Mark Goodwin Pianos Reviews 

I purchased a Yamaha U3 from Mark Goodwin Pianos. I was able to make an appointment to view all the pianos in the showroom and was allowed to stay as long as I wanted to try them all and find the one I liked best. Delivery was easy to arrange even with my very difficult availability, and two weeks later the piano was in my Manchester Apartment ! So pleased. Would definitely recommend anyone looking for a good quality piano at great prices to check this place out.

I spent several months looking at pianos online, deciding what to buy. Julie was very helpful via email and didn't pressure me at all. She sent me various recommendations with videos so I could see each individual piano in action. I was hesitant to buy something so expensive without trying it on person but decided to take the risk and it paid off - I love my piano!

I bought a Yamaha U3 piano after checking out the website then ringing the shop to speak to Julie. She emailed me plenty of additional pictures and a full description of all reconditioning work done. The piano was delivered with good notice, it's brilliant and exactly as described. I'm really pleased and felt that the whole transaction was conducted in a friendly and professional manner. Thoroughly recommended.

I dealt with Julie from the Oldham Branch and because I had a bad experience with a local high street dealer, I was very reluctant at first but the positive reviews gave me a little more confidence with Mark Goodwin Pianos. Julie was fantastic from the start, no pressure into buying, listening to each piano clip with me, just giving candid advice after asking me our requirements and most importantly of all, offered me security and confidence. She said I could return the piano to her for a full refund, if I didn't like it even after a few weeks of trial. That gave me comfort in believing that Mark Goodwin Pianos are fully confident with their products and does not seem like just trying to throw pianos at people just for business.

Surely enough, the piano was delivered in mint condition - the delivery people (although most likely their contracting courier) were extremely professional and helpful. My daughter loved the piano and the sounds were perfect. I immediately knew I had made the right decision. Even post purchase, Julie emailed me to ask how everything is etc... Follow up is great. No questioning, I will not be returning the piano as it is the perfect piece for my daughter. The price for the piano was extremely reasonable compared to many other companies I checked with and their service is just the best. I love them so much and will recommend them to everybody without hesitation. And this is a real review written by a genuine mom :) Thank you Julie and Mark!

I am so grateful to Julie and Chris who made the process of choosing my new piano totally stress free and enjoyable. I would highly recommend them to anyone...they are total professionals!! I now have a lovely Yamaha U1 piano which I can't stop playing!!! Very happy :-)

We were given as much time as we needed to try out different pianos. The payment and booking process was simple and delivery was convenient. Our experience with Mark Goodwin piano’s New Malden was excellent.
We never felt under any pressure and we had plenty of time to play all the pianos. Annie is very knowledgeable and willing to help if required. We found Annie and Mark very pleasant and professional to deal with and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

I honestly can't recommend Mark Goodwin Pianos enough! We weren't really sure what sort of piano we wanted, having never bought one before but when we went to visit their showroom, Annie kindly showed us all the different options and even played each so we could hear how they are each unique. Their service was fantastic and they delivered our piano safely and swiftly. I'd highly recommend them!

I called Mark Goodwin Pianos and they were very flexible, allowing me a visit at very short notice. The showroom staff were very knowledgeable, and then let my son take his time to play every single piano there again and again until he chose one.

The piano delivery was bang on time, and the guys did a great job moving it into position then cleaning and polishing it. They even spent 30 minutes cleaning a small grease stain on the carpet.

My son loves playing it. We bought a U3 and it has a wonderful tone. I thoroughly recommend Mark Goodwin pianos.

The two gentleman that delivered the piano were very professional and treated the piano as if it were their own and managed to get it through a tight and fairly awkward route, which was intriguing to watch.

Couldn't get the family off of the piano last night, daughter, son and even my partner who rekindled her interest after recalling some forgotten knowledge from her early piano lessons from when a child.

Even a neighbour who saw it being delivered popped in later and had a go - might not let him in too much he was really good. He thought be piano was excellent and sounded great.

All I need to do now is fulfil my promise to myself and daughter and jointly learn how to play the piano with her, which I am really looking forward to doing and hopefully one day could play a piece of music that would do this piano justice.

I wanted to buy a decent piano, but not pay full whack for a new Yamaha. I went online, found a nice secondhand one for 60% of new price. It was delivered in 3 days and effectively looks and sounds brand new. I even got interest free finance. I honestly have rarely had as positive a retail experience.

I had a Yamaha U3 from Mark Goodwin and from beginning to end it was a fabulous experience - very easy. From the first contact I received information about pianos that settled, for me, that I wanted a U3. Then I went to the showroom in Manchester and played the pianos - and chose one that I wanted. They opened the showroom specifically for me and my daughter to try the pianos. The piano was delivered and the delivery service was exemplary - they helped me to put the piano in place by moving some furniture for me and the piano looks great. They took away the old piano. The U3 is a joy to play and my piano tuner was very impressed with it - and it takes a lot to impress him

This was my second experience of dealing with Mark Goodwin pianos. Annie was very helpful and there was a good selection of pianos in the London showroom. It was a very easy process from purchase to delivery and I am very pleased with my piano. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mark Goodwin pianos to anyone.

Highly recommend Mark Goodwin Pianos. We went to the New Malden showroom and Annie played all the pianos for us beautifully, we then played the pianos and chose one which we then went home to consider. There was absolutely no pressure to buy, and we have since been very happy with our purchase - it is a beautiful piano that we will have in the family for many years to come.

I had been looking for a Yamaha U3 for coming up to two years. After searching and searching, I just kept going back to Mark Goodwin because I couldn't find anyone else who was as knowledgeable and could explain what to look for in a piano without making it complicated. Although the piano is 40 years old, it looks new and sounds great. Delivery was quick and the delivery guys took great care. The free tuning after six weeks was also done by a very experienced independent tuner and his opinion on the U3 is that they're "wonderful". All in all a good experience, and if there are any problems I would feel confident in going back to Mark.
