We went in at recommendation of another store. We knew fairly closely what we wanted. Then came a very uncomfortable haggle for the shop to try to get what other quoted prices were and for what our budget was. Their bug sell was they'd have a ring ready in less than an hour. If I'm buying something worth several thousands that will be a treasure forever, I don't want the bitter memory of a hard sell, and I don't want to think it was made in a hurry. Great if you fancy a haggle, but you won't beat a professional haggle.

Our experience at Marlows has been first class. Not just the shop itself but the lady who took us through our journey - from engagement ring to wedding rings - her name is Sara and is absolutely incredible - a real credit to the shop. She made us want to return due to the outstanding care and attention she gave us. She has such an eye for detail, really taking the time to know what we wanted and she is just a great person to connect with - making the whole experience personal. The rings are incredible, sized perfectly and we were really taken care of at every stage of the process.

I can not recommend Marlows enough - I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Came back 3 years later and the service just keeps getting better. The options available are phenomenal. The knowledge and honesty of the staff is fantastic. I visited 20/06 to buy an engagement ring. I was greeted at the door, interested in my visit and shown to Allison, who listened, gave expert advice, and led us through each consideration and option. She was also very personable and kept us smiling and laughing through the whole visit. Allison and the store were patient and considerate, informative and helpful, even holding our ring choices for an hour as we stepped out for lunch and to deliberate. We were given a good discount, final total and what steps were going to be taken with the ring for preparation very clearly, and was modified ready in an hour of purchase.
