Absolute shambles
For the past 8 weeks, we have been sending support tickets to resolve the OVH server issues. It has cost us a huge amount to investigate and try to solve server crashes, usually occurring on a weekend. In the end it was proven to be OVH's fault - they performed various maintenance activities on our servers, causing them to constantly crash over 8 weeks. They are hopeless at IT support and the case is 8 weeks in without any resolution nor refund, nor confirmation of refund. Absolutely terrible support. They are an EU business but it's impossible to talk to reps in the EU, as they have segmented support to India for Australians. All we get in calls is sales reps who have no understanding of OVH's failures, no impact on refunds and no understanding of how to solve the actual OVH failures. Avoid this hosting provider and use Google or Amazon.
Absolutely terrible service
Absolutely terrible service
We have been trying for over 3 weeks now to get a resolution for a bug in their vRACK service preventing VLAN traffic to flow correctly.
Honestly cannot recommend for anything production related as their support does not give a shit about helping you.
DONT WASTE UR MONEY …
DONT WASTE UR MONEY ABSOLUTELY SHIT SERVICES YOU HAVE TO TRY 10 TIME TO GET ACCESS TO VPS VERY VERY SLOW AND SUPPORT TEAM IS SHIT TOO
OVH has been a pain in the ass for a…
OVH has been a pain in the ass for a long time. If you are using their service for development stuff go ahead. Anything production forget it! I've been constantly suspended for no reason and had thousands of dollars in revenue lost due to outages caused by them. AWS / GCP sounds expensive but with the redundancy they have and 24/7 support I'd highly suggest it. OVH support is only available 8 hours a day because they cheap out with phone support. Their tickets normally take days to get a response too.
Anti-Hack will kill your VPS if you use the available bandwidth
The VPS servers that they offer are a good deal for the price, but ONLY if you don't actually decide to use them properly. We are renting a few VPS servers from them for WebRTC audio / video traffic and once you use the actual advertised bandwidth of 1 Gbps for a while, your server can and will get shut down out of nowhere by their overzealous "Anti-Hack" system, which flags legitimate traffic as supposedly malicious. Their support is useless, claiming that they can't do anything to adjust this "Anti-Hack" and after a few server takedowns by it, they will outright suspend your server, leaving you unable to even access it anymore.
I suspect that they are doing this to force their customers into paying for the more expensive dedicated servers, which cost more than 3 times what the VPS cost, while only offering the same bandwidth.
EOSphere Australia
We've been using OVH for about 5 years in Australia, Canada and Singapore.
The actual infrastructure has been very reliable with maybe a handful of brief outages over the years.
Dealing with the support desk can be a bit tedious, however what makes the difference for us is our Super Star account manager Darren Tan.
Darren ensures we get the best support, best bundled pricing and access to the latest technology .
Shocking service from OVH Australia
I decided to switch to OVHCloud VPS on the basis that they could allow 2 networked sessions on the Hypervisor to reduce database latency. So I subscribed, but tech support in France very quickly told me it could not be done. They apologised, cancelled the service and said they would process a full refund.
Except that a month later, I still had not received my refund. I then called Customer Support in Australia. No record of the conversation, the account was only deleted after the end of the month, so no refund.
No attempt to read the tech logs, voice recording etc. Just No Refund.
Their final "proposed solution" - saying sorry, but no refund!
Really just shocking customer service. My advice, hound the tech guy to send you a notice the cancellation notice and email you the promise of a full refund. Or you can kiss your refund goodbye!

