Hard to describe how bad they are. We described what we needed to move. They said it sounded like 15m3. I said it was probably more and they should have a look. They refused. The movers showed up over three hours late. Took only 15m3. We ended up having to hire other movers to take the remaining 10m3. Everything the movers from move24 took ended up severely damaged and/or broken.

Good evening

Here is the full extent of the poor experience. We didn't complain due to the cheap cost and the only positive...nothing was completely smashed.

1) No boxes were delivered, he rang to check and said "that's usual for Move24." Now, this is either correct or a scam between the two of you to extort more money with extra bills.
2) There were no wardrobe cartons, clothes were thrown into boxes.
3) They did not check cupboards and sideboards and did not pack all goods, despite being allowed access to the house for the whole of the previous day.
4) When we unpacked, we discovered items were thrown into boxes randomly and boxes were not properly taped.
5) One van turned up, which was agreed to, as there were supposed to be two trips. He didn't want to do this and got very stroppy about it towards the end of the loading process.
6) He insisted we pack our own cars full of bags and boxes that should have been packed.
7) Despite me asking not to, he piled boxes on a fragile sideboard so as to complete only one trip. One leg was already weak, but is now broken and they had to tape it with packing tape.
8) He left our belongings behind our old house, as he didn't want to come back! My partner had to return for a third car full to fetch them!
9) He left pieces of wood from our furniture behind so our wardrobe does not shut.
10) He complained about the flat being on the top floor with no lift, then admitted he did not read the papers he had been sent prior to the move.
11) His assistant was clearly too inexperienced to be the only other man in the job and could not understand his instructions.
12) I had to carry the smaller items from the van to help them finish (from the very start, after emptying my own car) as they could not cope with the job between them. They did not leave until 9pm.
I am sure when my partner returns home, I will add to the list.
Under no circumstances will I be paying the bill for your lack of organisation.
I will be contacting trading standards in the morning.
I note from reviews that you are keen to threaten legal action; this will not be acceptable.

They cancelled the agreement within 24 hrs as the moving company pulled out. Fair enough but it is now December 19th and they still have not repaid my deposit

I found Move24 by chance as I needed to move some heavy items from the UK to Germany, where I live and a removal company was the most practicable way of doing this. The customer service team at Move24 was excellent right from the start and gave me a great deal of helpful advice. They were also very flexible. On the day of the move, the team arrived early and got on with the job swiftly. They completed the task in 4 hours and I was delighted as I had an evening flight back to Germany, so it was important that everything was finished by a certain time. The goods were delivered on the day stated and the employees were friendly and polite, and also very hard-working. I can recommend this company highly and they are also very good value for money.

They come up with a good quote, you pay after the move, then a month later get another £500 + bill as they 'had to use a shuttle van due to poor access'. We moved from NW England to Dordogne France. Our France home is detached with a large driveway and an accessible church car park next door with accessible gate to the side! The hire of the van was €79 and my husband drove them there and back to pick it up after much discussion about accessibility as we could just not get our head around why it wasn't.

We were moving an expensive piano, we paid extra for piano cover, never happened, piano fell off the shuttle van nearly killing one of the movers and smashed to the ground, they managed to put together on the end, but it is very damaged to the back. The movers were very shook up about it, we felt bad for them so didn't report, we are nice people who didn't want to create a fuss. Be warned Move 24 will add on extras after they have locked you in and due to loopholes there is nothing you can do but pay. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

5.55pm they ring to say they can't do our move tomorrow. Never dealt with such unprofessional idiots in my life, if I don't get my deposit back immediately my solicitor will be informed Don't get involved with this company, its better to do it yourselves, they are not to be trusted. Left us no time to get a replacement company at such short notice

I can't believe that I fell for this company. I will surely have to cancel my move and lose 1.000 euros (1/3rd of the cost of the move). Their telephone assistance useless. The young woman who answers questions has no information and is relying on the local movers contracted to actually complete the move. If they are unable to provide the information I need for arranging permission to occupy the street with the moving truck I will be responsible for breaking the contract and I will lose my deposit. I also will not be able to get out of my house on time and this will cost me huge amounts of money. READ THE FINE PRINT IN THE CONTRACT! You are responsible for everything and they don't care anything about your move. They only want your money.

