Order ready for collection in under an hour. Pleasant staff; good service.

Such a kind gesture by the team member, that I was bought to tears! I am absolutely gutted that I didn’t catch the name of this gentleman that works at this store, however his kind gesture meant the absolute world. Myself & my partner have a little boy, who is 1, and was struggling with his teething, we had the day from hell and was stressed! We made our last stop to Homebase before we headed home. Whilst in the store, this gentleman must’ve heard our little boy crying and immediately rushed over. He greeted us and our little boy and made him laugh! He told us he also had 2 small children and knew how hard it is to take them out, especially when they are not feeling 100% to which he immediately offered to run around the store for us and collect all the product we needed/wanted to save us trying to rush around with our son. This may seem like a small gesture to some people, however my god, it meant the absolute world! From having a horrid day and being so, so stressed to having a stranger offer such kindness to help us out, was incredible and I really want to thank him again for being so kind! I really do hope this message gets passed onto him. He gave us the light at the end of the tunnel/stressful day, so thank you! He was medium height, slim build and had short (I think spiked up) hair! The absolute best customer service I have EVER received and everyone should lead by his example! A true gent.

Quite simply our experience in store was made great by Malcolm as his cheery smile and chatty nature made us feel valued, like the first customer he had seen that day. He is a credit to you and your store!

The colour of paint I wanted I couldn't find in any major store. Think The colour chart I had was out of date! The paint mix lady searched and then helped me find the nearest colour match and mixed it for me. Lovely, helpful staff will visit again soon, thank you ladies

Steve at the Chester store was outstanding, we purchased a side table flat pack that had damaged parts when we came to build it. When we went back to exchange it there was no hassle and he even offered to go and collect a replacement item from another store for us. That really is going above and beyond 👏🏼

The items I ordered where only available for click and collect. I was ill on the day so unable to go myself.so my wife and daughter went. On arrival two assistants where close to till. My wife asked if Joe was available, as he had phoned to say the larger cube unit was only arrailable from display. I said OK. Joe said he would put in store area. The young man said I'm Joe. He took my wife to the click and collect area, then went into store area. My wife was asked first by a female and then a man assistant if she needed help, she explained Joe was sorting everything thank-you. Joe returned with the the larger display cube unit, assisted by the male assistant. He returned for store area with second and placed it on trolley. The larger one Joe carried to car and then assisted my wife and daughter to put them in car. How kind. Thank you Joe.
