Excellent service

I had a wasp nest in a ground floor cavity wall. I called Pest Professionals at 11:30 yesterday morning, an appointment was given for later that day - 5.45pm. Granted the operative was late - but I was the last appointment of the day and who can guarantee how the jobs have gone during the day, however he turned up just before 7pm and the job was done in a few minutes. I inspected the entrance to the cavity wall this morning (13 hours post treatment) and there was one lonely (now homeless) wasp wandering around not knowing where to lay his hat.

So a big thank you to Pest Professionals for your prompt service. Your work here is done!

Pigeon proof of my solar panels

Pest professionals came this morning to put a case round for my solar panels. Also did next door at the same time. I think the guys names were Colin and Paul. They were brilliant, 10 out of 10 first class service. Arrived on time and were gone by lunchtime. Would highly recommend them.

Contacted Pest Professionals to ask for advice on a wasps nest found above a window and into the brickwork.
Lady that I spoke with was helpful and friendly and arranged a technician to attend the following day.
He too, was polite, friendly and professional and explained the process that he had taken to eliminate the nest.
Can highly recommend Pest Professionals and wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

Quick, helpful, kind and reassuring

I contacted Pest Professionals for a quote after I noticed some wasps/bees gathering under my guttering. Gareth replied within minutes via email and helped me understand the difference between bees and wasps (this was so that he could give the most accurate quote). We established that they were in fact bees. Gareth suggested we leave them as they are very important pollinators and reassured us that they should be gone within two months.
I will be contacting Gareth without hesitation for all of our pest needs in the future - hopefully not too often though!
Thank you for being so kind and helpful.

Absolutely dreadful experience with…

Absolutely dreadful experience with this company. Workmanship is diabolical. The neat finish on the website is for display only, the finished pigeon proofing mesh is tatty, and held on using cable ties and is not cut to the height of the tiles on the roof. Rang company to complain to be told another crew will attend to re-do all of the works only to be met by a rude 'Senior' bird proofing specialist who were only asked to return to perform 'repair' works who then drive off without saying a word when I complained as to why they were called back out.

Not only this, they walked all over the panels on the roof, potentially damaging the thin layer or glass over the panels. Called and complained and was told by an operations manager that their crew are trained NOT to walk on the panels whatsoever. When the second crew arrived, they argued and said this was misleading information and that 'we walk all over the panels all the time mate, not sure who's telling you that'!

Avoid this company.

Mr Luck clearly has it in for us as this is a copy of a review he posted in October 2020 so why he's posting it again in April 2021 excapes us. We are aware that a competitor was sending customers to his review so we will allow people to make their own mind up. However, in the interests of clarity, below is how we replied then and here is a link to our reviews on Trust Pilot: https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/britishbirdcontrol.co.uk (the work was carried out through our bird proofing division British Bird Control not Pest Professionals, so shouldn't even be on here).

Mr Luck’s solar installation is complicated, fitted tight around a dormer window. The work either had to be carried out using very expensive stepped scaffolding up the roof and around the dormer including full edge protection, or using a skilled senior working-at-height team, who could carry out the work with ladder access. We quoted him based on the latter a fraction of what the work would have cost if scaffolding had been erected, and he went ahead with the work at that price. The work was successfully completed and his pigeons evicted and they have moved on. There was an area of the work he didn’t like the aesthetics of, which was the most difficult area access wise, around the dormer. Mr Luck complained to our head of operations about how it looked here, and sent in pictures. On seeing these images, we disagreed with him how it had been finished. We felt (and feel) our team did a very good indeed given the difficulty of access. The work was successful and comes with our ten-guarantee, which he still has. But Mr Luck disagreed and we agreed to send our most senior team to review. We made a mistake at this point. Our new head of operations inadvertently wrote in an email that we would attend and replace the system, when what he meant to say would that we would attend and review it. We hold our hands up here; this was an error on our part, but one that Mr Luck has deliberately leant on in our subsequent discussions with him. Our most senior technician re-attended and (as we had done from Mr Luck’s pictures) concluded that the original team had done a very good job, especially given the difficulty of access. No replacement of the system was either required or justified. At this point Mr Luck and the senior technician were in disagreement. He asked our head of operations to call him and left when the two of them were talking. We subsequently discussed with Mr Luck that since there seemed no way he was going to be happy with what we had done, despite it being fully successful and guaranteed, that we could take down the system and refund him in full. Mr Luck declined this offer, but instead decided to write a one star review on Trust Pilot. We agree that while he may not have had a five star experience, he certainly has not had the worst experience possible (one star). We actually made a significant refund as a sign of good will. Our offer remains in place to re-attend and take the system down and offer a full refund, but Mr Luck does not want this. We feel his review, posted at five past two in the morning, is not equitable. At the time of writing we have 56 reviews on Trust Pilot (now 87) – 54 of them are five star (now 85), one is four star, and Mr Luck’s.

