WARNING TO SMALL BUSINESSES - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, we have been totally ripped off with Lavazza, totally conned by unethical methods of sale I would not have expected from a professional company. I share the earlier comment of the coffee not being good and the small print in the contract not discussed, yes we should have read every single line and not trusted what we were told, unfortunately that is not how we have done business with suppliers over the last 40 years, beware of the termination length to close the contract, beware of minimum sales not mentioned and underperformance charges. You can buy a coffee machine for the price of 2 months rent that is better coffee and more efficient, this mistake has unfortunately cost us 000's having to have the machine for an extra 11 months as you have to give notice 2 months before the anniversary of the contract. There is also no help, assistance, or marketing provided so absolutely no point in renting one of their machines, we are coming to the end of this contract finally, cannot wait to get rid of it !!
Lavazza has been such a wonderful company to work with. From the set up, the billing, the customer service and the deliscious coffee, we have been nothing short of impressed with this company! Our account manager Natalie Hlavacek has been amazing, super knowledgable, nothing is ever too much for her to help with and she's geuinely so lovely to deal with! We switched from another company, and Lavazza have shown us what we've been missing. Highly recommend for your canteen coffee needs!

Lavazza's overall response is very good, but what makes it work for my accounts is the commitment and support of Becky Chapman, Lavazza's Customer Account Manager, who is always very responsive and helpful, assisting in every aspect of the requirements of my contracts. We entered into a contract for a Lavazza coffee machine, but unfortunately, the experience has been nothing but frustrating and disappointing. The coffee quality was well below expectations, and despite multiple engineer visits, we were ultimately told that the machine could only produce acceptable results with one specific type of coffee — and even then, the quality remained so poor that our customers would not drink it.
As a small independent business, this has had a significant impact on us. We relied on Lavazza to provide a quality product that would meet our customers’ expectations, and instead, we've faced ongoing issues, wasted time, and dissatisfied customers. Now, on top of this, we’re in the position of having to purchase a new machine just to maintain our service standards.
After weeks of back-and-forth communication trying to cancel the contract, we were offered a reduced termination fee — yet still expected to pay over £1,000. Considering we were not provided the quality or product we were initially promised, this is incredibly disappointing.
It’s disheartening that a brand as trusted as Lavazza has failed to deliver, and based on our experience, we cannot recommend them.

Emma has helped when we had some issues with consumables but was able to step in to chase customer service and sorted all out quickly and effectively. Lovely lady to speak with, would recommend.

I am writing to formally express my deep dissatisfaction with both the Lavazza coffee machine we acquired over a year ago and the consistently poor level of service and support we've experienced since.
At the time of installation, we were assured of ongoing support and promotional assistance, including staff visits to help promote the product in-store. This never materialised. Despite repeated follow-ups, all we ever received were excuses – ranging from staff being on holiday to "we're training someone new" – none of which resulted in any actual support.
Worse still, the machine itself has proven to be unreliable, breaking down four times in six months, with issues ranging from a broken screen to other operational faults. Each time, the machine was out of use for several days, directly impacting our business and leading customers to lose interest altogether. Throughout all this, we were never offered compensation or even proactive assistance for the downtime.
Now, after deciding to terminate our agreement, the lack of responsiveness has continued. It’s taken over a month to get any clear reply, and once again we are being met with the same delays and excuses – "he’s on holiday", "we’ll get back to you", etc. This is unacceptable.
This entire experience has been disappointing, frustrating, and frankly, unprofessional. I would strongly advise others to avoid Lavazza at all costs. If you're looking for a coffee partner who values their customers, go with a company like Costa who actually delivers on their promises.
I expect this issue to be resolved immediately, including a formal confirmation of contract termination and any final steps required on our part.
