No first letter received
Would have liked to give 0 stars. Just got a reminder today from company mentioned before. Reminder was issued on 04/05/23 so eight days before (postal time usually is about 2-5 days I reckon). Never got a first letter. I've parked in a retail park for three hours without noticing it's just up to two hours bcs I couldn't see the signs. I parked in front of Costa where no signs have been in general. They were just on the car park itself sidelong so I couldn't see them when I headed to Costa. I never had a chance to pay the lower fine so I won't pay this one either. My friend also didn't get the first letter but he paid the full amount. They are just muggers
Stand and deliver
So if you pay online £1.50 admin charge KERCHING If you pay by phone 2p per minute charge KERCHING if you pay by cheque £ 2.50 admin charge KERCHING BANDITS and I get paying for parking but this was a hospital over sight and the fine has been paid it's the blatant banditry.
Disgusted
Disgusted - same as lots of other people on this site - got a letter clearly timed to arrive after the period for the lower penalty has expired. Pure Dick Turpin organisation. Highway robbery … literally !!
Can't give zero stars
Can't give zero stars. Just received a legal action pending notification for parking in a hospital carpark for 35 min when the sign says i have two hours. they didn't send the first two reminders (or at least i didn't receive them) so apparently the time to appeal the ticket has passed. this company has done exactly the same to a friend, missing the first two reminders. I am disgusted and will be taking this up with the medical center and if not satisfied following up with FOI to see how many complaints the medical center has received.
Vile Company
One star only because you can't give zero.
I received a PCN from this company yesterday 20/4/23 for overstaying at a car park on 29/3/23 I had only 5 days to to pay the lower rate including a weekend. I have paid it today by phone (and yes several bits of data I had to put in several times). Hopefully that will be an end to it but after reading the reviews I am not so sure. I don't understand how companies like this are allowed to operate I think I feel a call to trading standards coming on.
Tried to pay supposed parking fine…
Tried to pay supposed parking fine which actually took 2 weeks for them to post out leaving me literally 24 hours to pay the lower fare. Rang today (day after I recieved the letter only to be told twice I had entered the wrong parking charge number (as I know I hadn't ) becouse I entered it twice very carefully. The number is a premium number (surprise surprise) Tried online with partner only to have the same problem. This company are nothing but crooks hiding under a stone trying hard to make the biggest profit they can.
Notice received when period for lower penalty had expired!
Looks like this company send out notices timed to arrive after the period for the lower penalty has expired - see also Sarah’s review, similar dates.
In this case wife overstayed on 17/3/23. Notice dated 31/3/23 arrived 18/4/23, too late to pay reduced rate.
No recent or current postal strike.
Appeal submitted
Will update
Pcn arrived 14 days after letter date!!!!
Got a parking charge for being 8 minutes over the 3 hours at a shopping destination. The letter requiring payment was dated 31/03/23. It arrived 14/4/23. The last date for payment at the lower rate was 14/4/23 - that same day!!!!!. Yes I overstayed, yes I've paid it because I can't be bothered with the hassle of not paying/fighting.....
The 2 week window for lower fee payment is absolutely not enough. I received mine at 5pm in the post on the 'last day for payment' at lower rate. Another day and it would have been the higher fee. Not fair at all.
Won't be using that car park again as the 3 hour limit for the location is too short.
Deliberately delaying notices so no 14day period
On 12 April 2023 I received a charge notice in the post. The notice date of issue is 30 March 2023 relating to a overstay on 22 March 2023. No date stamp on envelope to prove when posted but only allowed 1 day to make a prompt payment for early charge. I've tried twice to make a phone payment but system doesn't recognise my Charge number so won't allow any payment. I will now try online at an additional cost of £2.50. I think they are trying to get additional money by delaying notices and deliberately fixing the system!!!
Nurse at work
My nurse partner has got 3 tickets off these while at work at the hospital. She has a permit we have tried to contact this company and no reply. Not sure where we go from here crazy.
I just received a ticket for parking in Asdas Edmonton, at the time we looked round the ticket or signs to find information to pay, and my friend and could not find anything. On the 27th of March I re
1. Your signage is not up to spec. Where is the machines in Asdas car park?
2. You are out of time, within 14 days only.
3. You have back dated the form illegally, as I can prove you have backdated the form as the envelope has a record of when you sent it. As an ex Post Office employee, you have committing postal fraud.
4.I tried to put a review on line but 200 characters to say a true report is clearly not enough.
5. I have read some other reviews of your company and find it incredible that haven't been sued yet. Then you haven't seen me yet in court? With my knowledge of Postal Law and my experience of sueing larger companies than yourself I'm looking forward to seeing you in court, it will be easy, will also try to revoke your postal aggrement with Royal Postal. Also I want your landlords to tear your contract up. How can a legal abiding company do business with a scam of a company like yours, you are ruining their business and reputation, committing fraud everyday. Taking money off pensioners and the disabled of their hard earnt money, aren't you ashamed of yourself???
Sadly there isn't lower rating than 1…
Sadly there isn't lower rating than 1 star.
Because this company have the following issues.
1, they do not communicate with there sub category parking firms. Question in point you pay for parking but still get fined by highview.
2, There telephone numbers are pointless because even through they say "calls can be recorded for monitoring and training purposes" its fully automated with NO human advises "disgrace
3, While submitting an appeal trying to send jpeg images of proof is not allowed..... because it states that jpegs are not acceptable???????
