My partner had this SPRAYFOAM put in
2 years ago and now cannot sell his house. This was not addressed during the sale Its all a big scam and has made some people very very wealthy!! We had replies from the company saying about the new protocol since March 2023 ect and it would solve everything and convince surveyers to accept spray foam , but this is also a scam Surveyers are not taking any notice of this paperwork they will still reject a mortgage or equity release, if you have spray foam in your roof. I have done thorough research and spoke to a few surveyers and building societies .AND THATS THE TRUTH This paperwork will make no difference as the company promise .The surveyers are not really taking notice. Also the spray foam was sprayed into the eaves which told by a surveyor should never be done The eaves need a ventilation gap as there is a risk of condensation ect Home logic give the same answer about this new paperwork but it made absalutely no difference to us We have no choice but remove the foam if we want to sell. There is no other explanation
Weve been down that road Believe me no mortgage company will touch spray foam. You will have to have it removed if
you want to sell.. Otherwise a cash buyer might accept your house but even then they will knock down the asking price Its all a big scam it's been on the tv and the papers.
Polite cleaned up after .
Quick response arrived in morning and all done by afternoon.
Unpleasant experience dispite not even…
Unpleasant experience dispite not even having anything done. Filled in the online form ‘to check if I was legible for a voucher’. Straight after realised it was just a marketing ploy. Having seen some reviews on here decided I definitely wouldn’t be using this company. When the sales rep called me he went from a warm attitude to quite rude when he realised he wouldn’t be getting anything out of me. Tried to get him to remove my details from their database and still don’t know if they’ve done that
Successful insulation and on time
We agreed a price after they had a look and surveyed my roof. Luckily they had operatives in my area and were able to start the following day. The team arrived at the agreed time did the work that was required, moving my “junk” around and completed the job by mid afternoon. The team were very tidy and did not leave any mess. There was a follow up call by after sales a couple of days later to see if I was satisfied. I was. Would have no trouble in recommending Home Logic.
Don't believe them!
After being promised a £20 M&S voucher for agreeing to a consultation about damp proofing my walls, I'm still waiting for it!
I was offered a no obligation quotation…
I was offered a no obligation quotation for expanded foam loft insulation. The sales representative who visited my home was polite and well mannered and carried out his assessment efficiently, however the dialogue which he described as obligatory, which also included an offer of what would appear to be a substantial discount was over sold, as most consumers are aware discounts are in the main irrelevant because the margins a firm wants to achieve are already predetermined. The bottom line price quoted eventually was not an investment for me as I calculated that it would take me at least 11 years to achieve any savings, based on the energy saving that the representative quoted, which he suggested was up to 40%. I had made it clear I was likely to sell my current property in 5 years, therefore it wasn't an investment for me. The representative then made a call to his sales manager in front of me, even though I had politely declined his quotation, my guess is to potentially offer a further discount in the hope I would sign up there and then. The final straw for me was when I further declined the offer, I clearly heard the sales manager or whoever the representative was talking to, say 'why had I booked the appointment in the first place as if I had wasted their time. I agreed to an no obligation quotation which they had advertised. That comment was outrageous and unprofessional.
Great service and great product
Great service and great product. Friendly people, who worked quickly & efficiently. I didn’t have to move anything in the loft. It only took a few of hours from start to finish. They cleared up after themselves, though there was very little mess. I have noticed a difference in my house retaining heat already. I am very pleased and highly recommended Home Logic.
A very disappointing engagement with this company
We had used Home Logic before for loft insulation.Th installation was problematic. However we responded to a cold call re u PVC window replacement. We needed work done. We explained that although it was February we wouldn't be available for window installation until September . We were assured that this was perfectly satisfactory. We paid £1012 deposit in February 2024, measurements were taken 4th March 2024 and arrangements for fitting were made for 23rd September. Since we had heard nothing we inquired, to be told that the person who organised this had left, they had no record of the fitting and the units weren't even ready. In addition BECAUSE we live on the Isle of Wight , IF we proceeded with the order, we would then have to wait until there was a further installation to be done on the Island so they could be done together otherwise they would lose money. We were advised to cancel which, rather annoyed, we did. Further correspondence from Home Logic has implied the WE had initiated the cancellation and they were "very sorry that you have decided to cancel"
They seek for trade on the Isle of Wight but will only deliver on their terms. Whats more, although we have received the sum we paid for the deposit, no offer of interest on this sum has been offered.
This information is complete. I have written a letter to Home Logic saying much the same and they have the copy of their letter to me.

To whom it may concern,
I am addressing you impersonally echoing the impersonal address you have made to me.
In your letter you indicate that I cancelled an order made with deposit paid, on 26th February 2024. In fact, YOU cancelled the delivery of the order because it was indicated that coming to the Isle of Wight for 1 order wasn’t cost effective.
Following cold calling by your representative earlier this year, we agreed to have several windows and window units replaced. A deposit was paid on 26.2.24. It was stressed at that time that we would not be ready to have the work done before September of this year. Assurances were given and this was confirmed following telephone discussion with your office that a fitting was scheduled for 23rd September 2024.Measurements were taken on 4.3.24 and we heard nothing else from you.
The service received has been inadequate, as a firm you have had £1012 of my money for 7 months and no recompense for interest lost has been received. Furthermore, I have received the impression that I am regarded as a bit of a nuisance cancelling my order when, in fact, it was your firm who cancelled the order for rather inadequate reasons.
I will, certainly, never use your services again, nor will I recommend Home Logic to anyone, especially those living on the Isle of Wight who clearly cause you great inconvenience to your firm.
Yours in disgust

Overall a very professional & competent company...
I had a my loft insulated with the latest foam spray technology..& it didn't take more than a couple of hours to do.Both workmen were very efficient, quick , professional & tidy..I couldn't recommend them more!
Salesman that dealt with me, Jamal..was also very knowledgable ,kind & understanding..giving me many options of paying & facts of the future savings.
Going forward, I think that most peoples homes will benefit from the relatively low payment to ensure that they will save on their future heating bills, for decades to come.
A very good job done, by very good people..
Thanks to them & hope they keep up the great work!
I Changed my mind about having my loft…
