Avoid this garage like the plague!!
Avoid this garage like the plague!!! , we bought a Volvo xc60 from them broke down 3 times after a lot of head ache and stress we formally rejected the car and eventually got our money back leaving us massively out of pocket the garage instructed us to get the car to local garage for a diagnosis to see if the car was safe to drive back and assured we would be fully reimbursed this was back in November we are now in February and unfortunately having to through a small claims please do not go through what we have please use another garage
Avoid.
Avoid.
Bought a one year old EQB with low mileage.
I questioned the unevenly balding tyres at the time and was told it had been through an extensive health check and the tyres had 3mm of tread so more than acceptable, I foolishly just accepted this as fact. I got a puncture and the tyre centre said all of the tyres were legal but right on the limit and worryingly unevenly worn.
Furthermore, I got a service reminder after 5 months of owning the car – I assumed it would have been serviced in the 'extensive check' before handover, but no!
Finally, I have only written this review because I was promised a call back to at least explain (preferably resolve) but no one has bothered calling back either. Bodge it, take your money and scarper would probably sum it up?
Terrible service from Mercedes…
Terrible service from Mercedes Birmingham. If I could give a negative 5 score I would! My 2025 car is making a noise at acceleration. I was booked at 11:15. It was 12:30 before they even took it on a test drive! I spent 2 and a half hours at the dealership but why book it in at 11:15 in the first place. The car has a fault that requires repair and I have found the communication extremely poor. They have booked my car for a repair on a date that is unsuitable. Called the same day to try and change it. Told me the person dealing with it is has gone home and I will get confirmation on Monday. Monday has now come and gone and still nothing! When I enquired again in person I was told rudely by the team leader Mo Ahmed that it is still morning and I would get a text confirming the new date but still nothing! I would definitely not recommend this dealership and overall not recommend Mercedes to anyone.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience. Booked my car in for diagnostic for condensation inside and a software update. Booked a waiting appointment and being in the trade any normal garage wouldn’t book this if the work would be done in over an hour. I sat the for 3 hours and 30 minutes. That’s not the best bit, the result of the diagnostic that I sat there all that time for was
It’s because you have a cup in your car, a coat in your boot and a pair of boots.
So it has taken 3 1/2 hours and £150 to tell me that I have an empty cup and a bone dry coat and boots in my car that’s causing the condensation.
I’ll let you make your mind up but it’s nothing short of theft and the staff were unhelpful and dismissive. The only person that showed a slight interest was the customer experience manager who is looking in to this but he even said you seats maybe still wet from when you bought it if they were cleaned. It was. Ought 4 months previous and another deflection tactic.
Just admit the terrible service and put it right, forget all the excuses.
An absolute Gem
I had my service at Stockport Mercedes, and I needed a part, which needed to be sent from London, then a young lady called Sally come to me to explain what was going to happen, I’ve never known someone take complete charge of a situation, she had so much knowledge and I felt complete confidence in her, she organised my hire car, with the minimum of fuss, sorted my service record out, because it wasn’t logged when I had my 1st service and it took a lot of sorting as it had to be back dated, Sally had to go through head office and deal with managers from many departments.
I hope Mercedes in Stockport realise what an absolute gem they have working for them.👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Warranty Update
Car went in for annual service 12th Dec 2025 on my C43 ( Stockport Mercedes) and i also raised an issue with my seat cover ( it had already been replaced under previously under warranty and was have the same issue ( stitching coming undone) . 6 weeks on no feedback on the warranty update ( previously took three days). ive emailed numerous times and made calls and even gone into Stockport to gain update and was promised an udpate ( still waiting) , still no update on a simple warranty claim . Stockport Mercedes have no concept of customer service nor any follow up or keeping customers updated Asked for manager to call me and requested again today !!!! still waiting
Lack of Ethics
Yesterday I took my Mercedes service (ashbourne way, solihull )to fix my SRS pin and out of curiosity I asked the reception how much it will cost me if I wanted to change my all break discs and pads! Then the allocated me with agent Luis who comes with offer £999 when I told its too much and I would do it later then he started requesting me and felt for this guy and agreed with £800. Once the job is done he comes up the bill £850.35! I asked why more £50.35, he just said i agreed with £850! So I paid the bill and got out with my car. I find this service centre is practising a rip off culture and it has been indulged by management. Come on Mercedes... don't be so cheap and fix your customer service culture and practice transparency!
