Always kept account up to scratch and…credit reduction
Always kept account up to scratch and never used full amount...today credit limit reduced as they told me I didn’t need my credit limit so high..what an excuse, so if you are a good payer you get penalised and especially with what’s going on with this pandemic, no thought for customers whatsoever

Mine and my dad’s credit limit been reduced, for no reason! Dad’s from 10k to 1k!!
Mine is from 3.7k to 1.5k. Are you got scared from the virus? People might be desperate to use credit card in the next couple of months. Buying food supplies. Your move is unacceptable. I don’t recommend Opus. Not humanitarian at all.

Waste of time getting this card!!!
Waste of time getting this. Have had for 2 years and have never been offered an increase on my £300 starting limit neither have I been accepted for one when applying to have it raised. This was despite never missing a payment or going over my limit. Wish I had never bothered with it!

Avoid this company
Opus is owned by a huge financial company and they will trample on any customer at the drop of a hat. I never missed a payment and always paid far more than the required monthly amount. Not a single issue. Weeks before Christmas, my credit limit was halved with no specific reason given. If you read through reviews, they do this a lot to good and honest customers. This is not responsible lending, it is manipulation of the market. Companies like this work to damage people's credit rating so they can sell credit at higher interest rates. How they have got away with it for so long is simply bizarre.

Very easy to use and keep good control…
Very easy to use and keep good control of .. you receive a text each time the card is used , so you will know straight away if your card is used and you know nothing about it . Very easy app to follow and understand . Great way to start rebuilding your credit .. after mine was destroyed by my ex husband
I would avoid this lender at all costs
I would avoid this lender at all costs. Not worth the hassle. Had I realised it was part of the NEW DAY ltd group I would have avoided it as they were a nightmare when we had them with a debenahams card aswell. I cannot wait to close this card this month . we have had it less than six months and It's the worst thing we did.
They suggest extra payments but your account is in red as you only pay the contractual amount and stay in credit you get constant calls and bombarding with messages to pay your extra amount (which they state is just to help you ... ) the single most annoying credit card company I have ever used. ! AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!!!!

Absolutey awful credit lender would not recommend to my worst enemy. Forget to pay by one second and you get endless threatening calls followed by a 12 quid charge. Paid via the app once which fails quite often then thinking id paid still got endless calls and still got charged. Avoid this lender. Terrible

AVOID!!
Didn’t want to give 1 star but had to so I could leave a review..
Been treated unfairly and disgusted with how this company handle things. I’ve always paid my interest and kept in my limit. And ended up paying the whole amount off. I then used my card twice just to pay bills and then opus decided to block my card- with no notice! After I messaged them saying I can’t use my card they gave me a number to ring to speak about this issue. When I dialled the number it was a number for fraud! I’ve never done any fraud with my card! Didn’t know paying your bills was fraud, I only use it to pay my bills in emergencies!! After I spoke to a staff member I was told it was due to my credit scoring they blocked my card, and had the cheek to say I can’t use my card but once I’ve paid the full balance they will close my account down. Won’t be getting another payment from me until this is sorted. It was your decision to give me a credit card. Wouldn’t mind but I always paid my balance off and any interest that I owed. Avoid this company! Seems like I’m not the only one who they have done this too. They will charge you a lot of interest, then block your card without warning. Making money off people to rip them off. I’ve got an Aqua credit card and when I told them what opus had done to me, they said their the worst company to get a card from, they’ve never heard anything like it and I shouldn’t of gone near them. Like I said no more payments from me Opus!

I informed them I would pay £1000 off…
I informed them I would pay £1000 off my card at the end of the month.
Then I was bombarded by phone calls every day for 4 weeks. Sick to the back teeth of their incompetence.
1 day after I paid the £1000 they send me a text and reduce my resit card limit so it’s with £300 of the balance without any notice.
So basically OPUS just pushed me into going over the balance so they can charge me for it.
There was no issue until OPUS did this.......
Absolute crooks.......reduced the limit by £750 and then hit me with interest/charges to take it back with £180 of the limit......so they put me into a deliberate cascade of charges.
Shower of S_IT......
Don’t touch this company even if it’s your last chance they’ll take you to the cleaners.
Customer Service is crap.......
