I ordered 3 items from Miss Selfridge on April 24, 2 days later on April 26 I received an email saying my package has been dispatched and is on its way to Hong Kong. According to the delivery schedule on the MS website, it will take 8 business days to deliver to Hong Kong. And in my account ordering history, it also says that my order should arrive no later than May 5. It is now May 15, I still have not received my package. I contacted customer service via email and Facebook messenger. The assistance they gave is that they are not able to track my package because it was sent as Standard with the RML tracking number; they urged me to check with my local post office. Without a proper tracking number, how am I suppose to ask my local post office to track? I couldn't believe how insensible the advice is coming from them and they absolutely don't know what they are talking about! Beside, they said they will only assist again if my local post office confirms they do not have the parcel after 8 days have passed. So now I need to wait for 8 more days.
If Miss Selfridge can't even send the package to the right place and are not ready to take any responsibility on lost package; then simply don't offer Standard delivery. I'd rather them charge me to ensure delivery than having me to go through such hassles. Really shame on them!
Don't try and cancel your order, you can't!
I was ordering a present for someone, and then out that my someone else had got the same present maybe an hour after I had ordered the item. I can't afford to wait until the item arrived and then send it back, so I was looking to cancel the order as I haven't been sent the email saying that my item is on it's way, and when I search how to cancel an order, it only comes up with returns. I clicked the link in the email they sent that should take you to a page where you can cancel your order, but I keep on getting redirected to a page that says that there are 'technical difficulties so would I like to look at their instagram feed'. Absolutely awful web service and I won't be using it again.

I would give this company 0 stars if it was possible. I ordered a coat from Miss Selfridge in February and when It arrived it was the wrong coat. I had to call customer services which took 20 minutes to get through to. They told me to send the coat back and I had to get proof of postage as I live in Sweden. They said this would be refunded as long as I had a tracking number. I tried to contact them but none of the email addresses would work so I had to call them yet again and another long wait. When I eventually got through to them I explained that the email addresses didn't work but I explained that I was going to England in a few weeks and could send it from there which I did and got my refund. However, the coat was in the sale again so I ordered it hoping it would be the correct coat this time. I ordered it on the 21st March and it arrived the following week but yet again it was the wrong coat. Yet again I called up customer services and they apologized and said that the wrong image was on the website and that's why I was receiving the wrong coat. They told me yet again to send the coat back and pay for the postage and this would be refunded. I told the Miss Selfridge representative that both the email addresses they had given me didn't work. She told me to call back when I sent it back and tell her the tracking number and the company I used. I did this and spoke to a different representative who told me that I couldn't receive a refund even though it was their fault without a photo of the proof of postage. When I told him this was impossible because the email addresses didn't work he then said I'll send you an email and see if it works on our end and yes I did receive his email but I tried to explain that it was obviously a fault on their end as I was receiving theirs. He disagreed and told me to wait until he spoke to his manager. He said the manager has told me that there was nothing they can do as it's their policy. I asked to speak to the manager and yet again I had a long wait to speak to her. She told me she knew nothing about IT but in her opinion it was my fault that the email didn't work and refused to give me a refund but they offered me 10% off my next order. I WILL NEVER SHOP FROM MISS SELFRIDGE EVER AGAIN AND I WOULD ADVISE OTHERS NOT TO EITHER. Absolutely disgusting customer care. I've spent £25 to send the coat back and it has cost me money to phone them. I'm so disgusted by their lack of care. It was obviously their fault and not mine that the wrong coat was sent and yet I'm out of pocket by £25 due to their error.
Worst online experience I've EVER had.
My partner wanted some jeans from Miss Selfridge, ordered and selected nominated day delivery- Monday. Monday comes and goes, so does Tuesday, Wednesday- no jeans. Ring them (no other way to contact them whatsoever!), you have to ring and be placed on hold for 20 minutes, finally speak to somebody, who says they appear to be lost and another pair will be dispatched. This was somewhat strange, as the size was showing out of stock on the website at this point which I queried but was told they are in fact in stock. New jeans arrive next day- COMPLETELY wrong pair (different colour, style, name) but with the same item code on the bag as the correct item. We had to make a specific journey into town where Miss Selfridge trades, miles away from us, as we didn't dare to return them by post after all that. Had to spend half an hour in the shop as sales assistants were having a struggle with the refund and had to ring customer services themselves...Outrageously bad and out of order service. And using fittingly bad courier- Yodel.
ZERO STARS WOULD BE MORE APPROPRIATE!
I returned some dresses just after Christmas. It is now end of Feb and they still haven't refunded me the £150 they owe me. My account details state that the dresses have been received.
They are impossible to contact. Whenever you phone you get a recorded message stating they have a very high volume of calls and are unable to take your call, you are then cut off. If you email customer services you receive an automated reply stating they will contact you within 48 hours. I have still not been contacted!!! I will continue to keep ringing/emailing/posting negative reviews until I get my money back!
But take my advice, don't even order from them in the first place!
Don't seem to know how to deliver packages.
I've ordered from miss selfridge recently, never to receive my package. The order history stated that my package should arrive no later than the 9th of Feb so I emailed yesterday, the 16th to find out what the story was. They replied to say that my order had been returned to they're warehouse and they didn't know why, only that I enquired about it I probably never would have heard from them. They also never gave me the option of resending my items. This has happened to me before with this company and, as it seems from other reviews, plenty of other customers. How can this happen so many people with no explanation? And if you were busy enough to forget about it, they take your money and say nothing?

13th Feb, order still not received. Spent 15 mins trying to get through to their "customer service" department. They confirmed it hadn't been deliver, didn't know why, so would put a call through to the delivery company and contact me within 24-48 hours.
16th Feb, heard nothing! Another 10 mins calling them, to be told the order had been lost. They offered to reorder or refund. Went for the refund, won't be ordering anything from them again! First and last time I'll use them.

