Our friendly and experienced rental team are based at our Ransomes Europark dealership and can offer a wide range of the latest Ford cars, people carriers, vans & minibuses for short or long term hire. Delivery and collection can be arranged, as can European hire and multiple drivers. Our competitive prices are fully inclusive and all of our short term rentals come with an unlimited mileage. Great price and service
Twice now John Grose have helped when we've needed to hire a vehicle, even at short notice. We have found their prices to be very competitive and service to be excellent and very friendly staff. We will go to them first if we need to hire again.

Why hire from an expensive van rental company, when your local Ford dealership has the right vehicle, readily available and at a great price.
We hired a Transit tailift van, with insurance and a £250 refundable deposit...did the job and saved me money!

Each visit we was sitting waiting to be seen to at the rentals ? Every body else about but the rentals , inside there tinted window office , at 8 am and we were only customers waiting ! Each time it took over an hr to go through paper work they had to print and copy are documents as we neither have or work in an office just phones ! Staff were ok just happy to leave us sitting there for an hr wondering what they were doing , apparently there office equipment was slow that day !

We do try to minimise the time customers have to spend when collecting a rental vehicle by sending them details of the various checks, driver details and documentation required ahead of time. However, we appreciate that not all customers are able or willing to take the time to prepare beforehand which can lead to delays, especially if a foreseeable issue such as driving licence eligibility then comes to light. Nice people, awful systems , s l o w slow service
Nice people individually , but truly awful customer experience , from dreadful “ live “ chat , to sending requests, waiting for call backs …. Rental is not important to the business, so it’s left slow , lots of “ sludge “ for customers .

We hired 3 mini-buses from John Grose. Their service was excellent from the admin side, the delivery of the buses the day before and collection afterwards and the hire costs. We will use them again.

Brilliant service and really nice van!
Hired a LWB transit from John Grose in Ipswich. The staff in the rental department were fantastic and really helpful, and the van itself was very tidy and just what we needed. Will definitely be using them again. Would highly recommend.

From booking to pick up and return everything went smoothly - was even reassured that I would be able to drive the transit easily despite never having driven one - and they were right. Really clean van, very easy to drive and lovely staff.

Car hire was excellent
Car hire was excellent, staff brilliant, comfortable, good on mileage, one exception was on pick up the car had not been cleaned, I had to return to my house and wash off all the bird poo on the rear window as it was extensive.
That was the only grumble otherwise it was the best choice for hire.
