Lost paperwork caused delay
For this particular encounter I turned to Mediamarkt for a washing machine purchase. We made it clear that we are in a hurry to get a new machine since our current one broke. We got an estimate delivery date of 1 to 2 weeks. We got no calls week 1, 2 or 3 following the order. My wife visited the store at the end of week 3 only to be told to go home and wait further. Only upon contacting the head office on week 4 we got a responce confirming that the paperwork got lost in the system and we got our order 5 weeks after original order was placed.