DISGUSTED, considering it is a chain store and I trusted them before, I have emailed on 1st jan 2017, regarding my november 2016 jeans, only half has been refunded. The amount that was refunded was not even the price of one pair of jeans, so why this figure came up, i have no idea.
I emailed and trusted this company to get back to me and give me back my money, then i forgot in my busy life and they never replied back! ive sent another email and will be calling customer services and reporting this to the police for theft. Nothing was delivered - twice.
I ordered online on the 30th of December and was sent an email saying that my items would arrive no later then the 15th of Jan. After reading the reviews from other people’s experiences on delays with their items, I wanted to make sure that I was doing everything I could to stay on top of this. The package did not arrive.
I sent an email to customer services asking for a tracking number, who replied 5 days later. I was told that because this is an international order (to Australia) and standard, it cannot be tracked. Weather or other factors can cause delays, and to also check with my post office. If nothing is delivered by the 30th of Jan, customer services will investigate further.
I think it’s really silly that they choose to wait before contacting their courier after a customer has notified them of not receiving a parcel on time because the longer you wait, the harder it can be to track and rectify. This could explain why other people have lost their deliveries. I have asked my post office but without a tracking number, you won’t get much assistance. I don’t think it’s fair for me to ask my post office anyway because if an attempted delivery had been made, the courier should leave a note in the letterbox.
I remember now, that 2 years ago I ordered from Miss Selfridge and there were similar circumstances. I didn’t receive my order, and asked if they can resend the items instead of a refund. They said this wasn’t an option and refunded me the amount within 2 weeks.
I think if they want to continue being a successful business they need to rethink their courier choice, or have some kind of quality control to check that the right address is being printed on the parcels. I hope they won’t be too difficult to deal with when I have to contact them again for a follow-up. It’s a shame as I really like their clothes but due to these issues and their less then diligent response, I won’t order from them again. If you are going to order from them, order just a few items to test how their shipping plays out, definitely one month in advance and have a backup outfit.
Asos and Dorothy Perkins are much more reliable.

Bought an item online on the 13 January and it still has not been sent they have no online contact apart from a phone number. going have to get refund and will never shop again, if would of give zero stars if could, disguising company should AVOID at all cost!!!
Awful customer service - if you can even get into contact with them
Ordered from Miss Selfridge, and the order was tracked as delivered on the hermes website, but I had not recieved it. Waited 20 minutes to get through to them on the phone as this is the only way to contact them. I was then told it had been delivered as if this were a fact, but they would contact hermes who would speak to the driver and be in touch within 48 hours. 2 days later I am unable to get through on the only phone number provided, hermes will only speak to me through miss selfridge and all attempts through twitter have been rudely ignored. Looking at the other reviews I don't expect a resolution any time soon. Will not be shopping here again.
Absolutely horrendous customer service and communication
Genuinely never had an experience like this before. I ordered a dress on the 6th December - 3 weeks later it still had not arrived. I emailed customer service to find out what was happening who then informed me (nearly a week later by the way) that my order had been cancelled as the items I ordered were not actually in stock. Not only was I just then informed of this, but it was put in such a way that it made it appear as if someone had already told me this information. I replied telling them that I found it to be appalling customer service to which I then had another reply from Miss Selfridge apologising and offering me 10% off my next order. Now this is were it gets worse. A few days after this I then received an email thanking me for my order, saying that it (the one placed on 06.12.16) was dispatched (this was now after Christmas). To my (non) surprise, a week or so later and nothing had showed up (the money had also already been taken from my account). Now in the last few days I've received an email from them saying that my parcel has essentially been 'lost in transit' and that they had to cancel (for the 2nd time - awful communication between staff) my order. They also said a full refund will be issued, which obviously hasn't happened as of yet. Absolutely f*cking ridiculous. I've never had a problem up until now and I'll never shop there again after this hassle - I'll also be warning any and every one not to shop there too.

Went into shop girl used their system to order me a £50 jacket for my daughter for Christmas paid there and then and was told I would get an email to confirm then one to say when it was in store 3 weeks later numerous 20 minuite phone calls on hold and trips back to the shop only to be given another contact number with the same thing can't get speaking to anyone don't know where the parcel is can't track it and minus £50 what a merry Christmas gift for my daughter.... your customer service is by far the worst ever !!
Miss Selfridge/ Cannot contact customer service 1star because i cannot give less.
This has got to be the worst company in Great Britain. You cannot contact them by phone as it always has that message about lot of callers...wonder why?. The phone gets disconnected straight after the message. Bought an item and sent it back 1 month ago and still waiting for the refund a truly awful customer service as you cannot even contact them, sent email got the normal reply now waiting for them to get back to me, wont be holding my breath for too long. Mr Philip Green is laughing at us somewhere on his expensive yacht that us fool customers help pay for.
Awful customer service
I bought two dresses on next day delivery for a party. The items turned up 4 days later, customer service could not explain why and offered no discount/refund for the £5 i had paid for next day delivery. I then returned both of these dresses as they had missed the event i had bought them for. It’s now been six weeks and i have received no refund, customer services are appalling, i called after three weeks to ask for my refund and was told i had to wait 4 weeks. I have been trying them incessantly since and cannot get through. The telephone system tells me that due to an unexpected number of calls they cannot take mine and to try again later. I have tried at all different times of the day and receive the same message. I have just gotten through to the call waiting list to be told the waiting time is in excess of 20 mins! I attempted to log a complaint online but ever that system didn't work and the message wouldn't send on their website. I would advise you not to buy anything online from them, its not worth the hassle.
