Really poor quality clothes

Really poor quality clothes. £45 for a dress and 3 buttons fell off after wearing it twice. Luckily I got 25% off but still expensive. Customer service even worse, no one actually cared. Will avoid at all costs in future.

Hopeless

Impossible to make a return to this company. Everything on the website is designed to ensure that you do not return any items. Making contact with them (I live in the Netherlands) is hopeless. Never experienced anything like this before in my 20 years on the net.

I ordered 2 items

I ordered 2 items, the second one was instead of paying delivery charge. Got a confirmation email stating that both items had been ordered.
The dearest item came and 3 weeks later I was left wondering where the second item was. Had to ring them.
All comes all they have none of the second item in stock and they have not charged me for it but put delivery charge on instead.
When I look further the confirmation email is over charged and they have still charged me for more than what it would be for the delivered item and delivery.
When I saw this I rang back which was a Saturday, earlier afternoon, they agreed to a refund of delivery charge which still isn't enough but they could not authorise the refund as there was no manager there.
Isn't this against regulations, no managerial staff to run a business so large? Realising that they have charged me full price for an item that was on sale £15 cheaper but then kindly used my 20% discount for first order. THIS IS OUT OF ORDER ARCADIA GROUP!!

Refund of delivery charge

I purchased a dress online and paid standard delivery charge. I returned the item in person to my local store as it did not fit me. I asked about the refund of the delivery charge, the store assistant said only items returned through the post would get the delivery back (this is incorrect). I checked their online terms and conditions and this is now mentioned. I emailed Miss Selfridge customer service and quoted Consumer Contracts Regulation 2014 in which I am entitled to the refund of the standard delivery charge I had an email back today stating 'we do not refund the delivery charge unless it is a late delivery'. (This is also incorrect.) Miss Selfridge staff (both in store and in customer services) are unaware of the legal requirement they work under. I will now seek legal advice and claim this refund back.

Literally the worst company ever

Literally the worst company ever, they frequently do not refund ever item in a return package then when you enquire they lie to you that maybe it went to a different warehouse to be processed and make you wait 28 days before they’ll even look at resolving this. They’re utter scum and customer service is non existent. Really do not use, they’ve done this to me before and I knew it was a mistake to bother with them again. Their products are gross anyway..bad quality so you’ll need to return them, then go through the hassle of trying to get your money back.

they have a horrible customer service- not helpful at all- would give 0 if I could- the manager refused to speak to me - i am loosing money and getting stressed calling them

they have a horrible customer service. I wanted to speak to the manager and they said that the manager is not going to give me a call back as this is not their problem- terrible customer service and very disappointed that the manager she refused to speak with me. The person on the phone raised his voice and he was very irritated that i even called- will not ever buy things online as they are not helpful at all even when it is their fault. They have delivered to a wrong address and on top of that i have stated that i need my items in the next few days as leaving in holiday- stated that is not their problem and said that i have to wait and they will decide later on- Guys, the customer service is so horrible and i have spend around £50 for 3 pairs of shorts and now I am at loss due to them and they even refuse to speak to me

Excellent customer service, thank you Vanessa.

I would like to give all of these five stars to Vanessa, for her brilliant customer service, help and support throughout my shopping with miss Selfridge.
It's not all the time that you find people passionate about what they are doing and when we do meet characters such as Vanessa (I think she quite young, but still understands the communication in the relation with the client) it's a pleasure to shop and why not express the aftertaste of the shopping experience.

Absolutely terrible, would give 0 stars if I could

Wish I could give 0 stars. I ordered 1 item 3 weeks ago and was told it would be available for collection after 3 - 7 days.

2 weeks later I had still not received any update on my order and I rang up to ask where it was only to be told it had been sent to a store that wasn’t even in my country.

Now 3 weeks later I had still not received any update so I again rang only to be told that the previous customer advisor was wrong and no record of it being sent to London was found.

I was told it was received in the Belfast store yet I had received no notification of this. Funnily enough 10 minutes later the notification was sent through (probably initiated by the customer service advisor to save face.

Absolutely shocking service, I don’t even want the product anymore.

I am so angry with the customer service…

I am so angry with the customer service of Miss Selfridge! They just deny their mistakes and ignore my request of cancellation! I booked three items from them, all discounted. During payment process two of them turned to their full prices. I contact their customer service and send them my screenshots as evidence and ask for a cancellation of my order and guess what? They just came up with nonlogical excuses and still sent out the items. The worst experience ever!

Didn’t receive full refund

Returned 2 items on my order and only received refund for one, the most expensive one didn’t get refunded for! When contacting customer service they asked for proof of postage even though they already received my order with the other item! After providing proof of postage anyway they then advised my refund for that item was processed on the day I contacted them which doesn’t make sense either way!

Quite impressed with customer service…

Quite impressed with customer service today. Okay they had only refunded 2 of the 3 items returned but after one quick call and confirmation details on the postal receipt, refunded instantly.
Much better then most companies when you have a issue.

10/ 10 Customer Service

1/10 for getting it wrong initially.

Terrible online shoping experience!!!

The new order system together with Topshop’s system is not user friendly at all. They removed the Save For Later function, which means every time I want to shop online I have to spend more time to browse all the items listed online.

There’s no seperate page can be opened to view all items in the basket, they are available on the side panle instead. if I want to see the items in the basket, there is no link available….

The previous order system is so much better. It just prove once again that tech developers are not good at human / customer behaviour. the new system completly put me off shopping on the website!!!!

Be careful they give your complete…

Be careful they give your complete refund amount! I returned 5 items and only got refunded 4, when I enquired I had to prove I had posted the package (the package they’d already received!!) and only when I did this would they responded addressing the issue and agreed to give me the rest of my refund. In fairness the issue was resolved however, seems suspicious that it was the most expensive item in the order by far.

If I could give a review of 0 I would. Ordered on black Friday in the sales. Expensive coat had a massive tear in the seam within 5 days. Barely worn it. Rang and asked for a replacement or compensation and was told to email with photos of everything. Sent photos. Nothing. Followed up (2+ times)... still nothing. This is over months. They denied receiving any photos despite sending loads. Gave up but got ANOTHER tear in coat, and found holes in another item from the same order!!!! Finally rang and all they could do was give me a tenner. Couldn't replace. SHOCKING. A fraction of the cost of the original coat. Bonkers. I know lots of people say it but: I am never, ever shopping here again and have told so many people the same thing. Awful quality and customer services. Poor.

Absolutely shocking customer service

Absolutely shocking customer service.
I have been trying to resolve my issue for over a week now and they keep fobbing me off.
I bought a skirt in store, paid for in cash, and had to exchange for a smaller size. They didn't have to smaller size in store so THEY ordered this for my online to be delivered to my home address. However a few days later I received an email to say the skirt was out of stock, even though the website said it was still in stock.
I have been backwards and forwards with them trying to find out how I get my money back and each person I speak to doesn't have a clue what they're talking about.
Terrible customer service, I will not be ordering from them again .
