I'm really pleased with my order, process was easy to manage & it is very pretty. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 as I thought the pebbles were maybe a bit tiny for the size of the overall picture. I will consider ordering further gifts from La de da.

Easy to order from and the product arrived early and in great condition.

Having ordered four previous personalised spoons and being really happy with them I ordered a fifth. This one had been sent in a plain flimsy white envelope and had come open on two of the four sides and the envelope was wet as it had been raining when the postie delivered it. I literally picked up the envelope which fell away to reveal the wet spoon inside - not an impressive delivery as it had clearly not been despatched adequately packed. I don't even know how it managed to reach me!
My reaction was different to usual too as I felt really disappointed with it as it was very different to any I had ordered before. I know they are not perfect and that is part of the charm but the letters didn't have the same clarity as the previous ones and some letters were blob like. In addition the message was crooked. The spoon just wasn't as nice as previous ones.
I sent a polite email advising of the inadequate packaging and commented I was a little disappointed and sent photos of the new spoon and a previous one I'd received.
More disappointing than this was the response I had from the general manager. He sent a very short response saying sorry it was received wet and that they do not use jiffy bags due to the use of plastic.
A further short comment said the writing on the spoon was in keeping with other items and they will always be different!
I just found the response weak and it didn't come across that they were that bothered.
They need to package items so that they arrive intact plastic or no plastic. You cannot send a heavy metal dessert spoon through the post in a normal white letter envelope!
This was in 2019 and I didn't leave a review at the time so hopefully they have rectified it but I never ordered from them again. I have decided to leave the review now as a friend recently had an issue with them and received poor customer service.

Items were as described, just what I ordered, looked fantastic and have been gifted and greatly liked by recipients. I am going to order again.⁹

The item was lovely, the delivery was very speedy - BUT i was extremely disappointed with the 'gift box' - it's not a gift box, it's a cheap filmsy brown pouch with a plastic window in it. I am annoyed that i paid £1.50 for it, it should have been free. I felt embarrassed giving it to my friend. You can't charge £1.50 for this - and you definitely shouldn't be referring to at as a 'gift box'. Such a shame, the spoon is gorgeous. Very annoyed.