I cannot thank PP enough for their help and honesty. I wish I had encountered them before wasting so much on other pest control companies. I absolutely will be using their services again.

Pigeon problem resolved

We were having problems with pigeons nesting under our solar panels. I contacted British Bird Control who asked me to send photos of the installation. I sent the photos and promptly received a quote over the telephone. I accepted the quote and was given a date for when the work would be carried out. The guys arrived promptly and had the work completed within a couple of hours. Payment was made over the phone. Really first class service. No fuss. No hassle. And most important of all ..... a job well done.

'No guarantees with their treatment'

Pest Professionals charged me £360 for a one-day extermination. This involved spraying the contents of my house with a type of powder, as recommended. Following the treatment, I noticed that the number of pests I could see was growing. I informed Pest Professionals who advised me to keep the powder on all surfaces for two more weeks before calling them back. I followed their advice, keeping what was a dangerous and toxic powder on all surfaces for the recommended period. Two weeks later I called back after seeing an increased number of pests, and after a short discussion, Colin Campbell, their 'Infestation Specialist' proceeded to shout down the phone at me and then put the phone down. I wrote a letter of complaint to which Colin responded with a belittling letter explaining that there are 'no guarantees with their treatment' and that their treatment could 'only get to areas that are accessible to our operatives', a lovely get out clause for doing a rushed job. In all I spent nearly £360 on the treatment and had to live in the property with toxic powder spread around it for a number of weeks... all to find out that they weren't surprised their job wasn't successful. Absolute con of a company.

We have never carried out a treatment for a Jack Quinn so presume you have the wrong company or are posting under a false name. However, if you would like to call into the office to explain we would be happy to discuss further.

Bedbugs!! Book them You will not be disappointed!

Where do I start, so I basically had a bed bug problem & called so many people that came over gave estimates & did a nonsense job. Nonsense as in my 18 month old & I were sleeping in the lounge after being told they did the job & still seeing the bugs partying around.
As soon as Tez came to our house, he literally walked us through the whole process, explained what he was using and even showed us. When he started the job he lifted the beds, cut into the plastic areas, moved sofas, sprayed in cracks and holes! Honestly it’s only been his first visit and I have great confidence I’m sleeping bk in my bed tonight. Not only is he professional but he literally is a pleasure to even be around. Please please choose this company, I am not someone that’s paid to say this & I am a single parent that hoped someone wouldn’t take advantage. Tez has done just that.
Pest professionals are honestly the best company ever!

Solar panel mesh Installation

Installation date 27th January 2020.
From the moment I contacted the company I was impressed with their professionalism and friendliness. Being partially deaf I am always worried when making telephone calls but as soon as I explained this my fears were well and truly “put to bed”. The installation procedure and reasons why they carry out a thorough clearance of the space between the roof tiles and panels was explained clearly. The date and time of the installation had to be confirmed at a later due to checking of their schedule but unlike other companies, as promised, I received an email the following day with further emails keeping me updated. The email correspondence was perfect for me and well appreciated. The day of the installation could not have gone more perfectly with an excellent job carried out. The follow up paperwork was sent on time again as promised. I can now say that I only have 3-4 “die hard” pigeons left on my roof as compared to well over 30 or so prior to the installation.
I have no problem in recommending this company and will certainly do so to the two other houses in my area that have solar panels on their roofs.

Solar Panel Protection

We had a problem with various birds and squirrels getting underneath our solar panels. The mesh protection did work for a year or so, but then we got a very determined squirrel who managed to work its way under. Pest professionals sorted the problem under it's warranty. Matt and Louis did a great job, and were very friendly.

Excellent solar panel protection

I had a dozen pigeons move in under my solar panels, with all the accompanying noise and soiling. Pest Professionals came and cleared the area underneath the panels, and installed tailored mesh around the edges with clips that won't damage the panels. The job took a few hours and the technicians arrived on time and were polite, efficient and tidy. The price was competitive and communications were good. I wish I had had this done before the pigeons arrived! They have now moved on.

I thoroughly recommend this Company.

From the moment I made a online enquiry I was impressed with their professional approach to me as a potential customer. The process of installation was explained in detail and the actual work was carried out in a competent manner.

The two chaps who carried out the installation of protective netting around my solar panels using strong first class material, were affable, courteous and they left the premises in a clean and tidy state.

I shall certainly recommend this Company to others.
