An excellent transaction
An excellent, very positive and swift purchase of a similar new Defender at completion of my current PCP Agreement, sourced ex-stock from another JCMG branch and transported to Pentland LR Perth, which was completed within 10 days from first contact to collection, including transfer of cherished registration number, settlement of existing PCP with Land Rover Financial Services, and dealership fitted extras, including swapping AS for AT tyres.

Very friendly garage with great product…
Very friendly garage with great product knowledge. I experienced excellent customer service from several members of the team, Mark, Dean & Tomas. Tomas was particularly patient and helpful with the spec on the Defender 90.
Regrettably my situation changed and I could no longer proceed with the vehicle, and I am truly gutted. I will however return as a customer & highly recommend to friends. You are in safe hands.

Service/ invoice issues
Paid £2000 for an annual service on my Jaguar F Pace at Pentland Perth. Usual free health care video check saying that I require new brake discs and pads, on getting a second option from a local garage was told discs and pads were fine. This has happened on every service occasion. With very few miles driven my dashboard was lit up like a Christmas tree, car in limp mode due to full exhaust filter and windscreen wash empty. The windscreen screen wash seems trivial but I was charged for screen wash on the invoice for the service. Having used the windscreen wash twice it took 4 1/2 litres to refill. Full diagnostic check, supposedly done did not pick up the exhaust filter was full or very close with the soot content. E mailed Marc and was asked if I had extended warranty which I didn't have, no apologies nothing. Then on follow up e mail was asked if I wanted car repaired, having said yes and asked if I could drive car in limp mode 1 week later iam still waiting on a reply. Also received voicemail/missed call from the branch manager Paul, phoned straight back but was not available. Phoned further 2 times leaving message with receptionist but 6 days on have not had a call back. Level of after care is non existant. For me they are no better than a back street garage,only difference being their inflated prices. Would not recommend Perth JLR to anyone.

Good guy is young Ross, knows his oats, which is just as well, being a Perthy Tuechter. Very helpfull when required.
They (Pentalnd) did all they could to make things happen, and would defo use them again.

Outstanding service from start to finish Dean was excellent to deal with and was extremely helpfull throughout. Was by far the best experience I have had when buying a car at the Perth branch. Will definitely be buying my next car from them.

Very poor . We bought the Discovery online without…
We bought the Discovery online without seeing it as we were three hundred miles away. We were assured that everything would be perfect and the couple of small dents and marks in the upholstery would be sorted for us.
So we travelled five hours to collect the car and I have never been so disappointed to collect a car ever. The back bumper was very scratched and there was an inch taken out of the boot lid. Also a dent the size of a 50 pence was glaringly obvious. The salesman who was very pleasant got the business manager who ( without looking at us ) just said it was a second hand car and what did we expect?
Perhaps more than this !! Yes it may have been a second hand car but it was £40k.
There was also no washer fluid in the car and the handover took place outside in the rain in the service bay rather than the handover bay inside the building.
Finally the week after we arrived home a tyre pressure warming came up. None of the tyres were at the correct pressure.
Altogether a very disappointing experience and I would not recommend this dealership
