Can't get through on customer service line. Being automatically disconnected after recording states, that owing to high volumes they are unable to take my call. Calling at various times and on different dates and getting same response. Really poor customer service! Will not be using again!
Refunds and call waiting times
Sent 2 parcels back at the same time and they only refunded one. Happened on 2 occasions. Rang customer service but queue times are ridiculous. On hold for over an hour. Absolutely unacceptable. Will be returning items to the store next time even though it’s not convenient.

I ordered a jumpsuit on 17th May to wear on BH Sunday. On ordering it said collection on Saturday 24th but I was not sent a confirmation email.The money has been taken but I cannot collect it as I have no confirmation text. The garment currently sits in Outfit Swansea who will not give it to me as I cannot prove I ordered it. No one responds to my emails and I have rung everyday but the helpline says I cannot be transferred due to high call volumes. No surprise as everyone must be complaining!!! What a joke. My bank say I have to wait 2 weeks before I can then raise a dispute as Not Received, not ideal but it's not really their fault. I will never buy off them again and I am going to contact Watchdog as this is not an experience you would expect from a multi national. Luckily I am in a position whereby I can wait for my money back but there must be plenty who could not.

I tried to log on tonight and been locked out of account I then tried to reset pass word and they sent me a link so when you click it the page can not be found miss Selfridges you are a joke and you have now lost a good customer , I you order from this company be prepered to be messed around they are usless when it comes to customer service.

I ordered a dress on 9th May to collect in my local Topshop on 12th May. I was told via email it would be delayed by one day. Never received a confirmation email to say it had arrived so went into store on 16th May and no one could tell me where my order was.
Since then I have called Miss Selfridge customer service helpline multiple times on different days of the week/weekend and at different times of day but have either had a 20+ minute wait or had my call rejected outright due to high call volumes. This is incredibly frustrating and clearly indicative of inadequate staffing.
When I finally got through I was told my parcel had been delayed at the Warehouse but had been shipped out on the 16th. As of the 27th, despite multiple attempts to reach out for information via phone, email, and Twitter, I have heard nothing more. I have had to chase Miss Selfridge every step of the way and received minimal information, and I am still none the wiser about when/whether I will receive my dress.
Incredibly disappointed and frustrated.
Refund/click and collect
i order items online for Store collection. However they were nearly a week late so i requested a refund. It has nearly been two months now where i am constantly emailing them and getting no response. They don't seem to know what is happening. Anytime i ring their phone number, there is a wait time of around 30 minutes. Its the worse customer service i have ever received. Nobody can even give me a direct link to make a complaint. As i said ridiculous service and i wouldn't recommend them.
AVOID Miss Selfridge like the plague

* Chased via email - no response
* Chased via phone - 2 calls on hold for 25 minutes plus and no answer!
* Chased via twitter - no response
* Chased via Facebook - a short message asking for postcode and email and ended with a laughing face emoji (professional?!)
* Chased via Instagram - no response
Still waiting for refund.
AVOID this shame of a company.

Avoid purchasing anything from this completely incompetent company
The store didn't have the boots I wanted in my size, therefore the assistant suggested ordering them - she did this for me, and payment had to be made upfront. My order was expected for collection in 7 working days (this was a long delivery time, but just in time for my special event). The day delivery expected, received email saying would be one day late as they were late leaving warehouse. Next day I go to collect, but not there. Store assistant tries to locate, and is told they were list in transit!! Unable to locate! This you can imagine was bad enough, but there was far worse to come, after I was told couldn't reorder, had to cancel, and assistant requested the refund for me. I was told 3-5 working days for this. 10 working days later, still no refund. I ring customer service, only to be told the refund request had to be put through again, but that was the only thing they could do! ... couldn't tell me how long that request would take to be actioned at all ... no timescale whatsoever, I was just expected to say ok, and wait indefinitely!! When I said this was not acceptable, and wanted someone to action it asap and contact me the next day, I was told this was not possible. I asked to speak with a manager and again was told this was not possible! I asked for HO number, and told this was not possible! I finally told her I was going to take my case to the press and consumer ombudsmen, and eventually she told me she would request a manager ring me by 9pm the next day (a Fri ... due to go out at 6pm, I requested it by then which was still in excess of 24hrs, but guess what, she couldn't do that!) I await that call and my money; the money they have stolen from me.
THIS COMPANY HAS ONE OF THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES I'VE EVER EXPERIENCED. THEY ARE THIEVES, LIARS, AND COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT.

Customer service is appalling!! Ordered an item online to be collected in store and got a dispatch confirmation but no confirmation to say it arrived in store. After 2 days I went to store and was told it didn’t arrive and to come back next week. No apology, no remorse from the online customer services. Will not be taking my business there again!!!

Just received an order for two items both for £10 each in their sale. A pink jumper and a grey jumper dress. Both fantastic quality and for £20 total (£26 with delivery) I couldn’t be happier.
Love their feminine style. No problems. Would recommend.
Bad Quality Terrible Outlet Store at Talbot Green
Bad Quality Miss Selfridge Clothing & Very Poor Customer Care. I bought a pink Miss Selfridge jumper (on sale) from the Talbot Green Outlet store. The item had already bobbled on the sleeve. I returned the jumper to store but the manager would not exchange as she said this is the nature of the item (I certainly would not waste money on a poor quality item). I asked the manager to escalate complaint she went off to make a phone and returned stating I need to send photos of the inferior garment to their head office. Oh I also tried calling customer services (45 min wait time, amazing she got through so fast!!). I will not shop at Outlet (or Miss Selfridge) again but stay with more respected shops with good customer care. I have emailed Arcadia Chief executive (ian.grabiner @arcadiagroup.co.uk) directly with my complaint.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service! I placed an order on Friday and paid for delivery to be sent by Monday. When my package arrived, it had clearly been opened and brown taped back up. 2 out of 3 of my items were missing. I promptly called up customer service and was told that there was nothing that they can do to help me. I was advised that they will have to contact the courier, Hermes, to find out more about my missing items and would get back in touch within 48 hours. The customer service agent very helpfully suggested that I should place another order if I wanted my items that badly! I did not hear back from anyone, not even an email to recognise that my items have gone missing, for over a week. I sent another email to follow up and received an automated email to say that I will get a reply back within 48 hours, due to the busy period. It has now been nearly a week and there's still no response. Honestly one of the worst customer service experience that I've ever had! I've been shopping at Miss Selfridge for years and can honestly say that this has put me off from shopping there in the future, especially to place an online order! Extremely disappointing and rude!
Dishonest pricing strategies
I wanted to order a dress they had as part of a promotion- 50 dresses for £15. Unfortunately my size (and all other sizes) was out of stock so I was unable to order. Miraculously, the very next day they had a full size range back in stock and for £39! They were not prepared to honour the discount the next day, when all sizes had appeared as if from nowhere.
Do they think their customers are stupid? If they don't want to run deals and offer discounts no one is forcing them to, but to falsely state items are out of stock is dishonest. They clearly had stock they didn't want to sell at a discount. Whilst this is probably legal its created a terrible impression of the brand for me and I won't shop there again.
