400 mattress for just over £800. I wanted to buy local (we're in the north of England) and support our local supplier, however, now I just wish I had gone for a big name with a proven reputation. The first mattress was delivered and had a hole in the tape edge seam. We immediately contacted the retailer who offered a replacement but we were concerned it would be of the same poor quality so we rang Highgrove direct and spoke to a manager in 'customer services' who reassured us that this must have been a one-off and not their usual high standard. We accepted the exchange and replacement and it arrived today with TWO holes in it. Also, the first mattress had flattened on one side - in just 2 weeks! Truly appalling quality for such an expensive mattress. Shoddy workmanship, non-existent quality control and exorbitant price tag for the quality offered. Spend your hard-earned cash elsewhere. If I could give zero stars I would have!
Awful mattress. Cost 1k and we haven’t had a good sleep yet. I sink towards my partner as he is a little heavier. I end up sleeping on a diagonal to try and balance the weight. Neither of us are heavy either. My neck is sore and there is no support for your back when you are on your side as you are pulled into the middle. Do not ever buy
Thank you Highgrove Beds for all your great service. Very happy with your Mattress and lead times. 5 Star company :)
Never bothered leaving reviews in the past, but I feel I need to shout about the Aston 1000 mattress, service was amazing, delivered when they said within the 10 days quoted and more importantly I'm waking more refreshed to take on the day,
I bought my Highgrove Zonagel 1400 Mattress from a local supplier and I am beyond thrilled. Excellent value for money and has provided me with a great nights sleep ever since I bought it.
Would not buy another brand.
We bought our mayfield 2000 from a local retailer and have no regrets. It is very comfortable, represents good value for money and gives a great night's sleep.
After reading many reviews i just wanted to point out that i purchased Highgrove Anniversary 1500. I had surgery on my lower back and needed something with good support. This mattress was worth every penny and is defiantly for people that suffer with back problems. Plus its a turn able mattress and never had 1 fault at all. Its given me 3 years of wonderful sleep. So now due to my Husband needing a medium mattress due hip problems we are going to purchase the Regency 1500 that we are both happy with the quality . You can not beat traditional mattresses ..
Second review on Highgrove beds and their supplier Claytons at Lincoln. Second replacement mattress supplied on 11th January. 7th May and the mattress has two large indentations where my husband and I have laid. I add here that I am lightweight. Claytons carpets have contacted Highgrove who will do nothing unless we pay more money. Throw good money after bad I don't think so. Dreadful product, awful experience. Buyer beware. If I could give less than one star I would.
The worst experience with this mattress. It's a Hartwell Ortho 1000. We bought it in a panic between lockdowns and have regretted it ever since. My partner has been left with a severe back pain and I simply cannot sleep on it anymore. Avoid at all costs!
Purchased a new Highgrove Zonagel 2400.
Have to say that the quality of the mattress is very good and gives me a great night sleep. The key to this bed is that you can sleep right to the edge so it’s almost like sleeping on a 5ft bed despite only actually being 4,6.
Highly recommend this bed for a great nights sleep.
Bought Highgrove Luxe 2000 from Furniture Village 18 months ago. Is it comfortable? No. Is it value for money? No. Does it cause back pain? Yes. Does it feel flimsy and poor quality? Yes. Would I buy agin? No. Stay clear.