OVHCloud Startup Program
OVHCloud Startup Program
We recently joined the very generous OVHCloud startup program. The team has extensive experience with AWS and GCP. In my opinion OVHCloud has a very solid service offering with their public cloud platform. With competitive pricing and a no-frills service that avoid the complication of its rivals. If you are easily overwhelmed with AWS and Azure and GCP's ever-changing offerings, redundant services, and confusing naming, you will find a simple, easy-to-understand and capable service available at OVHCloud. Our team had no problem getting up and running quickly and starting to run some serious computation in no time. We also found the UX well-designed and very logical. Well done to the OVHCloud engineering team. It will be remiss of me not to mention the great and timely support from the startup team in particular the APAC rep Satyam.
No human in sight to talk to, among other issues
I'm going to enumerate facts instead of going the emotional winger style ("worst site", "never ever", etc)
Product used: I decided to try a VPS from them, only one month, just to see if I decided to use them for longer.
Problem #1: The process of activating a new VPS was slow and buggy, the process in itself took a considerable time, more than 10 minutes with an unresponsive web page; my credit card was charged twice (granted, two "pending" transactions, but still with the uncertainty of these two charges being eventually successful). I tried to reach to someone to discuss those two charges using the following methods:
-- Phone number in their web page: no success (it appears that that phone number is even "disconnected") yes, I called during standard working hours (Brisbane, AU time)
-- Using the "chatbot" it sort of timed out and never got anything useful out of it.
-- Using the support email address (which I took from an email I received from them advising that I had opted out of the "automatic renewal"): no one never answered my request to have a look at those two CC charges
... which takes me to:
Problem #2: No actual human in reach: you are on your own. I'm not talking about tech support to help me setup my VPS, but just someone to clarify for me that double charge to my CC. Up to date I'm not even sure if there is a human on the other side (I presume so given that they answer complains on Trustpilot, probably I need to raise support tickets on this site to get their attention)
Problem #3: The dashboard is slow. By "slow" I mean it takes not less than 10 seconds to refresh every time I click on a menu option, which makes me think their infrastructure is at the very limit of their capacity
Problem #4: Buggy distros; I chose "Debian 12" for my VPS, which comes buggy by default. I had to "fix" the apt config, otherwise updating/installing packages just wouldn't work.
In conclusion: I suspect they are short of people and physical resources (servers, routers, bandwidth, etc) I'm not going to use them for now; probably I would give it a go again in one year or two... if they are still around...
Reliable cloud provider
I have been using OVH's public cloud service for over a year now, and I have been very impressed with its performance and reliability. All my instances have encountered zero downtime so far, and I have never had any major issues.
The public cloud service is also very easy to use, and the documentation is excellent. I was able to get started quickly and easily, even though I am not a cloud expert.
The support from OVH has also been excellent. I have had a few questions over the past year, and the support team has always been responsive and helpful. I would like to specifically mention Chirag and Satyam for their outstanding support.
Overall, I am extremely happy with OVH's public cloud service. It is a great value for the price, and I would highly recommend it to any business looking for a reliable and easy-to-use cloud platform.
Took my credit card details and denied me service
Took my credit card details and denied me service. They promised $270 in free credit to try their product, they had me lock in my payment info then denied me service.

We have been working with the Team from last few months and the Team is really working hard with greater and professional service delivery. I would really appreciate Chirag Chugani from the OVHcloud team who is putting a lot of effort into the quality service. He has been instrumental in the growth of OVHcloud and us.
Great Infrastructure & Personalized Support
We have been using OVH for the past 6 years and have been very satisfied with their service. Servers have an insanely high uptime, interventions are done timely and automatically, and the personal custom support by Chirag was great!
The Asia Pacific branch of OVHcloud are likely going to sink OVHcloud
The Asia Pacific branch of OVHcloud are highly likely going to be the cause of the downfall/collapse of OVHcloud.
Abysmal customer service, in-ability to manage the workload, deceptive and dismissive business practices, business management that does not continue a trusting rapport with clientele, service staff that couldn't really give a rat's about the customer/client and give rubbish stock standard replies (just watch any reply given here it will be generic, in-sincere and of no real substance).
Seriously atrocious management of the whole Asia Pacific branch of OVHcloud ... they will end up sinking this company.
We were potentially going to on-board up to 2500 VPS instances (around $1.5M in revenue per year for OVHcloud and as few as 500 so approx $300K per year) yet they couldn't be bothered to keep a rapport with us, could not be contacted except via support staff that really do not care at all and just reply with crap stock standard responses and sound so miserable you could almost feel their lack of enthusiasm for life working for OVHcloud. They sounded soulless and down trodden.
Worst experience I've ever encountered!!!
EDIT: (Note to OVHcloud Australia)
You can contact me also with the details for the still existing account for Micro Automators Pty Ltd.
Outside of that I will not post any personal details.
I have NO interest in any solution you provide the damage was done. IONOS have gained our business and anyone reading this I urge to go with IONOS. 24/7 support that are responsive and continue to follow up with you and help you through issues even for those where it's you mis-read or couldn't find how to achieve something. You can call them as well, sometimes a 10 minute wait but you always get through to someone that is knowledgable and resolves your issue. They then have an excellent follow up plan and a dedicated account handler.
Also their prices are better than OVHcloud as well.
OVHcloud you cannot offer anything to us that will make us bring the business back to you. Again the damage has already been done.
OVHcloud Australia talk to Harry Keong in Singapore with regards to Sofco Pty Ltd.

