Disgusting service
Unfortunately my own car developed a warranty fault, so John grose offered me a rental vehicle. All seemed well paid a deposit and off I went. Turns out the parts to repair my car will be 3 months, again wasn't an issue was told that I could keep the car until mine was ready.
Whilst driving their car around a month later a crack appeared in the windscreen, didn't think to much of it so called Ford rental expecting to have to pay an excess similar to my own insurance policy, £75, to my surprise they told me I would have to pay £500 excess! I had understood there was an excess if there was an accident which I entirely understood but to be expected to pay the same for something most other insurers cover for far less was incredible.
I was then told to contact Ford directly to complain.
They told me my complaint was with Ford rental not them so back I go and still have not got any further with my case.
Not only will I have been without my car for 3 months by the time the repair is complete I will also be £500 out of pocket.
To say I am disgusted is an understatement!
I wish I'd never agreed to a rental vehicle.

In instances where a customer requires a courtesy vehicle whilst a warranty repair is carried out, these are administered centrally by Ford Rental and provided to customers under their terms and conditions, with dealers such as ourselves simply asked to supply the vehicle. In line with many vehicle rental insurance policies, windscreen damage is not treated differently to any other damage sustained, and is subject to the standard policy excess, in this case £500. We appreciate this is different to domestic vehicle insurance policies, which tend to have a lower excess for windscreen damage. If you have any further questions, please do get in touch. Great service from start to finish
We had to cancel and re schedule 3 times which was out of our control but john grose fully understand us and it was no problem to them and we were very happy with all the staff and how everyone was dealt with the only bad thing was there was 3 of us and both vans advertised on the website indicate 3 seater on both Luton’s available however once we got to dealership and climbed into the low loader luton we discovered it was only a 2 seater so the website needs adjustment but overall the service was good

Great service
Great service. I had to extend my rental due to unforseen circumstances and the team at Ipswich were very helpful. The van was in good condition and with a full tank of fuel. If I ever need to rent again I will definitely go back to John grose.

Excellent customer service and an…
Excellent customer service and an almost new van! This was the first time that I have hired a van from John Grose. Having just turned 71, I discovered that insurance restrictions prevented me from renting a van from the company I have previously used. This is not the case with John Grose and the company will certainly be my first port of call next time I need a van!

Simple and competitively priced van rental
I needed a van to help move my daughter to a new house, and after looking at prices with all the usual rental companies, came across John Grose.
The pricing was the most competitive for the duration I needed, and the team were always easy to contact and respond to my queries.
Arranging the booking was easy, with all paperwork being done in advance, and the pick up and drop off were very quick and easy too.
Virtually a brand new van, and I could leave my car at the John Grose site for the duration of the rental which was a big help.

I've hired vans several times now with John goose and always had a great experience. Vans clean tidy full of fuel and generally a year or so old. Just make sure you get every damage scratch logged at pic up as made one mistake once and a damaged area small scrape of paint cost me excess. Sure it was already like that but on that one occasion I forgot to take pictures on my phone. Other than that occasion always been happy with service and will be my go to for my next hire in July for a minibus
