The HiQ Dover franchise manager - Martyn - is a con artist who sells damaged cars under HiQ branding and then tries to block the customer and claim private sale when they question it. Faulty breather hose and then bodge job body work all discovered in less than 30 days. Will be raised with HiQ head office and legal action to follow. Excited to see the look on his face when the melt has to compensate me😇

EDIT: This IS a review about my personal experience at the business. I've emailed customer service, and the Dover premises directly. No response. Sort it out.

The previous review was REMOVED after you reported it for containing the managers surname, because you would rather remove the review than deal with the fact your manager is conducting sales under the companies branding fraudulently. Every other negative review mentions Martyn and Lee by name. If this review is an issue, report those too.

A solid MOT testing process. Car maintenance in last 6 months has been excellent from HI Q Wellingborough. Their advice is accurate, and cost effective.

Again another great service !! Found out my MOT was expired late Friday afternoon spoke with Alex from Aylesbury branch and he got me in on the Saturday had a couple of issues from this and he said we can do this for today and the price of labour was very reasonable. Used Alex and team now for both cars and will continue to use these guys for mine and my partners car never let me down.

Had 4 new tyres for my RAV 4 from the Worcester branch.

I've been taking my car to Hi-Q Nuneaton for over 20 years now & have always found the staff very helpful, friendly & efficient. They go above & beyond for their customers & their costs are always fair. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Avoid Towcester HiQ. Really bad Management and customer care! Car booked in 2 weeks prior for an air-condition service and refill. Dropped in for 11am on day of appointment and came back at 4.30pm to collect. Told to wait. Then 5.10pm told that the car was not ready as they had no gas to fill up as run out during the day and delivery too late now for a 3 hour window to test if any leaks. So told the care has to be rebooked in. Rebooked in for 3 days later. Dropped off at 8.30am. Could not get in as main gate locked and then Manager arrived 10 minutes later to open it. Staff all waiting about other than being ready for customers, so another 5 mins to have "the computer system warm up"...then within 30 mins they rang to tell me the car needs to be booked in for diagnostic not service as they found a leak on Tuesday. I told them this was not what I was told by reception 3 days prior. They then said they could not do it until sometime the following week when we get more gas. Blame was placed by the reception on the person who "was not in today". Chaotic! aHead Office really need to get a focus on customer care and have the Manager of this Towcester HiQ trained how to run a proper business.

I honestly cannot recommend these guys enough.

I had never used them before as my mam found them and asked if they did MOTs. I dropped my car off before work because they are just around the corner from my office and thought I would have an easy day… drop the car off, go to work, pick it up on the way home. Nice and simple. The reception area had a personality and it felt welcoming from the start.

Well… my car had other ideas and failed its MOT.

Stu gave me a call to explain what had failed and give me a quote. I will be completely honest, I had absolutely no idea what he was talking about. It all sounded very car-y, and I only speak basic “petrol goes in, car goes forwards”. So I got my mam to ring him and ask him to explain it to her instead and then she translated it for me! He was more than happy to go through everything again, never made us feel awkward and never once acted like we were questioning it. He was genuinely lovely.

One thing I really appreciated was how honest they were. I think a lot of people get nervous going to garages because you hear horror stories about people being overcharged, especially if they do not know much about cars. I never felt like that for a second. Everything felt fair, straightforward and there was no pressure. Whether you know nothing about cars like me or know exactly what you are talking about, they will look after you.

To make things even better, they managed to get everything fixed the very same day, exactly as I’d hoped.

Then came my own contribution to the chaos. I got dragged into a meeting at work, completely lost track of time and turned up over two hours late to collect my car. I was convinced I would be walking up to locked doors, apologising to my car for abandoning it and booking myself a taxi home.

Instead, Donna had waited for me and honestly could not have been kinder. She was so understanding and never made me feel guilty, despite the fact I probably deserved a gentle telling off!

A huge thank you to Stu, Donna and the whole team. I know exactly where I’ll be taking my car from now on… although hopefully it gives me a few months off before we all meet again!

Very helpful. Pleasant and cheerful staff Great service. Did some of the advisory items from MOT on the same day so that I didn't need to book in on another day and kept me updated. Always really helpful and eager to assist.
