Relaxed and f
We were undecided on a couple of vehicles we had gone to see. Matthew patiently spent time with us going over our requirements and explained the specifics of each car. Giving us time to think about the vehicles before going through all the options available to us when we decided on the car we would like to buy. Service car before selling
When ever i have bought a car from a garage including john clark dunfermline car i bought has always had a service . The salesman a john clark where I have bought this car a vauxhall mokka told me car did not need a service because it was done 2 month ago which was a we bit surprised but thought ok car should be OK needless to say less than 2 weeks car broke down clogged up coolant pipe plus only getting 30 to gallon so decided to check airfilter and there is no way that was checked in service before all the it said it had been also to change air filter every 15000 miles car has done 32000 so a bit disappointing so car going in Monday so hope all problems get fixed

Matthew was great and no hard sell. I test drove the car on the Sunday and took delivery of it by the Wednesday.

Overall a good experience
Salesman very good and not pushy on first contact which is very important to me. Everything explained well and lead time of car was pretty much spot on. Finance person on handover day on the other hand was shocking and made my handover time excessive to say the least. He or she’s performance should be addressed. If it’s the process and not the person then the process needs fixing.

Know your customers and meet their needs.
I am known to the staff and managers and they are aware of my needs and try to meet them in the cars I buy - they do not 'push' for me to get more expensive, larger, more powerful cars (attractive though they are). I get the sense they are genuinely trying to help me be satisfied and not aspirational!

Great 5 star service
Great service, bought a used car from John ClarkPerth. Matthew's down to earth customer service was 5*. Very knowledgeable, patient and genuine. Went the extra mile to ensure a swift seemless transaction. Slight teething issie was resloved in no time. Would highly recommend. The service girls were also very polite and helpful.

Your salesman
Your salesman, Joe was very knowledgeable about the Skodninwanted to purchase and was a very manner able person. He didn’t pressure me to take anything I didn’t want. Once we did the deal on the car he explained all that I needed to know about the process of collecting the car. He phoned me the next day to see that I had got home safely with my car! Never had that before, a nice touch.
