Felt comfortable with the people we dealt with

my new Skoda has a fault. I repotted this to the salesman I purchased the car from the day after I received the car. He said I can use any Skoda garage to get the repair done. I’m very disappointed its not getting dealt with in a timely manner. The first garage I phoned (because it’s next to my place of work for convenience) was west end Skoda in Dunfermline. They said they can’t get the car booked in for repair until the 10/12/25. They also advised I phoned the garage I bought the car from (John Clark Skoda Dundee) as the car was straight out the showroom. So I phoned Dundee Skoda and they have booked the car in for the 17/11/25. In the meantime the car is making a creaking grinding noise coming from the passenger front wheel (spring). This has ruined the experience of purchasing a brand new car. I’m very disappointed with this hole situation.

A wonderful man named Kerry helped us pick out my dream car, he explained everything to us and went above and beyond for us.

From the initial call asking about a car, Kerry was very helpful, sending through a video of the car inside and out which made it very easy to decide to make the journey down from Aberdeen to view the car. On arrival car was ready to go, paperwork set, Kerry did the transfer quickly and professionally, went over the car with us and a follow up call the following day asking how the drive back was and if I was happy with the car.

Could not have had a better experience, overall very happy with the service.

From my first enquiry in the showroom to handover, Jenna was first class. Couldn’t have asked for a better sales person. Would highly recommend her to other friends and relatives.

Found the salesman to be friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. He explained options to me clearly and answered my questions. As the buying process progressed he kept me updated with what was happening. I was happy with the service provided.

The only negative I would add relates to the IT system. A few documents needed to be amended but when staff made amendments , this wasn’t necessarily reflected in what I could see when I went in to my portal. Eventually the portal had to be reset.

The whole team were great, including the salesperson in used cars, where we initially looked. In the end we bought new. Jenna, who handled our sale, was friendly, patient, knowledgable, and never pushy. I usually dread shopping for a car, but this was a first-rate experience all round.

From the moment we first arrived in the showroom to our final visit to collect our new car, we were made to feel incredibly welcome by all staff we encountered.
Customer service was outstanding and from Steven Rodger, our sales advisor, was exceptional. Without any pressure whatsoever, he was unbelievably helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and professional throughout the whole process.
Collection of our new car was also made to feel special, with a warm welcome displayed on screen in the showroom and the car gleaming!
Steven also spent a considerable time with us in the car, explaining/demonstrating the "infotainment" system which we very much appreciated.
We are also delighted with the overall final cost - in our opinions, extremely reasonable and competitive against other similar spec vehicles of different makes.
All in all, for once, buying our new car was enjoyable!
We are so far thrilled with our new Kamiq Montecarlo!

Would've given 5 stars, Andy the salesmen was excellent. The delivery of the car was way beyond what i expected. Unfortunately, one tyre is 3mm. Not ideal.

Dealing with John Clark Skoda Dundee was a great experience because, everything was dealt with in a friendly but professional way. Customer care is obviously of great importance, from the polite manner of the receptionists at the front door, through to the sales staff and site manager in the showroom. Dealing face to face was a pleasure and everything I asked about was answered clearly. The paperwork, though necessary, was not traumatic, with staff helping where needed. Bought a 2 year old Mercedes noticed the front had a scrape on the passenger side when I picked it up. Washed it today only to find the back has a scrape as well. The passenger door has a bad key scratch as well. Disappointed £36,000 for a car and it was put out like that!

Began our 'new car' journey here, in mid August.
Left the showroom with a new car,mid September.
Very much a (hands off) approach by the sales team, allowing us lots of time to wander about and sit in lots of models,before asking if we needed any advice/assistance. Gave us a good Trade In price for our car. All in all.,,an easy going experience.
Top marks,especially to" Harry " our main salesperson.
Special mention for Joe,john,and Lee,also very helpful. Not forgetting the ladies at 'Reception'.

Steven is an excellent sales executive, he was able to answer all my questions, built a deal that suited my needs. I love my new car and it has everything I need.

We ordered our car in April with the understanding that it would be delivered by the first week in July at the very latest.It was agreed that you would buy my car before the end date of my current car agreement. That did not happen so I paid off the remaining money myself. I did not hear from the sales team by 8 th July so I phoned for an update. I was shocked to then be told it would not be delivered till mid September.i just wish they had advised me of the delay, I had to cancel a holiday we had planned and I needed the garage to service my car. Then I had a phone call suggesting I might like to collect my new car at midnight! When I collected my car I had agreed to an appointment of 12pm. We were kept waiting for 3/4 an hour. Finally it took a bout 2 hours to complete the necessary paperwork. I was told we would be handed back £2,100 that was agreed and understood by me. We finally left with the new car, but shortly after received a phone call to tell me all the paperwork had not been completed so the salesman arrived at our door at 5pm to get a further signature from me. The money I was promised was in my bank 5 days after I collected the car but it was £800 Les than I had been told it would be! While I like my Škoda veery much I feel the service from the team left a lot to be desired.

From my first contact with Steven at John Clark Skoda - Dundee, right through to ordering my new car and collecting it, Steven kept me fully informed, made me feel at ease at all times and made the whole end to end experience very positive.