Mercedes Whitefield
I recently purchased a car from Mercedes Whitefield and the service was 10/10. Dee was absolutely fabulous, and even came in on his day off to make sure I had everything in place before receiving the car. I also want to add a huge shoutout to Usef who was also fabulous. He showed me everything inside the car that i need to know and also went above and beyond for me. Usef 100% needs a salesman job because I could not fault him. All staff at Mercedes have been amazing but huge shoutout to these 2!!
Poor customer service and zero follow up communicationMy Mercedes broke down 2 weeks ago and…
My Mercedes broke down 2 weeks ago and the service and responsiveness from the garage has been very poor.
Not what I expect from Mercedes.
Lsh auto Birmingham are possibly the…
Lsh auto Birmingham are possibly the worst. Tara cresswell and Rachel were dealing with my car and just the way they treat you post sale is crazy. When buying a car it’s all smiles and can’t do enough for you. You bring the car for a repair of any kind and the level of service is like you’re a burden on their time.
I can’t express how disappointed I am in their service. Rachel wasn’t as bad but still. They are a terrible representation of Mercedes.
Inefficient service
1.Poor communication
2. Inefficient service. I dropped my car at the aftersales service to rectify a system warning. It took them hours to start working on my car. 5days later, the warning is still displayed by the car. I contacted customer service to ask if it took this long to reset or could be sorted remotely but all I got was “you have to take it back to them”. No attempt at a fitting response or even understanding the situation. I can’t believe that I’ll have to go through this again.
I had seen a used GLC online
I had seen a used GLC online. Unfortunately I live some 70+ miles away. I rand the Erdington Birmingham branch for more information. I spoke to a very helpful chap called George. I asked him for his views on the car and he said he would look at it and get back to me with a video. Within the hour he sent me the video and took me all around the vehicle. It was clear that the paintwork was good as were the alloys and tyres. The inside of the car showed no marks or any issues. I agreed a deposit and travelled up to Birmingham three days later. We were greeted as we entered the showroom and taken to the seating area where we were offered a coffee whilst we waited for George. The car had been prepared for our arrival and followed by all the paperwork including George sorting out the road tax the car was looking very good when we had the chance to have a really good look for ourselves. Having looked at a lot of negative reviews I personally cannot find fault with both the car, or any of the staff who were helpful and attentive. George was excellent who really made us feel welcome and gave us excellent service in purchasing our car. All I can add it’s a big thumbs up from me.

Would give 0 stars if I could
Would give 0 stars if I could. Dreadful customer service and an unbelievably shocking ability to schedule their mechanics. Took my car in for a recall being told it should only take an hour, after an hour I saw my car roll into the workshop. After asking why the car was only just going in I was then told the update takes 5-hours - being on my lunch at work I had to leave disappointed. After rescheduling for another day, I dropped my car off at 10am to leave plenty of time for a fix, after calling up at 2pm I was told my car had not even made it into the workshop yet and was unlikely to be ready that day. After explaining I would now be without a car I was effectively met with the reply to either reschedule AGAIN or live with it as they could not provide a courtesy car. I would not recommend stepping foot in this awful dealership, save yourself the hassle.
A terrible experience with LSH auots
A terrible experience with LSH autos Stockport. Despite the impressive showroom they failed to fix my car under warranty and when returned to have it looked at again they received the car at the booked slot only to then say they wouldn't do any further works as I have asked for complaints procedure. I instead went to Mercedes bury and they reviewed the repair that LSH autos failed to do and provided excellent service. I registered a formal complaint with Mercedes hq and will awaiting conclusion to the investigation as to why lsh failed to repair my car under warranty, provided no complaints procedure when asked for it. I am disgusted at the treatment I have experienced
Absolutely Awful
The Stockport branch of this dealership is absolutely awful. I refuse to use them again after being made to needlessly wait over 3 hours. Their complaints department are not interested and their salesmen mis-sell you financial products.
