Kettle Co Kitchens Reviews 

1) There was a delay to the work start date and therefore not as initially agreed and that, unfortunately set the level of the company performance throughout the process.
2) Because of what appears to be bad planning resulting in required items being delayed, or incorrect items being supplied, or no fitters available, I continuously had to request progress reports which, often were not answered, or the informed progress dates were missed.
3) The fitting time initially stated to me was seven days. This appeared to almost correct but was, unfortunately, spread over a period of seven months and not as I was led to believe, as I was categorically told that the fitters had been booked for two weeks to ensure a timely completion and there were no delays as a result of Covid. This issue of delays was repeated several times during the installation period.
4) The initial quote was increased by £1,000 during the period between the quote and the deposit being paid. This, coincidentally, was the amount listed in the quote as a discount. I did not budget for this increase and therefore had to compromise on the design originally asked for.
5) On the 14th August 2020 I paid the deposit. Full payment was requested and paid as requested on 3rd November and the fitters started work on the 23rd November. So from the point of contract and deposit being paid, and the completion date of 18th June 2021. the time to completion was almost ten months.
The kitchen units were of good quality, as were the fitters and electrician. The planning, project management and customer care were abysmal.

Quite possibly the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. There has been a litany of disasters with the purchase and installation of our kitchen which even with covid has taken two years to complete. Even the fitters have admitted that we have been dealt with really badly by this company. To keep it brief, I think think this company has grown too big too fast, they cannot provide a decent level of service to their customers. Customer service is either really poor or non existent. They do not keep to timescales, or keep you updated, you have to chase them every step of the way. After all the many problems we have had with this company our kitchen was finally finished a couple of weeks ago. A call, text, email or bunch of flowers would have been the least they could do (a retired fitter who was helping them out with all their after sale problems told me even mfi did this) ! Buyer be very aware !!!

The quality of the kitchen units and doors are far superior to any other company we looked at.

Myya was most helpful throughout the design, ordering and fitting of our new kitchen. She was lovely to deal with and came up with a superb design. She liaised with our appliance suppliers and kitchen fitters really well and the final result was a professionally fitted, beautiful kitchen that fully met our expectations. The project did take a lot longer that at first anticipated but this was largely due to the covid lockdown.

Lily, Alan and Mac did a fantastic job on our new kitchen. Right from the start Lily listened and changed the layout several times. Alan and Mac also consulted us as the work was carried out. They cleared up every afternoon before they left for the day, that was much appreciated.

We decided to use Kettle because of Lilly The sales person. She was with us all the way. Great advice. Nothing was too much bother for her. The personal service was excellent . The kitchen is great as well.

I had to replace my dryer the installers could not get it out because the plug had settled under the machine. I telephoned Kettle Kitchen who fitted the kitchen 4years ago they were very helpful and two fitters from Kettle came and dismantled meal bar and doors to remove old appliance. The were very professional and very careful and did a excellent job. I would definitely recommend kettle Kitchen to anyone.

We went to Kettle Kitchens looking for our dream kitchen in our new build property and found Kettle Kitchens in Plymouth. Simon helped us to design a kitchen that fits our personal needs perfectly. He came up with great ideas for storage solutions and got the overall look we were going for down to a tee. Mark, the installer, then actioned the fitting of the kitchen to a very high standard. All in all we are extremely happy with the finished look and quality, feeling very happy that we good value for our money.
We would highly recommend Kettle, along with Simon and his installer Mark. A real bob on job all round.

Lily is truly an expert when it comes to kitchen design. We had a rough idea of what we wanted but she pointed to many practical things we hadn't even considered and greatly improved on our initial concept. Alan, our fitter really knew his stuff too and took pride in his work. We feel very fortunate to have had Kettle Co recommended to us by a worktop company. We hadn't been aware of this excellent local company before. Thank you Lily and Alan, we love our new kitchen.

