Bought the Somerset Pocket Mattress from my local store. After my old mattress anything would be nice but in all honesty its fantastic- had some really good nights sleep.

After just 2 years the mattress we purchased has developed holes all over. After contacting the manufacturer we were unhelpfully told this was wear and tear. Not accepting this, we asked for a home visit to undertake a survey and report. The visit could not identify any misuse and did not believe it was wear and tear, however, he also said he couldn't put it down to a manufacturing fault, therefore leaving us in limbo. Completely unacceptable and poor customer service. The mattress was purchased form a reputable company, Glasswells, and they have been just as unhelpful.
Purchased a purity 2000 from a local bed company “comfort beds” Walsall wood. We were sold the mattress being told that it was great support, hard supportive sides, and a fantastic company! What an absolute lie! Not a massive surprise that when, like ALL THE OTHER negative reviews our ridge in the middle appeared with huge massive empty patches, to the point where you cannot even lie flat but at a tilted angle, we were told that because we are in year 2 of our “5 year warranty” (by 1month may I add) that we have to pay 40% of the value of the mattress to have it replaced?! WOW I have to pay to fix a mattress that is of such bad quality that you have to take paracetamol before going to bed so you don’t wake up with back aches. Bare in mind I paid £699 for a mattress alone. Can I please inform you all reading this that under consumers act 2015 if an item sold is not fit for purpose and not of satisfactory, or as discribed, then you are entitled to a refund or a replacement. I’ll be contacting citizens advise in the morning this is disgusting! Imagine buying something to have to pay again after 2 years to have it replaced when it is faulty and NOTHING like it was described. What a misleading company. You might as well change your warranty to 1 year then people can actually see what kind of quality you serve instead of misleading people into a scam purchase, who then have to pay to replace. Also for year 3+ 60% and 4+ years 80%.
I would rather donate the mattress then give highgrove any more money. I will make sure that everyone reads their t&c before getting trapped like we did. What a scam company
We purchased a highgrove Albany 2000 and after about 15 months there was obvious ridge in middle and sides lost shape. The two of us ended up in agony, was just so uncomfortable! At £700 to say I'm disappointed at 15 months use is an understatement. Do not recommend this mattress at all, 1 year warranty is a disgrace for something that is supposed to last 8 years.
I had an issue with my old mattress and was hoping to purchase a new one. Spoke to a lovely young lady in customer services who was extremely helpful in finding the perfect mattress for me. She answered all my questions very well- even the weird ones! Thank you Sophie, your recommendation has meant I enjoy a full nights sleep, and don’t want to get out of bed in the morning! The quality and finish is Superb and value for money! Recommending to all my friends and family. Thank you highgrove and thank you Sophie
I loved my Radiance 1500, at first! Comfy and a good night's sleep, so I am not surprised about the good reviews on this site. Have you noticed that ALL the good reviews are for newly purchased beds/mattresses. But just wait a couple of years and the ridge down the middle that so many complain of will develop. The saving grace is that my wonderful bed retailer successfully claimed a replacement from Highgrove, so we'll see how long this one will last.
I am led to believe that memory foam mattresses all suffer from sagging eventually, so don't think I'll go for memory foam, even a pillow top, next time round. Springs for me.....
This is the 2nd highgrove mattress, the first was eventually swapped out for a different highgrove, 10 months on the same has occurred. There is a ridge all the way down the middle of the mattress, The initial cost of the bed was just shy of £1000, you expect to get reasonable quality, I have complained to the bed shop where it was purchased, he has agreed to swap it out, It amazes me this company can get away with such awful products, my old bed and mattress a rest assured was far superior, I would never suggest purchasing from this company, all I long for is a descent nights sleep!!!! I dread going to bed
In the last month. I have bought 2 beds both were ottoman and both were substantial quality and 4 mattresses, all were the 1000 pocket ones. I can tell you right now these a high quality mattersses, I was worried that my grandparents wouldn't like them as I bought them impetuous but they love them. My nana had trouble sleeping before waking up every other hour but now she's sleeping through which is really good because life is not good when you can't sleep!!
Highly recommended. I have read some of these reviews and I really don't know where they are coming from as I have had no trouble with this company.
We bought our Highgrove matress over a year ago. It was almost £500.
The matress was good for about six months. Now after contacting the store who passed on our complaint to the manufacturer we are left with a very poor product. The matress leaves us very uncomfortable. We are lying on holes and the springs dip and the top of the matress feels like the springs have collapsed. No position is comfortable and whether one person or two are in The bed the matress offers roll together. Do not buy this product the customer service is zero. The manufacturer has rejected our claim from a photograph alone.
Stay clear. Overpriced matress that doesnt last that isnt as comfortable as a 99 pound budget matress.
Did have someone contact me after last review but only to ask me to take it down. They are not interested in my problem with the mattress
I am looking for a mattress and noticed these bad reviews for Highgrove we have had a Highgrove Emerald mattress for over ten years (I bought it quite cheap - probably from Ebay or something like that) and it is still in really good condition, so I can vouch for the quality of at least one of their mattresses. I am only looking for a new one because you are meant to change them every so many years (we were skint so couldn't) and because I would like one with memory foam as I am a side sleeper.
We bought a Highgrove Inspiration 1500 just over 4 years ago. At first due to the age of my husbands mattress this one felt amazing however it took a long time for the smell to disperse. Slowly over time a ridge has developed down the centre and there are hollows where our bodies have laid, worse on my husbands side as he is heavier. I now wake several times during the night to reposition myself due to the pain in my lower back and hip.
I would not recommend this mattress to anyone
I wouldn't actually give one star if I didn't have to. About the worst customer service we've ever had! Ordered a base, mattress and headboard a month ago. Paid for through a local bed shop on 28th July. We finally have a base and mattress (although Highgrove sent two left hand side bases), but still no headboard. The bed shop were getting nowhere so we phoned them ourselves. Beyond useless, basically. No apology, no explanation given for the delay, no idea of when it will arrive, and not willing to let us speak to someone else. So you have our payment, but a month later, we don't have the complete order and we don't know why. Trading Standards next, I think. Avoid Highgrove like the plague!

