Easy to order
Easy to order. Arrived via DPD on day that was quoted for delivery. Well packaged, no broken stems, roots moist and looking healthy. Planted out the next day. Whether it will grow into a large beautiful fragrant shrub as described...well... call me in 2028!

A model of good service
I was pleased with the good communication having placed my order for a bare root rose, knowing exactly when it would arrive and finding it well packed and very healthy when it did. The advice re planting was also very clear. I would not hesitate to order again from a grower who seems to have a good reputation.

The roses are very good quality
The roses are very good quality. The only issue I had was with the DPD delivery, as DPD tried to deliver to the wrong house and are extremely difficult and frustrating to communicate with.

Exceptional service
Highly impressed with the product quality and service from Peter Beales.
I ordered one bare root rose, Anna Pavlova, during their January sale, and she arrived in exceptional health and with 3 strong basal canes. As someone who has bought from many UK and EU-based growers, I have to say by far this is the best service I've received. The packaging was brilliant and I particularly liked that a planting guide as well as their wonderful catalogue were included. Of course the main priority is plant health, and you can get that elsewhere, but the whole experience with Peter Beales has impressed me so much that I will definitely prioritise buying from them again. Their selection is also great, and the catalogue will make you want to treat yourself to at least one more rose.

Friendly, helpful advice on which rose to buy.
I contacted their customer services for advice about which rose to buy as a birthday present. With so many to choose from in their catalogue I just couldn't decide where to start. I wanted a very fragrant, colourful rose which can be grown in a pot, and which was in stock this time of the year. They were so helpful and gave me a short list of five, any of which would have been suitable for my needs. I chose Fragrant Delight which
is a beautiful orange rose. I liked it so much I also bought one for myself!