Recently purchased a new Kitchen from "Kettle Kitchens" of Plymouth. From the initial discussions with Luke, through to final installation there was excellent attention to detail, and a well detailed 3D design was produced, with good ideas where we could easily see the finished concept. There was no need for us to go to another Supplier as we were pleased with the quality of the product, design experience and price. No issues with the plan during installation, one unit was supplied the incorrect size but Luke replaced this within 2 days. We decided to not go with a traditional worktop but went with a "micro cement" worktop using "Earthcoat", which is a fairly new concept but we were very pleased with the final results and with the knowledge and skill of Ross. No issues with recommending Kettle Kitchens.

Faultless service from Kettle in Plymouth starting with Simon’s design skills through to Mark’s attention to detail in fitting the kitchen. This was achieved during the recent lockdown when we were unable to be around. The whole team went out of their way to help out with the situation. They had our keys and Simon even emptied the cupboards. Dan fitted in a visit at short notice before we had to leave. Andy had the light fittings delivered to his house and alerted us to a potential problem in another room. Mark kept us updated via WhatsApp. The appliances were ordered through Woolacotts who have also been very helpful. We are so pleased with our new kitchen and the service we have received - we do not hesitate to recommend Kettle!

Dan Chard from St.Austell branch designed our kitchen.After a delay because of Covid it was fitted in March 2021.The whole process from start to finish was completed with the maximum attention to detail.Where nothing was left to chance.Dan could not have been more helpful.Mark Halsey fitted the kitchen brilliantly and was a joy to have working in the house, nothing was too much trouble and the plan was completed to a very high standard if not perfect.Andy Rice had to rewire our kitchen which was completed to a very high standard with no hassle, also a joy to have in the house.All in all a beautiful kitchen, we would recommend Kettle Kitchen and especially Dan,Mark and Andy combination.They did a brilliant beautiful job.A 5 star rating.

Lily designed our kitchen with great panache! We had some ideas ourselves but she thought of lots of ways to improve those and came up with a lovely final design. We thought the choice at Kettle Kitchens was tremendous. The installer Simon was brilliant, doing the fitting, plastering and electrical work. We're delighted with our new kitchen.

Lily Hobbs steered us through to a satisfying conclusion with a kitchen re-vamp in a limited space. Head and shoulders above the chain providers of kitchens in terms of a willingness to work with us in providing solutions to a difficult space. Trust in your provider is an essential ingredient and Lily from Kettle Kitchens delivered in a calm and forthright manner and was available when issues arose. A first-class experience.

We have just had a kitchen fitted in a house we have built. We wanted a modern, light and airy feel. From the start of the design process through to the fitting and after care, the teams attention to detail and ability to work with us as clients has been a dream. I have already recommended Kettle Kitchens to other people as I am so impressed. Great value and quality.

Nice kitchen in general, no problems with delivery or with the fit.
The only thing I could say needs improving is that there was no fixings supplied with the kitchen but not the end of the world.
And Simon the designer was very helpful.

We decided to go with Kettle Co after considering several companies. Though not the lowest of the quotes received, the quality of the products and the attention to detail shown by our designer, Simon, meant that we had to choose Kettle Co.
Simon continued to advise on the design as we adapted our project and was aways really helpful, even talking to our fitters when advice was required.

We had our kitchen designed by Luke in Plymouth, as part of a full house renovation. Due to the pandemic and building works we kept having to push our installation date right, and Luke was very accommodating and went out of his way to ensure the installation happened at the best time for us, also coordinating the delivery of the appliances. The design service itself was fantastic, with great advice given taking into account our budget and our wishes. The installation was carried out by Brian, who was professional from start to finish, again offering great advice and he left the house spotless when he finished. The plumber, Corben, was not initially scheduled to work on our kitchen, but he turned up at very short notice and his standards were second to none, unfortunately there was a fault with the tap, which he found highly frustrating, but Luke was at the end if the phone at 8pm on the day to try and resolve the issue. I could not fault the process from start to finish and I am very impressed with the quality of the kitchen itself, it looks lovely. Thank you Luke, Brian and Corben for making the process as stress free as possible.
