Very poor customer service, never return phone calls, rude when you do manage to speak to someone, youre previous car finance takes ages to be settled, so prepare to pay another installment of your old car, even after you have signed it over to Renault. Shambles of a showroom in Aberdeen

From the first day when my wife and I visited the Showroom until the day we purchased our new Renault Magane we were made very welcome. The staff were very friendly and not too overpowering (which sometimes happens). The friendly atmosphere and the great Coffee machine helped 👍.
All of the staff we dealt with were knowledgeable, extremely courteous and very helpful.
All in all, I think that the friendliness of the staff helped make up our minds on the purchase of our new car !
The Megane itself is a super nice car to drive and we are happy that we bought this car.

We actually booked a test drive of the Renault 5 one weekend but turned up to be told that it wasn’t charged and we wouldn’t be able to test drive it after all. Having realised it was too small anyway, I returned separately to look at the clio. Given our first experience of having a test drive booked and not being able to go on it, I hadn’t booked for the Clio, and opted just to turn up. James was very helpful, informative and proactive when I was looking at the Clio. He provided all the relevant information for us to look at and contacted us often to see what our thoughts were. When we decided to proceed, the initial car we looked at had sold however James was able to source another Clio for us. Despite not collecting the car from James (he was on holiday), the process of trading in our old car and collecting the new car went extremely smoothly. We appreciate the efforts of all the staff who helped this to happen. We are loving the Clio, it is proving to be a practical, second car for our family and fits 2 sets of golf clubs and trolleys in the boot no bother! Thank you again.

Came in to look , wasn't intending to buy, saw a car liked it ,bought it, original salesman, was going on holiday, the car was ready within the week but only because I chased it, dealt with 3 different sales consultants, on pick up day, went home without my car as the finance company hadn't released the funding, something that I was told that was all sorted, picked the car up next day, lets hope the after service is better.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. What should have been a straightforward repair process has turned into nearly three months of delays, poor communication, unresolved faults, and extremely disappointing customer service.
We reported issues with the vehicle before collection, including a serious brake fault, radio issues, and warning system errors, yet the car was handed over without these being properly resolved. Since then, we have experienced constant delays, conflicting information, ignored emails and phone calls, and a complete lack of ownership from the service department.
The vehicle has been passed between departments and locations with no clear diagnosis or resolution. We were initially told the car required a new head unit, then later advised it only needed a software update and aerial. We were also informed incorrect parts had been ordered and that replacement parts were on indefinite back order.
Courtesy cars provided were handed over with empty fuel tanks and no screenwash, which only added to the frustration. The most unacceptable part of the experience was receiving a laughing emoji reaction from a member of staff in response to a complaint email — completely unprofessional given the circumstances.
After almost three months, the issues still remain unresolved and we have completely lost confidence in both the vehicle and the dealership’s ability to repair it properly. We are now pursuing returning the vehicle for a full refund.
Extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.
One month after posting my original review, I had hoped to be writing about a positive resolution. Unfortunately, the situation has only deteriorated
I am still experiencing the same issues, with repeated broken promises and poor communication.
Following my original complaint, the Service Manager agreed to provide me with updates twice a week, even if there was no progress to report, in an effort to rebuild my confidence after the poor communication I had already experienced.
Within two weeks of making that commitment, the agreed updates had stopped and I once again found myself having to chase for information. When I reminded the dealership of what had been agreed, my concerns were largely dismissed, with the response simply stating that they were chasing for updates but apologising that this had not been communicated properly. Unfortunately, this has become a recurring pattern throughout my experience.
What is perhaps most disappointing is the apparent lack of ownership from the Service Manager. Rather than taking responsibility for seeing this issue through, I was told that he has "60 other cars to deal with." Whilst I appreciate that service departments are busy, customers should still receive the level of communication and service that has been promised.
Even more concerning, the Service Manager also stated that he has "little confidence" in the vehicle specialist currently carrying out repairs to my car. If the dealership itself has little confidence in the specialist they have chosen, how am I, as the customer, supposed to have any confidence that my vehicle will finally be repaired correctly?
The vehicle has now been off the road for an unacceptable length of time, and the continued lack of communication, accountability and urgency has only reinforced my decision to seek the return of the vehicle.
I am now formally pursuing the return of the vehicle and a full refund, as I believe I have been more than patient in allowing the dealership every reasonable opportunity to rectify the faults. Despite this, the issues remain unresolved, and my confidence in both the vehicle and the dealership has been completely lost.
The greatest disappointment has not simply been the faults with the vehicle, but the complete lack of ownership, communication and customer care shown throughout. A dealership should be judged not by whether problems arise, but by how they respond when they do. Unfortunately, on this occasion, John Clark has fallen well short of the standard I expected. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend them.