I have just purchased and had delivered a Highgrove Straithmore 1000 pocket single mattress,
with the helpand support of the sales assistant in the shop she said it would be perfect for me, i spent a whopping £300.
Now i am aching all over my lower back is especially very sore and i discovered last night that there are large knubs of fabric that i think must cover or replace buttons stick out especially when you lie down on your back, one in particularis digging into my back.
I ended up having to sleep on top of my quilt to get any sleep at all and looks like i am going to have to get a topper or permanently sleepon a quilt.
i only wish i had seen these reviews before i would not have chosen HIGHGROVE.

We bought a Highgrove Latex Inspiration 3000 series bed around 2.5 years ago. The first mattress from the bed went back as the surface went to holes. The second mattress has had uncomfortable ridges in it since the day it came and again the surface fabrics has gone to holes. Will never buy this brand of bed again.

We spent £980 on a Highgrove Advantedge Purity 3000 double mattress and divan only three and a half years ago. It has been by far the WORST bed we have ever had.
Don’t be fooled by the glowing reviews from people who have only had their bed for a few weeks. We felt the same about our bed when we first got it however over the past 12 - 18 months we noticed a ridge developing down the middle of the mattress which is now so large that it physically tips us away from the centre of the mattress towards the edge. There are two significant sagging spots in the mattress where we lie despite it being rotated regularly. When sat on, the sides of the mattress in the area where the mattress is sagging, distort outwards far more than the foot of the bed indicating weakness in the mattress.
We have had other family members lie on the bed and without prompting, they have all made the same observations about the ridge and sagging.
The sagging area is causing my wife to have lower back and neck pain and to have to change position several times a night which is something that did not happen when the bed was new. The bed has also caused me to have a severe episode of back pain which has given me considerable pain in my lower back and numbness in my leg.
The divan base seems to be very cheaply made and almost flimsy. It only has three thin supporting slats and a piece of hardboard on the top which flex a lot when the already heavy mattress is lay on. Why the top of the divan base needs to flex that much when the mattress is so thick is questionable. The first support slat is eleven inches from the side of the frame causing the hardboard to bulge downwards and the mattress to have what appears to be insufficient support when the edge of the bed is sat on. It would appear that this can only be contributing to the sagging of the mattress.
It’s worth noting that other companies who are, or at least attempt to appear to be interested in their customers opinions, by responding to reviews. At the date of writing this review, Highgrove have not responded to a single review, good or bad, on Trustpilot or on Google reviews. Numbers of reviews mention poor or completely non-existent customer service.
There are only a relatively small number of reviews for Highrove in comparison to many other bed manufacturers and with so many of these reviews being negative (including numbers of reviews describing exactly the same faults as our bed), I would strongly advise anyone to order a bed from a company with far higher levels of customer satisfaction reviews.
Highgrove are a UK company and I constantly try to buy UK products so it pains me to say this but, I can only come to the conclusion that Highgrove are a second rate manufacturer with poor quality products.

Well its been over a year since we purchased this mattress Purity 2000 cost over £500. Nothing has changed from my original review. We still wake up with aches and pains something we didn't have with the previous mattress. The sides are dipping and you roll into the middle. Wouldn't buy a mattress from them again and are having to look at buying another when I thought we had bought the perfect mattress.

I recently purchased a 5 bed house and needed beds for all 5 rooms. My local retailer stocked a lot of Highgove beds and i am so happy i went with this company. All mattresses, divans and 2 ottomans are amazing. Would 1000% recommend.
Just purchased a Lincoln king size 2000 mattress from Highgrove Beds, their service was second to none and delivery on time, would definitely recommend this company and use them myself again.
