Absolutely the best company to buy a piano from. Even though I didn’t visit the showroom, I didn’t feel worried about spending money on something I hadn’t seen. Videos were available and emails were answered really quickly. My first tuning has already been booked in and I love my piano!!!

The team at Mark Goodwin were fantastic in helping us choose a piano for our family, including making changes to the model offered to suit us best. Their communication throughout was superb and we would not hesitate to recommend them to others. Thank you!

We brought our kids a piano from these amazing people a month ago. I left it a bit to feed back but Incase you are wondering does the novelty wear off ? No it doesn’t. The boy is playing daily for fun, teaching himself and learning so much. We love the sensory feed back a piano gives rather than a clavinova type. Plus it’s tone is lovely. Put it in a carpeted room if you don’t like loud all the time though the acoustics in a room with wooden floor is amazing. It’s so cool to hear it being played and guess I have to admit to playing again after far too long.
MPG made the process effortless and are very professional. Well done guys.

I bought a piano with Mark and Julie back in January/ February as i've mentioned in a previous review. Since then though they have provided excellent aftercare and were more than happy to help provide me with an evaluation of the piano as required by my home insurance. They really are amazing people and provide a brilliant service. I would recommend them to everyone unreservedly.

Recently won a harmonica in an auction, and when I need a new piano I woukdnt go anywhere other than Mark Goodwin Pianos. The staff are absolutely fantastic.

I absolutely love my Yamaha U3 that I bought from Mark Goodwin Pianos. It is a beautiful piano and in excellent condition. The service I received was really great. I wasn't able to go to the showroom, so I was sent videos of all of the pianos, and the 100 day trial gave me confidence that if it wasn't right for me I would be able to return it. The piano was delivered really quickly and professionally. I was able to arrange for it to be tuned and MGP paid the tuner directly. Thanks for a great service and a wonderful instrument!

I was recommended Mark Goodwin Pianos by our piano tuner (who probably despaired having to tune our old piano). Despite living in Kent and not being able to visit the Oldham showroom, Julie and Mark gave me sound advice and absolute confidence to buy a 1981 U3. I was impressed with every part of the order process and delivery. The U3 sounds fantastic and still looks in remarkable shape. Don't be put off by the age, these pianos are excellent value for money.

I have never bought a piano fromMark and Julie but feel like I should have done, will do, or maybe already did in a past life... as I thoroughly enjoy reading all their quirky and positive emails and also watching all the family videos they produce to promote the business! I am a pianist and teacher and definitely regularly send any of my piano students who might be looking for a piano, off to look at Mark and Julie's site. It's very clear that they do a thorough job and really care and know about the pianos and the customers in equal measure. Hope to meet you both one day!

Just wanted to say how pleased we are with the piano! It looks stunning and sounds amazing, can’t believe it’s from 1983!
The piano was delivered to my father who recently moved to a care home. Playing the piano has been a huge part of his life for 82 years and now he has dementia I was worried how he would play since he hasn’t had access to a piano for 5 months.
Well I was blown away when he started to play Chopin’s Nocturne perfectly. He is able to read music perfectly even though he doesn't remember what he did yesterday. The other residents are enjoying the music and reminding them of times gone by bringing one lady to tears as she remembered singing in choirs in her youth. So it was an emotional day and he has been playing every day since and I can already see a difference to his sharpness / focus in phone conversations.
So huge thanks to you and Mark, this piano has given my father a new lease of life! It will completely change his everyday and no doubt for the other residents who are living there as well.

Oliver in the Oldham showroom itself was there for any questions I had and was very helpful and Mark/Julie were exceptional in walking me through the painless buying process.

I asked Mark for some advice on pianos after enjoying seeing his regular posts on Facebook. I'm not in a position to be able to buy a piano yet but he promptly sent me a link to an article he has written on what to look for at a range of budgets. With this, not am I only dreaming about my next piano, but also what I'll be looking for after that! Really useful for anybody, especially on what not to waste money on. I’ve recently bought a Yamaha U3 and am thrilled with it! The whole experience from my initial enquiry through to delivery of the piano was excellent. I visited the showroom twice and was given lots of advice from Oliver. He was really knowledgeable and helpful without ever being pushy. I was given lots of time to try them out and Oliver also offered to play a few for me to help with making my decision. Once I’d placed an order the process ran really smoothly - excellent communication (including a lovely hand-written letter from Mark’s daughter!) a faultless delivery process - and the piano itself is amazing. I couldn’t be happier 😀

Such a brilliant place. Endless time and no hassle whilst I tried the MANY pianos. Oliver was knowledgable but didn’t ran information down my throat. I was given all the space and time I needed. The process was so simple and Julie was fabulous at sorting the paperwork etc afterwards. Can not recommend highly enough.

I bought my Yamaha Piano from this company in 2010 and have been delighted with it ever since. I recently asked if Mark knew how I could obtain sheet music clips for the music ledge and they immediately sent me a pair of Katz Klips free of charge and these are just right for me. I am so unused to such brilliant service I’m still a bit stunned! Ten years on and still supporting their customers. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them!

I recently purchased a Yamaha SU131 piano from MGP. I had visited them a couple of years before, when I had a very good customer experience of being looked after - and left alone to try in my own time without any pressure. At the time I wasn't ready to buy. The right time came recenty, and at the same time as this particular model became available. I took advantage of their extended try it at home and money back if not happy, without going into the showroom to see it. I was a bit nervous about this, and worried I was rash, but Julie was most reassuring in immediately saying that though they would take my old piano away, it would be kept for the trial period and brought back if I didn't want to keep the new one. After just a few weeks with the new piano, I am absolutely delighted with it - its set-up and condition are excellent. The delivery service was also first class. The whole experience was exemplorary. I would unreservedly recommend them to anyone thinking about starting or upgrading an instrument.

I can not recommend Mark Goodwin pianos enough. We received amazing service and aftercare for our piano from Mark. It’s incredibly rare to get such personal service these days not only did Mark offer advice about the piano but has been there every step of the way from delivery to tuning. We won’t go anywhere else.
