During the sales process of the job everything seemed to be going according to plan. The associates were willing to help and answer any questions I had in the beginning of the process. However, soon after the job had begun, I started to have several issues and the associates made notes to tell the manager. I have yet to hear back or talk to the manager and that was about a week ago. One problem that I have seen since they began working on my bathroom dealt with them taking out the old materials of the bathroom. Demolition of the old bathroom took 8 days, while I was told it would only be one day. The crew was only working 1-2 hours a day. While they were tearing out the old bathroom they cut an electrical wire and knocked plaster off of three walls of rooms that back up to bathroom walls. After the demolition process, the problems still continued. On day nine, they finally began to lay down the tile for the flooring of the bathroom. They have put all of the flooring in the bathroom and shower, but the color differentiation in the tile is very drastic.What should be white colored tiles dispersed throughout the flooring turned out to be white colored tile on one half of the bathroom and solid gray tile on the other half. We are now on day 13 of this process, which again should have only been 3-4 days total, and we are still waiting for the floor to be corrected and for the walls to be started and completed. I am still trying to reach out to the manager of the company to try and discuss my concerns about my bathroom, but I have yet to hear any response from the company.

Quick & very efficient job!

It was indeed an extremely pleasant experience to walk in the L&M Mechanicsville, VA showroom, and walk out knowing the ideal floor would soon be in our home. Angie J. was wonderful! She assisted with a smile and without any pressure. After she quickly grasped the idea of our flooring desire, Angie went to work and found the "perfect" floor. We have informed her that we will be back soon, along with requesting the great crew to do the flawless tasks again as we improve more of our home's flooring.

I had a water leak and needed carpet and wood flooring in my home. The carpet installers arrived on time and were finished in little over an hour in bedroom. Later wood flooring installed with five very hard workers in large area of dining/living area. We had expected a two day installation with our having to spend a night in a motel. They were finished in five and half hours and my home looks great. Also carpet and flooring costs were installed for about same price we were given by another place of business for just the wood flooring.

L @ M Carpet One Floor & Home worked with us to fit our schedule. They explained how the project would work and how long it would take. Mr Gains, the project manager, visited our home several times to make sure things were going smoothly. The installers did an excellent job. I would definitely use this company again.

Angela Jordan made my shopping experience a great one. I went to L&M Carpet looking for new flooring for our kitchen. She was courteous and informative. In fact everyone that I came into contact with was that way. My floor looks great! I would definitely recommend others their way. Thank you L&M for a job well done.

I called L&M to see about ordering some commercial grade tile for my kitchen (Azrock). Our salesperson, Angie, did a wonderful job helping us select colors and carpeting. We ended up hiring them to replace carpet and lay new kitchen floors. They were fast to measure and have an estimate. The team was very quick and clean with both the removal of the old carpet and installing the new carpet and also vinyl flooring in a pattern we requested. The floors turned out beautiful. They were even willing to come back out and replace a transition piece free of charge as it had wiggled out of place and was no longer flush with the floor. Very happy with the service and quality, BUT you get what you get what you pay for!

Very good company to work with. No complaints. Followed up to make sure all was done correctly. Guys were neat with the installation.

L & M is always accountable, and transparent. They know what service after the sale is. I have used them on my jobs since 1981.

When moving, we replaced carpet and I was most impressed with L&M's up-front commitment to accuracy and value. The measurement process took a little longer than the competition, but when they were done, it was clear that they weren't going to miss anything and come up with any surprises upon installation. Also, they showed me HOW they estimated the carpet usage and used every inch of the roll of carpet at hand so that they could get the most out of the least amount of material. The other company didn't offer that nor did they measure as carefully. The installation itself was first rate and we were very satisfied. The new owners of the house ended up installing more of the same carpet in the areas we didn't replace and they used the same company. Now that we're in the new place, we know who we're going to use! Laurel was a delight to work with and offered lots of options. We can't wait to renovate the new place using L&M's service.

Our experience with L and M Carpet One could not have been better! We were quite pleased with the sales person that took care of us. I never expected to receive such great installation service and follow-up. These folks are professionals all the way through. What we requested was never a problem for them....they evidently are quite accustomed to putting their clients first at all times. It was a pleasure working with such a great company! They made SURE that we were completely satisfied and that the financing was also agreeable to us. Beyond our expectations in all aspects of the process.

From Day one when my husband and I were greeted by Laurel Stegeman at L&M to begin our journey to choose kitchen flooring to the last day of installation, we cannot say enough good things about L&M, Laurel or the service. Laurel was always available by email and telephone to answer questions, set schedules, and arrange for additional services, e.g., plumbing, to see that the project was completed efficiently and professionally - and on time! L&M's installers were wonderful. They were efficient and consulted with us on questions of style and preference at every stage. When we discovered a "nit" in the grout of the tile floor, Laurel responded immediately as did the installers and the issue was resolved quickly and completely. I recommend L&M highly and without reservation. Our floor is beautiful!

We used them for kitchen flooring over three years ago. When it was time to replace bathroom flooring and carpet in the rest of the house we selected them again. We were pleased from start to finish working with the installers and the staff. Morris and Matt continue to deliver a fair price with excellent customer service.

My wife and I were in desperate need of new carpet in our first home. We were putting it on the market and knew that the old carpet, that had been there for who knows how long before we bought it, would turn away potential buyers. We reached out to Matt Shelton with L&M Carpet One and he came out the next day to give us a quote. We explained to him our situation and he recommended a product that would work just right for our goals. We agreed on the spot and within a week we had new carpet. The house sold the first day on the market and I just know it was because of the excellent product and service that L&M Carpet One provided. We will definitely be using them again!

We had to replace our kitchen floor due to water damage and decided to redo another room. After shopping around and getting quotes, L&M was the best price and the best to deal with, I didn't want some sub-contractor slapping the floor down and leaving. The work was done with integrity and honesty, the installer Brian was awesome, he installs your floor like he is installing in his own home. John and Laurel are the best to deal with, never rushing to just make the sale, but making sure you are happy and satisfied. Their product knowledge is top notch and they pay attention to detail, right down to making sure your quarter round trim matches the floor. Randy who is their carpenter is the best, the transition strips he made surpass any store bought ones!! L&M is the best!! We love our new floors, thank you guys!!!

Angie was and is wonderful! She showed me several options for flooring and was interested in my priorities. She was able to meet all my needs, including getting my hardwood floors refinished.
I called back to have her pick a tile for the upstairs bathroom, have it measured, and get an estimate for installation, which she made happen within 24 hours.
All visits to L&M in person and by phone have been pleasant and the people there are so helpful and friendly. Plus, the decorators have very good taste. I'd trust their recommnedations on any product.

L&Mcarpet WAS ONE OF THE BEST CHOICES THAT I HAVE MADE, THE MEN WHO CAME OUT TO INSTALL ,WORKED FROM THE TIME THEY ARRIVED TO COMPLETION OF THE JOB. THEY WERE LIKABLE AND THEY CLEANEDUP AFTER THE INSTALL AND PUT FURNITURE BACK IN PLACE. IT WAS AN AWESOME EXPERIENCE.
