We bought their comfort VPS package…
We bought their comfort VPS package from them which works flawlessly, they allow full control over your server unlike a few other providers and you can reinstall / change the OS to another one if something seriously go wrong (though if it happens it's it's normally from bad configuration from the end user) , the server's performance is excellent and it's good that they give us ways to correct errors ourselves which otherwise would require contacting support at other providers.
There are many negative reviews about them from people who complain about them not helping with very basic server setup even though they clearly stated in their TOS that the end-user is responsible for configuring and setting up their server and they are not a babysitting company, which in my viewpoint is good cause I prefer configuring my own servers and never had any issue with their service and we got what is promised from them.
Very Good Customer Service & Servers
We have recently been using OVHCloud for our VPS Server & Dedicated Server. The performance on these Servers have met the expectations and have been performing very well. The customer Service for OVHCloud has been a very great aspect for us with OVHCloud, with quick responses to our support tickets. In particular, Darren has gone above and beyond with his customer service helping & assisting us with any issues we have had, definitely recommend his great work. Overall, we have been happy with OVHCloud and look forward to continuing with our Servers. Thank You.

Dont touch these guys, they informed me they would issue a refund due to my business winding down with COVID and after going through a 2 week process to get the server shut down, they denied the refund and reconnected my server BUT they know we have ceased trading! This is a very bad company without morals, deceitful and dont give a damn about the customer - STAY AWAY!!!!!!

I was not able to access my VPS then i contacted customer service. One Mr Belveder Lai Jun Yang helped me to know the reason. I was not familiar to raise ticket even the interface of OVH cloud but he stayed and taught me with patients. His service is really appreciable. He is really a asset of OVH. Thanks a lot

I had a issue with billing on my account. Was worried that I may lose service despite making payment. Darren from sales went above and beyond his call of duty to help me resolve the issue.
I don’t normally raise alarms or have issues escalated to be resolved quickly. Makes my experience with ovh a positive one.
I wouldn’t hesitate recommending Daren and ovh to a lot of people through word of mouth as a result of this positive experience.

Absolutely abysmal Support
Absolutely abysmal Support. Really so very very bad,
a) Their service purchasing process is buggy, unable to create the correct configuration and their web page menu, which shows the headings but not the actual items below is a joke.
b) We were charged automatically for a service that we did not order. After submitting a request for a credit, which took 4 days to respond to, it took another 2 days to "investigate" and then another 2 days to get our money back.
Then if that wasn't bad enough, we got another invoice and automatic charge to our account just a few days later, for the same screw up they just fixed, !!
So again we had to go through the same process of complaining and waiting - and more waiting.
c) We then had a server problem which was Urgent. No one was available locally, on a Friday, so we made contact with Singapore. While the chap we spoke with was pleasant and helpful, and he communicated with us consistently and "expedited" our service request - 4 days later it was still "unassigned" and still a problem. Absolutely appalling.
d) Their Billing system is a joke. Information "unavailable" is often seem on the screen, and there is little correlation between screen and information. Very amateurish.
If you are in Australia, you can forget and Sales pr Technical support, it just does not exist, even if you want to spend money you can't find anyone to talk to. It's ludicrous.
Bottom line - If you want a service that is on the cheaper side and willing to gamble, try OVH.
If you want any form of Sales support or Technical support, best to look elsewhere.

Been with OVH Australia since late 2018 and have had a really good experience. I run a game server network so we've had more than one dedicated server at a time. We've only ever run one issue which was solved quickly by the support in Canada. A technician was tasked to replace a drive which went far quicker than expected. Their DDoS mitigation for the Game line is really good! We've had many attack attempts since our first dedicated server with no disruption to our network.

OVH Sydney review
Been using OVH in Sydney since their launch. Nothing but a quality network that constantly improving alongside their unrivaled DDoS protection. Disk I/O performance isn't as quick as other Australian hosts but its a decent tradeoff for a quality network.
Best bang for the buck
We're a small telco in Australia and have been dealing with many different IaaS providers in the country. We have to say no one can beat OVH's unmanaged dedicated servers for their exceptional value. Our VoIP cluster has been running solid on OVH platform for more than a year, serving hundreds of concurrent calls without a single hiccup. We would like to especially thank Bharani from OVH who has been looking after us really well with all our requests (he’s kind enough to give us special pricing too!)

Great service and dedicated servers
With 2 dedicated servers running flawlessly for some time now I have found the sales and support of OVH Aus very commendable. The servers have been reliable and fast and the configuration dashboard is easy to use. The service with OVH as a whole has been excellent. I haven't yet had any issues with the billing system that others have mentioned so it seems maybe that issue is now fixed.
I'd recommend OVH - particularly at the price points they offer - and I'll be purchasing a 3rd dedi real soon now.
No support
Their server uptime is about 80%, they don't uphold their own SLA, and their support is non-existent. However, their servers are actually good. If you don't need support then go with them, but make sure you have backups for their random downtimes
