A painful experience but it ended well.
The purchase process started really well with Pentland LR then it went horribly wrong (because of balls-ups and incentive deadlines missed at their end they then tried to put onto me and said they couldn't then sell me the car) but then after a lot of lengthy emails and telephone conversations, some other great guys there pulled it around again, thankfully. All's well that ends well, as they say. Happy with the car which is the main thing...

Service is shocking
It came across as though the salesperson could not be bothered with a female buying a car. Most of the conversations were directed at my husband not me. I have had the car 4 weeks and already there has been faults noted. The after care service is shocking. Phone calls not being returned within their given timescale and a lack lustre attitude does not make good business sense.

Three days after purchasing a two year…
Three days after purchasing a two year old Range Rover Evoque we noticed a poor cover up repair on the boot area. I know we should have checked the car more thorough but we are getting on in years & just put our faith in what we thought would be an excellent garage. Unfortunately this was not the case & when we reported it to David the Manager he wasn’t interested & although the repair would have cost the garage approx £150 on a £29,000 purchase they wouldn’t repair it. I am really disappointed in his response. We have used pentland in Edinburgh before & their service was excellent so we won’t be using Pentland Stirling again
I phoned Scot Martin as requested but total waste of time as he had no intention of listening to my concerns. Will get it fixed ourselves as Pentland Stirling must need £150 more than we do. As said previously Pentland in Edinburgh were excellent unfortunately I can’t say the same for their Stirling branch

Great Car Buying Experience at Pentland Land Rover Stirling
Whilst online shopping for a new car, I found an advert on the website for a spec of car that was due for arrival - rather than leaving it till there was photos etc posted I called the branch to enquire. I spoke with Stephen Rooney who was very helpful in providing me more info, as the car was just literally in the branch - its was yet to go through the full preparation but he was able to send me a video presentation of the car. I went to see the car in person that day and took it for a test drive, after then it was too good not to put down a deposit to secure the car, I got a great valuation on my current car to put down as a deposit. Fast forward 11 days later I was able to pick up my new car. Very pleased with the service and would be happy to recommend and buy again in future.

Bought new defender but they changed things last minute
Bought new defender sorted out fiance car was ready to pick up so arranged a date was all set until day before and they changed things ,so not happy as my part exchange had personal reg removed so I am out of pocket and still waiting for my deposit back

The salesman, Stephen Rooney, was very helpful and friendly, and carried out the admin tasks of arranging finance with Land Rover within the limited timescale. He also arranged dealer fit options to be put onto the new car and the whole sales side was painless for me as the client.

Defender 130 Purchase review
Mark Ramage the sales rep was engaging, knowledgeable, efficient and helpful at all stages of the purchase.
This would be a 5 star review but that the Landrover In Control App has not yet activated and I cannot therefore use any of its features. Mark contacted me today to check everything was OK and he said he would ask LR to address this issue.