*note send pdf converted instead *
For a simple mix up of parking when parking was paid direct to highview/Groupnexus sending you a pcn anyway. This company is a disgrace with no communication made easy, and in fact no communication with its parking outlets.
The fact that I paid for parking and have my receipt and that this information was not passed is a fraudulent act of which I will be following up legally.
Appalled
Appalled. This company rejected my evidence without reply after I had official permission to park. They took the full legal route and ultimately with their crooked legal partners made sure they stuffed me for a lot of money. Their 'partners' failed to correspond properly after I was coerced and bullied into mediation at court, having to admit something I hadn't done, otherwise I was told I would lose the case anyway. Taking the food out of people's mouths to feed their own greed, shocking and inhuman.
I got a debt recovery letter 4 years after resolving PCN
I got a debt recovery letter that for an incident in April 2019! Haven't moved same address etc. At the time they had accidentally issued 2 PCN's for the same incident, I was the one who had to point this out to them. They assured me at the time that they would be linked and everything was resolved. Imagine 4 years later getting a threatening letter. Now they expect me to prove it was resolved when they are the ones with historical records that can show the link and the evidence. I thought I had done with this incompetent and unscrupulous company, now here we go again.
Bullies
Bullies! Shouldn't even get 1 start. 100% useless company! My Popla appeal was rejected (not suprised from seeing their reviews) I have spoke to Reef Parking aka Parkjockey, who have confirmed with me that they have requested for the PCN to be cancelled on 05 Jan 2023 and to ignore any further follow up from now as the cancellation process has started. So why am I receiving a letter from Highview Parking (dated 21 Feb 2023) today starting I have 28 days to pay and because I didn't pay the fine they've bumped it to £160?! It took them a whole 10 days for it to be delivered to my house.
In what world is this acceptable, the company that owns the carpark has stated that they are cancelling the PCN so why is this company trying to threaten me? I have time for this company, we can go to court and waste everyones time.
I hope this company goes bankrupt
I hope this company goes bankrupt! Evil company in the world.
This company are crooks
This company are crooks, they even fine customers who can demonstrate they have the right to park in Asda Edmonton with receipt bcos that stupid machine failed to register my vehicle number. They accepted i had right to park after my appeal, but requested i paid £20 for administrative purposes. Who does that? They just employ bully tactics expecting customers to pay. Legal letter, i did not recrive. Even a without prejudice now they have send the case to debt collectors because I declined to pay the £20 administrative fee. I will see your company in court. And I will take the matter up with my local MP.
Hungry looking company with no sane person working there. Thieves!!!!
Highview Parking Nightmare
I have shopped at the Asda Store Edmonton N9 0AL for years. On Saturday 03/09/22 me and my niece attended the store. As usual I parked in Edmonton Green South Car Park. I am very much aware of the parking rules at that location, and, as I always do, I entered my car registration number into the parking terminal in the Asda store and received the usual messsge "Your parking has been sucessfully validated"
To my surprise on 28/09/22 (three and a half weeks after shopping at Asda) I received a Parking Charge Notice (Ref.2000012174683) from Highview Parking stating that I was illegally parked on their clients property at Edmonton Green Car Park on 03/09/22 for a duration of 1hr and 7 minutes. I appealed the Charge straight away as I was not prepared to accept it due to what would appear to be a gliche in the parking system. On 12th Oct I received an email from Nexus Appeal (in response to my email of 28/09/22 appealing the charge) stating that they are willing to consider the status of the Charge if I provide evidence (receipt, bank statement or similar) that I was a customer at the Asda store on 03/09/22 WITHIN 14 days from the date of their email (12/10/22). Neither me nor my neice had retained our shopping receipts. My neice paid for her goods by cash and since I paid for the items I purchased by debit card, I contacted my bank and requested a copy of my bank statement.
I emailed the bank statement (redacted) to Nexus Appeal on 24th Oct 23:59:41 (within the 14 days timeframe they allowed for receipt of the documentary evidence). The statement clearly shows the payment for the items I bought at Asda (03/09/22) having been debited from my account the following Monday (05/09/22). Despite providing my bank statement within the timeframe they stipulated, on 03/11/22 I received an email stating that I have not provided any evidence to support my claim that I was a customer of the Asda store on 03/09/22 and that my representation has been rejected, however they are still willing to reconsider the status of the Charge should sufficient evidence of my claim be provided. They added that they will hold the charge at £50 for a further 14 days from the date of their email (03/11/22). I immediately emailed them providing a copy of my email of 24th Oct. On 28/11/22 I received a Parking Charge Reminder (dated 18/11/22) stating the charge payable is now £90 and if payment is not made within 14 days an initial debt recovery charge will be incurred. I responded to this parking charge reminder by sending a letter the next day (29th) to Highview Parking via 'Signed for Delivery'.
I am now being chased by Debt Recovery Plus for £160.
The fact that I provided a copy of my bank statement on 24/10/22 proving that I was a customer of the Asda Store on 03/09/22 has been completely ignored by Highview Parking and their so called appeals process.
Although this matter has placed me under great stress (especially at this time when my older brother has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Cancer) and has impacted my mental well-being, I am prepared for Highview to take me to COURT in order to resolve the matter.
To say this whole experience has been a nightmare is putting it very lightly.