Initial service was good. However, as they did not visit our old house, we relied on their questions to estimate volume to be moved. As a result the initial quote fell well below the actual contents. This did not become clear until the move day, which resulted in stress (the job was under resourced) and excessive extra charges. After sales service was very poor.

I would strongly advice using a company who visit the house prior to the move to ensure an accurate quote and avoid unnecessary stress and costs.

They provided great service. Their customer service before the move was very good and they responded well to changes. They were very competitively priced, not much more than 50% of other quotes. On the day they were slightly late, and further delayed by traffic. The moving team were efficient, polite and effective. I would use them again for sure.

I checked a few international movers and obtained a number of quotes, money being tight, I opted for the lowest, Move24, I did wonder how the low price would be reflected in the service but as it turned out Move24 made the whole process easy, stress free and to be honest I cannot think of a single issue with the experience that could have been improved upon. In particular I want to single out the actual physical move which was carried out by friendly, careful and extremely hard working guys. They moved me from Devon to Rural South of France and not one item was damaged, even though I had quite a number of delicate breakable items. I was frankly stressed, thinking about the process but I need not have been as everybody I spoke to at Move24 was helpful, friendly and courteous in the extreme. Truthfully, I have never come across such amiable efficiency in any company that I have dealt with before. Well done Move24, I only wish more organisations were run like yours is.

Avoid like the plague. Quite possibly the worst moving experience possible. Unprofessional, incompetent, and unreliable. Cause an immense amount of undue stress and it is truly a miracle we received our belongings at the end.

Had a very nice seller on the phone and I got a fairly reasonable price also for a move from Germany to Spain.

Now. 3 workdays before the move I get a mail from Move24, that they have given me too big a discount, and they want 20% more!

I already paid the down payment.
The house is packed in boxes. the flight tickets are booked and paid.
New people is moving in so we have no option to stay, so either we pay or find a new transport company. in 3 days!!

All smiles on the phone and super nice but they basically sent a man and a van outfit on the day with no boxes, no tape or wrapping paper when I'd paid for this as part of the service. The 2 guys who turned up got things moved but when breakages occured Move 24 have not responded to validated and substantiated claims - just threatened legal action if I didn't pay them. Atrocious customer service.

DO NOT USE THEM! Rather get quotes and speak to moving companies directly.
Our experience with them has been really really bad. Started when on the moving day, a 5 person in a smaller then required truck, arrived at our place. And at first place they were demanding that i pay more for the move because in their document the cubic meters mentioned is wrong. While the whole time during Move24's quotation is in Square meters.

On a move day, with a family in hand, of course you are pressured to pay to get things done. But even then, they did the job in a rush and not clean, not complete.

Move24 does not want to take any ownership in this matter, and it seems like they are aware of this practice of their vendors pretty much forcing vulnerable customers on a move day to take money extra from them.

Biggest learning, google moving companies directly and go with them! AVOID MOVE24!!!

I called up Move24 very close to the date I was due to move. They were so helpful and the process was really easy. They took my details and a list of all the items that i wanted moved. The removal guys turned up on the date of our move at a time that we requested and it was all done quickly and went really smoothly. Great service.

It was a complicated move with strict time constraints and quite vague details and they still managed to make the move stress free. The quote was very reasonable and the customer service on the phone was some of the best I've ever had. They kept in regular contact and made sure everything went smoothly.

Excellent service from the Sales Agent all the way to the Delivery Drivers. You have provided from the start a very professional and reliable service. I was very concerned as I had not dealt with you before, these concerns were quickly eliminated by your sales agent Rhys, all that and I may add that you supplied the most economical quotation out of the four companies I asked for a price. !!!

The movers worked very hard and packed all our stuff the day before. Moving on the day was a breeze as they dismantled, packed and unpacked everything.
