The Kobo Libra Colour is the second Kobo eReader I have purchased. So I obviously find Kobo's products very reliable and useful. I am a little disappointed in the faded quality of the colors in the ne... See more

This is my second Kobo
This is my second Kobo. The first lasted 7 years and got ruined in a flood. I love the new version and the remote is a genius idea. Cannot fault seamless ordering and delivery - and clever reloading of all the books I had previously bought.
As a writer
As a writer, there is no point to publish your work on this platform. Why to spent time and money to drive traffic to them when they do not even give tools to promote your works. You said that my books are not align to readers expectations, so there is not reason to try to drive traffic to your site. My plans are not aligns to your platform policy.

Is this the worst customer service…
Is this the worst customer service ever, I purchased a e-reader from them with in 7 days it went wrong (would not charge) after spending 1 1/2 hours on the phone they wanted me to send it back so they could look at it!! I insisted they replaced it or I would get my card company to do a charge back, the replacement was with me in a couple of days. They sent a label to return the original which I did and have an acknowledged. I have just received my second email asking me to return it! I replied to the email which bounced as it’s not monitored so I went to the website to the contact us page filled in the AI assistant page thinking it would pass the information to customer services and it told me to reply to the email The that’s not monitored. The product is ok not much better than Kindle but the customer support and back up is reason not to buy from them
Further to Kobo’s reply I have just spent a further 2hours in a chat with customer services I sent copies of the email confirming return and today asked me to return them item they already have after Jay checking he sent this: I will escalate your issue to the appropriate department. Please note that we cannot provide an estimated time frame for when they will review and offer a solution. As soon as they do, we will email it to you. terrible customer support
Further to the reply they just say the same thing over and over never any answer no true support Don’t buy from them

Simply amzing e-reader
Simply amzing e-reader! I never owned a Kindle but I watched multiple reviews and did my research on them, and in my opinion Kobo by far surpasses it. Its so easy to work with, battery life is awesomely lenghty (didn’t charge it for weeks), very qualitative crisp text and its the perfect size to hold for when reading. Cool statics and a lot of costumizable fonts and reading asthetics. Also the power on button?? Best decision ever to whoever decided to place it in the back AND indented so you don’t accidentally turn it on and drain the battery whereas Kindle is on the bottom 😭 like its so easy to mistakenly press that thing. And the costumizeable screen saver? Whereas Kindle just shows you some ads (and sometimes inappropriate ones)AND you have to pay $20 to get them removed. Like bruh, I bought something of my OWN, and you going to make me spend more to alter something like this of a device I OWN?? but Kobo? No, its all about you and I love that. Also, i found it super duper easy to work with my laptop in costumizing the screen saver and adding books from my library. I have saved a lot of money! Also, Kobo focuses on the reader, whereas Kindle focuses on advertising you more books. In the home page the biggest section is about your books and your stuff and can even make categories for your books. Kindle? 2/3 is them trying to get you to buy your next book. Im comparing these two because thats what I was debating on personally FIY and hopefully it comes in handy for yourself if you are in the same spot as I was. Idk to me these small details speak and mean a lot. So in conclusion, although slightly pricer than Kindle, I would buy it thousands times again because its simply ideal for me and my reading needs. And also, it came in like 3 days upon ordering which aided in my overwhelming excitement of awaiting the product. Kobo you are awesome, thank you for focusing on the costumer rather than ways to take more of people’s money. It shows you care about the reader’s experience and if you don’t hear that enough, let this review be loud and clear! People need to hear about your products more so invest in some advertising because in my experience, I didn’t hear about your brand until my 3-4th day of considering an e-reader, thanks to TikTok. You guys are awesome and Thank You for all you do. Me and the Kobo community appreciate you!

I’m so glad I chose Kobo for my first ereader! It’s exactly what I needed!
second kobo
This is my second kobo, previously had the forma for 6 years, ordered and delivered in a few days.
We travel a lot so this is a fantastic way to load up on a comprehensive mix of fiction, bio & autobiographies, that weigh next to nothing
I love my Kobo so much
I love my Kobo so much! So easy to use, love being able to connect it to my library, and so convenient to travel with.

My old Kobo e-reader was faulting when turning pages very randomly. It would explode the font size then I would spend the next minute readjusting to my default size. Frustrating. I was well overdue for a new e-reader. Now working perfectly.
Always have book with me.
Always have book with me now. Felt disloyal if it wasn’t a “proper” book. This is light, easy to use and fits in my handbag. Battery lasts for hours too.
Does what it says it does.
My Kobo lasts forever and makes reading on it very convenient and travel friendly. From the time it arrived in the mail, to the time of this review, I have had to charge my Kobo once. I would recomend this device to anyone looking for an ereader.
My partner loves her new Kobo Libra…
My partner loves her new Kobo Libra Colour! Her old Libra model was having some syncing issues, and those have gone away with this upgrade. The color e-Ink is a great feature as well
Almost Perfect, If You Only Use One Library Card
I recently purchased a Kobo Libra in an effort to move away from my previous e-reader brand, and the device itself is excellent. The screen is responsive, the backlight is great, and the overall interface is intuitive. On hardware alone, this is an easy 5-star purchase.
Unfortunately, one of the features that convinced me to buy it hasn't lived up to my expectations. I was excited about the built-in OverDrive integration so I could borrow library books directly on the device. However, Kobo no longer supports signing in with multiple library cards, which makes this feature essentially unusable for me since I use more than one library system.
Instead, I have to sideload library books using Adobe Digital Editions, which feels outdated and unnecessarily cumbersome. If Kobo restored support for multiple library cards in OverDrive, this would easily be a 5-star purchase. Until then, it's a fantastic e-reader with one frustrating limitation.

Improved design and easy to use
Very easy to set up and use. Compact size. Really like the buttons to turn page. Much improved design from earlier models.
Great device
Great device. Convenient 6 inch size and excellent stable software. While page turning and highlighting is fast, the loading time is a bit slow. If a new model comes with a better processor, I’ll upgrade immediately. Battery lasts long enough.

I like it a lot
I like it a lot, the writing isn’t as smooth as I hoped but still good for notes. There seems to be a lot you can customize so I have to figure that out. Sometimes it refreshes back to back which can be annoying when I’m trying to treat it like my tablet lol,but for the most part doesn’t bother me. When reading it’s fine and doesn’t do it so much except for what I have set. All around a good reader
