I bought products last year and had really forgotten about it but have now been prompted to write this review due to the brands recent actions. The two single eyeshadows I bought arrived. Ho... See more

Bodyshaming owner calling others fatty
Overpriced and wish quality! Calls people fatty when she is questioned
Bully brand so unprofessional
She is an awful person who attacks people on their body looks because she can’t take any constructive criticism. She doesn’t handle the situation professionally like a brand would and starts saying the most unprofessional things when someone doesn’t go her way. For any evidences go check the subreddit r/BeautyGuruChatter or ella kinkley’s instagram stories. She even processed to deactivate her socials because she didn’t want to face the consequences after encouraging her interlocutor to share everything.
Abbhorent behavior
Pretty products, but I was shocked to see how the owner treated one of their customers in an Instagram DM. Called them ”fatty” and mocked and bullied them for ”only” having a thousand followers - so incredibly unorofessional! All the while claiming to always strive for ”positivity”. I don’t care if you’re an indie brand, you should still treat people with respect and basic decency. I will NOT buy from this brand and I recommend that others refrain from doing so as well. Truly sickening behavior.
I’m honestly ashamed I own anything from this brand…
I have had the unfortunate experience of ordering a shadow from this site, and while I was so hopeful at first with how pretty it was- it performed terribly. Fall out central with it.
I called it a loss and threw it into a drawer to be forgotten about. Never cared enough to write a review until today when this brand came back on my radar for their owners exceptionally unprofessional and inappropriate responses to a customer who voiced concerns over how the brand owner recruited their followers to leave positive reviews on here, whether or not they’ve actually tried their products, to boost their ratings.
1. This removes your integrity as a brand. Period. These positive reviews can no longer be trusted.
2. The audacity to respond to the individual raising concern with comments about their weight, skin conditions, etc instead of professional constructive criticism or feedback is astounding. Especially when part of the reason I tried this brand initially was because I vibed with their positivity on Instagram. I am disappointed, disgusted, and frankly even ashamed that I ever bought the one item I have from them.
I cannot and will not ever recommend this brand to anyone. The products may look cool, but there’s other brands out there doing the same thing-better- all while maintaining their integrity and treating their customers with kindness.
Unprofessional, cruel, bad business owner
This business owner is one of the most unprofessional people I’ve ever seen. She thinks it’s acceptable to send DMs to people, calling them fat and criticizing their “scabby skin” because they had a constructive critique. She is a cruel woman, and that is not any way to speak to another human being. This was not personally said to me, but as a woman, the fact that she could say that to another woman is disgusting. She has thin skin if she chooses to go for attacking someone instead of taking in the criticism and learning from it: These screenshots will be shared everywhere, and until there is accountability, I don’t believe anyone should ever shop from her. If we reward cruel and unprofessional behavior, people will never grow. And quite frankly, she’s too grown to be behaving this way. A business owner, a mother, a woman, a fellow human on this earth, should know better than to speak to another person in such a way. Customer service is more than just responding to positive comments. Customer service is listening to all thoughts and opinions of your followers, and so she has failed at providing quality customer service.
absolutely vile
vile business owner who 1) doesn't reply emails 2) begs for free fake reviews with a sob story clip 3) attacks and body shames when pointed out reviews here are fake. lots of small independent business owners don't fake cry about their bad behaviour online with actually good and affordable makeup.
Very disappointed with this brand
Very disappointed with this brand. Owner is incredibly rude and childish.
Wont ever shop with them.
Kaima have been nothing but amazing for…
Kaima have been nothing but amazing for me. Skullz and Roses has great quality, super bright sparkles and respectable matte shades. I love the packaging too. Everything was very well wrapped and each sparkly shade protected. I am using this palette every time I want a bright burgundy/red/golden look!
Asked for positive reviews to reverse 3.6 rating
Owner has solicited followers on Instagram to give positive feedback to reverse 3.6 rating. I find this unethical as it silences the voice of those that had poor experiences with the brand. This Owner then proceeded to insult the looks of a content creator when they called out the brand owner for this unethical behavior.
I’ve bought two palettes from the brand (among some other things that I have not tried yet). The Boujee Boudoir palette was meh. The mattes were okay. The best shimmer had chunky glitter in it that I didn’t care for (1st round of palettes, don’t know if it has changed). The newest frosted fairy pastel palette is wonderful. Both the mattes and shimmers are amazing. However, I will not be purchasing from a brand who just wants to silence their critics.
Very rude customer service
Very, very rude customer service. Lies about their brand and laughs and makes fun of other people's appearances when they question the way the brand goes over reviews. Maybe try being a nice person instead of telling people to give you good reviews without them using your product. Maybe then you'll actually be able to create something that you can be proud of. Because it's not the product, but the person standing behind it. Look into the mirror and work on yourself.
Super fat phobic and rude
Super fat phobic and rude! Wouldn’t buy from them at all aside from it being expensive for what it is :/
Very overpriced for what you get
Very overpriced for what you get. Eyeshadow packaging feels cheap and the eyeshadows themselves are extremely chunky with a lot of fallout. Had a much better experience using other indie brands.
The most unique & stunning multichrome & glitters!
I haven’t had a stable income for a while, but I’ve always made sure to save up to purchase the products because they're truly so worth it!! Really unlike anything else out there. The recent pieces I got, including the first 2 eyeshadow palettes, are absolutely stunning and they reminded me exactly why I fell in love with makeup in the first place! All the shades are so incredibly beautiful and unique and feel so magical!!!! I was so happy when I got to play with them!! 🥹💖💖💖
I was gifted the Skullz and Roses…
I was gifted the Skullz and Roses palette by a friends and it is glorious ! I love playing with the colors, the pigments are bright and hold very well.
Good products. Fast shipping
I have ordered from kaima cosmetics since the beggining. I have a lot of their products and I get compliments everytime I wear them.
I got discount codes and some freebes at some point.
The shipping was fast everytime.
I also gave them feedback at some point and got a handwritten note in my package telling me they are going to take note on what I said.
Absolutely lovely indie company. 🖤