Solid service, great price.
Been using OVH for about 3 months on the value plan with no downtime or service interruptions. Pricing is very good compared to other local offerings. No experience with support system however not needing support with 3 months of usage is pretty good in itself. Only complaint is website is very slow compared to other VPS providers.
--EDIT IN RESPONSE TO OVH--
Referring to the control panel, for example going into overview of a vps can take 10-20 seconds to load.

Poor Service trying to bill me for a IP address when i no longer have any services with them
Very annoyed and pissed off with OVH AU
I cancelled all 3 boxes and i had to manually remove each IP i had and i did that as requested by support staff, then i get a invoice: AU109505
Telling me they want to charge me AUD $9.90 for one IPV4 that for services i no longer have just cause it's in my account when i already removed all the IP's from account, not my fault your service doesn't work correctly when trying to cancel services
I sent a ticket requesting they cancel the invoice cause i refuse to pay for an IP i no longer use anymore apart of the service and today i get told they can't do that and i must pay for one IP at $9.90 are you bloody kidding me ?
I refuse to pay it, your system is a joke and needs to be fixed, when services are cancelled that's it everything else should go too
Ticket ID: 6802135 and the other ticket: 6721370 where i had issues cancelling each boxes and IP'S
if Rep from OVH want to look and sort it out
i'm not paying that $9.90 for a bloody IP which was a apart of a service i no longer have and was cancelled and yes you can cancel that invoice and don't tell me you can't cause that's lies
Sort your stuff out OVH this is disgusting behaviour
Regards,
Andy
UPDATE | 07-12-2022: issue has been resolved, still i shouldn't have had to jump through many hoops to make this mistake get fixed the way it did, thanks for rep for looking into this and fixing the issue

Appalling Support and slow outbound data from the Canadian servers.
I had been with another hosting company for over 10 years, but they were getting a bit expensive. Dedicated server and a few VPS servers.
I moved to OVH nearly two years ago now.
Support ? There is none. Proved on several occasions.
Even when it is their issue as a downed hardware issue or in my latest instance, for some reason the Plesk renewal hadn't updated. I have been unable to manage sites etc etc for the past Two Days.
No response to my ticket and follow up ticket.
In the end I had to call them and ended up speaking to someone in Singapore. One server is in Canada and two in Australia.
There is No Support or sales office in Australia so don't be fooled.
Bottom line 4 hours after the call still nothing. Totally unacceptable.
Also be aware TTFB is really bad. Can be 6 seconds. Lag time from their Canadian servers is terrible. They are cheap, but not worth it in the long run.
Avoid this mob.

Loyalty given to OVH ..
I'm more than grateful to the sales rep Darren Tan who took my call today and answered all my queries in a polite and professional way, which really impressed me. In fact, having my queries handled in such exceptional ethical manner pushes me to be loyal to OVH as a client, putting their prices as a second thing to think about. Please never go down and keep that high standard up all the time .. many thanks.

The worst support I've ever seen
Currently waiting for 3 weeks now on the delivery of 2 new ordered Scale-3 servers. One of them had a 72 hour delivery time.
Support does not respond if I ask for an update. Only thing they say is: "We made it a priority and waiting on a respond from the datacenter". Does not matter how much you call.
I'm waiting for 16 days now "for an update from the datacenter". Of course this is unacceptable. They just ignore you or hold you on a leash.
There is also no way to speak to a manager or someone in charge. They refuse to transfer my call or provide me an email address.
This is what you get from OVH when you pay for Premium support, have 23 bare metal servers and are a 10+ year customer.
The DDOS protection is the only reason why we still have servers at OVH, but when we find a better solution we will be gone instantly!
PS
I put my review here because OVH does not monitor any other of their trustpilot pages anymore ;) OVH = OVH. Australia or not. Mabe someone will help me then after waiting for 3 weeks. You guys escalated it 100 times already so that's not gonna make a difference.
