I bought a Yamaha U3 Piano from Mark Goodwin because I asked around and most of my friends who bought pianos used them at some stage. Really good service and no regret. I would highly recommend.

We spent a lot of time being shown a wide selection of pianos at the Manchester showroom. Laura was very knowledgeable and happy to explain the differences between the models and demonstrate the finer points. Delivery was arranged at a convenient time, and the delivery company obviously know a lot about how to care for a piano in transit.

We then received a follow up email to ensure we were happy with the piano and to check that we were happy.

Great advice, articles and guides to look at beforehand, then a nice relaxed showroom visit where you can have a professional play all the pianos, do it yourself, or a bit of both. I went to the London showroom, and the team made an effort to ensure my visit was timed to fit with stock that would match my interests. It was a pleasant, no pressure experience and I tried out lots of pianos and was allowed to just take my time (and I did, I couldn't decide between two for ages at the end!). We've very happy with the piano we subsequently bought and delivery etc went very smoothly.

Flawless service and advice that was hugely helpful for a novice wanting to buy a good piano. Website and phone service ahead of ordering were both excellent, meaning that I could buy with confidence. Piano delivered in excellent order and fully met website description and video. Delivery by two knowledgeable, careful and pleasant gentlemen whose experience shone through when it came to navigating entrance steps and positioning the piano, as well as kindly assembling the very nice and free piano stool provided.

I bought a U3 in January 2016 from the New Malden showroom. It's now got pride of place in my house and we are very happy with it. We just had the free tuning done and the quality of the piano is obvious.
It also looks amazing - spotless inside and out.
The process of buying was really easy - we made an appointment (which took a while because of limited days, but meant we got a timeslot all to ourselves), turned up at the showroom (which was in a strange place, but was really comfortable and nice inside), played a lot of pianos, chose one and it was delivered three days later. Amazingly efficient process!
Personally I was first drawn to the company because of the support they give to a charity in India, but I looked into things further and found a professional piano retailer that seems very trustworthy and sells a high quality product. Highly recommended.

From beginning to end this company has been a pleasure to deal with. I made an initial enquiry about the sort of piano I was looking for and they sent lots of really helpful guides to help me choose. Visiting the showroom was great - Julie was on hand to give advice but also left me alone to try all the pianos - no pressure at all.

The delivery was incredibly efficient and the communication was superb. Their after sales care is also fantastic - I don't think I have ever dealt with a company that has better customer care. Superb throughout.

Having nearly given up on my 6-month mission to find a well-priced and well-presented grand piano, I happened upon the Mark Goodwin Pianos website and got in touch. Even though I got in touch on a Sunday evening, the staff made special arrangements for me to view the London showroom the next day - a bank holiday!

What I found were instruments of the highest order. Though I concentrated on the selection of available grand pianos, all the pianos across the whole showroom were immaculately presented and well set up, with staff on-hand to confidently answer any question I had. Mark (and Julie!) were very easy to work with, and worked tirelessly to make sure that my chosen piano (a Yamaha C3) would arrive to me quickly and with no issues. This included Mark shipping the piano to me via his Manchester showroom to have two dings polished out, and my own favoured piano technician to completely even out the brightness across the keyboard once the piano after it had arrived at my home - both options offered to me and paid for by Mark so as to ensure the piano arrived to me perfectly. Beyond this, they offered me a very competitive price in part exchange for upright piano, and arranged its collection.

To say that Mark Goodwin Pianos would bend over backwards to make sure their customers are happy would be an understatement. Having worked in retail before, I cannot fault Mark's commitment to this customers and their care. I will be wholeheartedly recommending him to all my students and audiences for the foreseeable future. Thanks Mark!

Fantastic experience purchasing my piano from Mark Goodwin.They booked me in for an appointment at very short notice which was really helpful and gave me a lot of time and advice into selecting the right piano for me. They were also very flexible in coming up with a plan for getting the piano into my flat on the fourth floor which was much appreciated. It's now in the flat and sounds great and I'm really very happy with it.

We were looking for a Yamaha piano and went to a few places in the North West, and also had an offer of a piano from a family member. Having been impressed with the information available from Marks website, we were hopeful of what we would find, and it certainly lived up to expectations. Far better pianos than anywhere else, with great staff. A treat all round and we bought a U3 which we are extremely happy with.

I didn't have the time or inclination to shop for pianos, so I was delighted to find a company that promised to make the whole process so easy. And they certainly did. Buying online based on nothing more than a video of the piano being played meant that I was putting a huge amount of faith in Mark and the team, but it was totally founded. I recently purchased a Yamaha G2 Grand after visiting Mark's Oldham showroom. As well as an incredible selection of U1 and U3 Uprights, I was very surprised at the number of Grand's on display, 10+ Pianos as I recall.
I had looked at some Pianos online and I was blown away by the quality of the Pianos on display at MGP, I actually had to look at serial numbers to believe that some of these pianos were not new.
I was lucky enough to take advantage of Mark's Summer Sale, but to be honest the kind of package on offer here will beat anything you're likely to find anywhere else (short of Carlsberg going into Piano sales)

I was able to compare a number of Pianos before making my selection, this wasn't in any way rushed and the team at MGP will bend over backwards to accommodate you.
In short I ended up with an amazing Piano that looks and sounds fantastic, in fact it's hard convincing the people who've seen it that it isn't a brand new 2015 Piano.
Delivery was a breeze and the only hitch was that I was out of milk for the brew's.
I paid a modest premium for some steps that were involved but the guys who delivered the beast were spot on and made easy work of it.
If you are in the market for a new Piano then you really need to look here.

I recently purchased a stunning Yamaha U3 (X model) from Mark Goodwin's which has just had its 1st tuning. Having only ever owned digital Yamaha pianos this was my 1st acoustic one and the best I have had. When I 1st went to the showroom I was unsure what I wanted but after 2 visits and a few hours trying out the many different tones I found my new one. The team at Mark Goodwin's are very friendly, will answer all your questions, give you quick replies and allow you to take your time without forcing a sale.
The whole process was very quick, easy and stress free. Both the piano movers and tuner are exceptional as was the whole customer experience. My piano still looks brand new and the quality is outstanding.
