The lawyer didn’t understand my situation, ended the call suddenly, and promised to call me back — even though she knew it was time-sensitive. She never called, and I never received the services I was seeking. If she couldn’t help me, she should have said so. Instead, when I asked Neolegal for a refund, they offered only a credit and then stopped responding when I said that wasn’t acceptable. Failing to follow up on a time-sensitive matter and abandoning a client without a remedy is fundamentally unjust. The only reasonable solution in this case is a refund.

My experience with Neolegal has been one of the worst of my life. I would never recommend this firm or any of their lawyers to anyone. I paid over $2,000 for assistance with my divorce, and to this day, I am still not divorced.

The lawyer and the manager provided no meaningful help throughout the process. My file was incomplete and missing several required documents, which resulted in the judge rejecting my case. Despite this, Neolegal made no effort to correct their mistakes or properly follow up with me.

I received no updates, no support, and no attempt to resolve or fix the situation. Instead, they are now trying to close my file without offering any form of compensation or accountability for their negligence.

I am now left to handle my divorce process entirely on my own, after paying for a service that failed me completely. This experience has caused me significant stress and frustration.

I strongly advise anyone considering Neolegal to stay away. Do not trust this company with your legal matters — they will take your money and leave you to deal with the lawyer

Me. Elliott and Neolegal team are unbelievable, They are incredibly dedicated to their clients, friendly and genuinely nice. something that’s quite rare in legal environments to be honest. The unprecedented level of service quality this place provides is exceptional on every aspect of it.

They are slow, expensive and unprofessional

I paid $215 for a legal consultation, expecting it to be conducted via video, but later discovered it would be over the phone. The lawyer called about 10 minutes late, and the background noise was so loud that I could barely understand what she was saying. I had to ask her to repeat herself several times.

The consultation ended after just 30 minutes, even though I was under the impression it would last at least 60 minutes. The lawyer mentioned that I could send follow-up questions by email via Neolegal, and I agreed, given how difficult it was to hear her during the call.

However, when I later sent my questions by email, I was told that my consultation was over and that I should look for another lawyer. This was surprising, especially since the original agreement stated that the consultation fee would be waived if I decided to proceed with the trial package.

Miloud was very kind, knowledgeable and responded to my questions in a clear and easy way.

I would give zero stars if I could! They are very quick to take your money but offer no service in return ! We received a 10 minute phone call from a person (lawyer???) telling us that he would take care of our file and would get back to us by the weeks end. Crickets! He gave us no advice over the phone and never got back to us. We paid over 2,000 for absolutely nothing! I have been trying to get a refund for the past 2 weeks but have received zero response from this company. Please do yourself a big favor and avoid NeoLegal !!!!!

Nice phone meeting with a really good lawyer, he know how to guide you or how to put some brightness onto things unclear. Really good appointement ! I recommend !

Not worth your money.....you wonder who s side their on.....they help you till the end and then let you down at the end.....expected more for what you pay.....save your money......cut our lose.....do not trust the legal system.....

Neolegal was unprofessional and they use push tactics to get you to sign up with your credit card right away. They then forced us to use a awful web portal with a crappy user interface to communicate. The service was incredibly slow and I paid 2k five months ago and still have yet to recieve my legal documents. I would not recommend using this service.

Paid 1400 dollars on a friday the 14th. Was told I'd get a call from a lawyer on Monday 17th. Didn't receive it. I called all week to figure out what's going on. I call them on the 21st again. The lady finally sends me a link to book an appointment. The next aavailable slot is the 31st. I told them I want a refund and they keep looping and saying I won't get a full refund. Nobody has done anything but process my card. And everyone I talk to cant do anything but talk to someone else about it. I also told them I don't want to communicate through their portal and they still msg me thru there. The last message I got was saying they can give me credits instead of a refund. I made a complaint to consumer protection. I'd like if anyone has the same issue to do the same

Neolegal continues to not provide a prefund after I paid them over $300 weeks ago for a service that I never obtained from them!

I urge for anyone who also gets scammed by them to complain to the Barreau du Quebec.

sent a email on a friday mentionned it was a rush, no return, on monday called left a message an a email, on tuesday left a message, no return, spoke. finally with the receptionist, who transfer me to service agent, who told me that he will send me a file (witch i already explain an draft letter for the lawyer to review) the file after find would go to a lawyer to review in 3 to 4 days, then someone would call me back and then within a week draft a letter etc etc etc... i asked him to cancel the order he said he will refer to satisfaction departement !!!! satisfaction ???? ....what a waiste of time for 300$ get a entering level lawyer an that is going to do the job faster

I talked to someone on the phone told them I was interested in getting a prenup done. They charged my card the full amount immediately. At 7am the very next morning I texted them telling them I don't want or need their services(which have not been provided yet). So they have spent zero time on my behave on anything. I've sent 3 e-mails all the very next day to no response about a refund, In fact they sent me a appointment time to talk to some lawyer! YOU ARE NOT WANTED YOU HAVEN'T DONE ANYTHING YET JUST GIVE MY MONEY BACK!! I did put a dispute in with my credit card company for their charge as soon as it was posted. UPDATE!!! On the second business day after my card being charged. Someone phoned me and said they would refund all of my money and they did the same day. So for me it all worked out. But I realized I'm not comfortable dealing with legal matters on line must be face to face. So perhaps I overreacted but they do have quit a few 1 star ratings?

They sent me a fake document that has been falsified to suit the needs of the plaintiff. Official reports were not handled under lawful terms and I will be opening a police report against them as of today.

I was introduced by a lady with patience and most-caring attitude by the procedure, the cost, services included, etc. It is a very good communications and trustworthy company. They care your demand and feeling than a business only.
