ordered a mountfield from Amazon, arrived with a broken wheel, the phone lines at Mountfield are constantly busy and nobody comes back to you when you leave a message via their website.

I chose a mountfield lawnmower having owned one previously and been happy with it - but upon opening the box there were no instructions included,ok so instructions are available online, but the item requires some assembly, and it made checking parts a much longer process - I tried ringing the helpline, and it was just impossible to get an answer- , I eventually gave up waiting. I also noticed that there was not any oil included with the mower , my previous mountfield the oil was included- so then I had to find a source of oil . Also just to make things worse a few days after my purchase the mower was discounted!- yay- will my next mower be a mountfield? I very much doubt it.

Great product, powerful and battery lasts

Clear communication from Mountfield. Local stockist was helpful and exactly on time. Mower does what it says, including the safety elements. Will await the cost of a service in due course but at this stage I have got exactly what I paid for.

I regret buying a Mountfield Lawn mower do not risk it learn from my experience.

After less then 6 times mowing the self drive packs up I am still waiting for a response from customer services at Mountfield. So much their values on the website and I am so disappointed in the SP55 for such a fundamental feature to fail so early on in its lifecycle .
The blade has now sheared off

What a shambles of a company followed up with phone calls . Given incorrect information the list of warranty dealers was out of date I initially tried three: one out of business. one doesn't deal with Stiga and one no longer does warranty work . Finally found a dealer dropped of my lawnmower but will have to see if he can fix it under warranty as he says the technical support has deteriorated to such a poor level in a year. My product wasn't registered on the Stiga dealer website as being covered by warranty, despite it stating on my account it was registered . Looking at the recent reviews this decline of Mountfield has been recent and appears to be gathering pace . Crappy product and Crappy Customer Service DO NOT BUY

Delivery was excellent, Montgomery Elite is a fantastic piece of kit, hopefully will be using it for many years to come . Starts first pull of the cord every time, and very good on fuel.

I had an awful experience with this company. My mower arrived broken - the box was open, the wheel axel was broken, the parts for attaching the handle were missing. I had an initial quick response from customer services to acknowledge that it needed replacing but from there on in the communication was absolutely appalling. I ordered the mower on 7th May when my old mower died and was not repairable and after a ridiculous amount of chasing and time wasting and having no responses to my emails and the phone line always being engaged, I eventually had the damaged mower collected on 20th May and finally received a replacement on 26th May. There is no way I would buy direct from this company again. The mower itself is fabulous but the customer service was appalling. I have herniated discs in my neck hence ordering a mulching mower when my old mulching mower died but by the time it arrived the grass had grown so much that I had to use the collecter and now have a huge volume of grass clippings to deal with (so far 12 x 60litres and I've not finished yet) and have really aggravated my neck transporting all of those to a giant inconvenient pile which is going to turn into a gross slimy mess. What was particularly stupid was that the replacement was sent via the same courier company who damaged the first one and delivered by a tiny man on his own despite the parcel clearly stating that it was 36kg and required assisted delivery. That was not good for my neck either because I had to help him lift it out of the van and carry it when my neurosurgeon has told me not to lift anything heavy. Absolutely ridiculous situation.

The company did as they promised,they kept in touch,and drlivered ahead of time.

delivery lied by DHL who claimed they had attempted delivery which was a complete lie, I have CCTV and was in all day.

The product, a Mountfield 1530H ride-on mower is superb. Easy to use, brilliantly manoeuverable, just the right width for my gates and track, cuts grass perfectly and efficiently, tows trailer and sweeper etc easily.
Delivery service however was not so helpful: not surprised because I have experience of the local Andover dealer. It arrived with no warning one morning, they hadn't been in touch, I had no idea it was coming that morning. Fortunately I was in. The briefing was slap-dash, unclear and in some cases misleading. For example he told me if you take the grass collector off the engine won't run, then left before I'd worked out what questions to ask. He also said good luck trying to phone, we often don't answer. Spent several hours online trying to find out how to overide the cutout switch in order to tow a trailer. Didn't get any response from Cust Serv. Eventually worked out it only cuts out if you try to cut grass.
I'll be taking it to a Mountfield dealer further afield for servicing to maintain the 5 year warranty..

Purchased a battery mower in June 25. Seemed fine until March 26 when the charger wouldn’t work. Numerous calls to Stiga and visits to their agent but still no charger after nearly 10 weeks. Customer services are very poor. They promise to call you back but never do. Very disappointed

Mower works fine but the design of the flimsy grass box is appalling. As soon as you move forwards it falls off the back and comes apart. I cannot mow my lawn with it on. Why is the grass box not a solid plastic one like all other manufacturers? I expected better from Mountfield!

Received a lawnmower that was damaged on delivery. I contacted them through their website. Then sent an email a week later - I still have heard nothing. No contact from customer services despite now two emails sent and one website query regarding my managed equipment.