I bought a car from lsh auto Stockport…
I bought a car from lsh auto Stockport in may. I can tell you now it’s the worst experience I have ever had. The customer service from this place is beyond horrendous. They are quick to answer the phones when they want a sale but when it’s to do with issues it’s like a ghost town. It started from buying the car from the 1st of may to which the car wasn’t ready until the 27th of may. To which on my drive home 4 faults came up with the car. It went straight back to which another month went by for a car I was paying for & not received. I got fed up of waiting for the vehicle, so I Picked it up off my own back & booked the car into my local vw which they agreed to pay for. My local vw gave them a price to sort the car they refused. They wanted to fix the car them selves. Which they did & the car worked fine for a week before all the same issues. Dealing with Kelly Mitchell has been absolutely horrendous I don’t know how she is even a manager. The communication skills from a manager at a company like Mercedes is not a good picture. She is rude doesn’t get back to emails texts & phone calls. Emails 5pm on a Friday giving updates so I can’t reply back to her then be on leave the week after. The whole place is a joke. Ive had the car for 7 months in that time I’ve had possession of the car for 5/6 weeks total. They have offered me a refund of the car to which it’s cost me a total of £7000 nearly to have the car for 5 weeks. To which they want refund me £4200. They are trying to say I’ve done over 3000 miles on the car in 5/6 weeks which is impossible the only mileage on the car is them collecting the car & returning it & what ever they have been doing with it in their care. AVOID AT ALL COST. no sympathy just want your money & rude manager what can’t stick to promises. Doesn’t even deserve 1 star! Disgrace!!!!!
One of the worse branches I’ve been to
One of the worse branches I’ve been to. Unfortunately the lowest to me. Misquoted the work which ended up costing me twice the price. Dropped of the car at 7am and asked for them to be finished with before 4pm as my husband needs to take it to work. Didn’t call tell 4.45pm. They never ring you back. You have to chase them. Even though there’s plenty of staff you will be waiting around ages for someone to deal with you in reception. So poorly run. Bad management.
Absolute Charlatans
I found a BYD Seal Excellence at LSH Stockport on auto trader and called to ask about it. I spoke with the sale girl multiple times and told her that I had already organised the financing and we arranged for myself to visit the dealership at 2.00 pm the following day for me to purchase the car and sign off the paperwork.
I had sold my original car so there was no part-exchange and I had all the paperwork with me from the finance company plus £24,000 in cash sitting in my bank to transfer to LSH and the finance arranged for the rest of the value.
I had arranged with the finance company that they would have been able to pay LSH on the day while I was present.
I called the sale girl at 10.am to say that I would be a bit late and she said "no problem and look forward to seeing you".
At 10.20 I had a phone call from a very arrogant man who told me that the car HAD BEEN SOLD THAT MORNING !!
As everyone who reads this review will be asking "how the hell could they do this to someone", the even worse fact that is evident from this, is that LSH do not give a sh*t about customers or potential customers as long as they get a sale.
I have reported what happened to BYD UK and they have promised a full investigation with the lady saying that this is one of the most disgusting things she had heard from all UK BYD dealerships and that she had raised it to the UK management.
If you want a BYD, avoid LSH Stockport.
The guy who called is also transphobic, due to how he addressed me, so if you are LGBTQ+, very much so avoid this dealership.
BEWARE OF PAYING A DEPOSIT TO LSH AUTOS
Paid £1000 deposit in anticipation of buying a mercedes, I was told it would be refunded if I did not proceed. There was a degree of pressure applied to secure the deposit, the sale did not proceed due to what appeared to be a paint issue on mercedes black bonnets (only apparent when the car had been cleaned, subsequently I checked and this appears to be an ongoing issue reported on line).
Despite assurances my deposit has still not been returned.

Bought a Mercedes CLA 220d Premium Plus…
Bought a Mercedes CLA 220d Premium Plus on the 29th of September and got it delivered to Belfast. I was assured that the car was in perfect condition and needed nothing as it was only seven months old. On taking the car to a reputable garage for a winter check, they have told me it will need new tyres in a few hundred miles. When I emailed the guy who bought the car, from surprise, surprise, he did not bother contacting me back. Typical car dealers: once you have parted with your money, they do not want to know. I am very disappointed to say the least.
