Excellent communication and service
International buyer here(Canada). The reviews on this site gave me pause as Polimil had a number of recent bad reviews. I decided to fire off an email to them to see what the issues were (and knowing sometimes dissatisfied customers have a tendency to over react). My email was responded to in under 24 hours. They not only expertly answered the questions I had about Lowa boots but also about the previous communication issues they were having. I've sent a few emails back and forth regarding my intended purchase and all emails were responded to quite quickly. I went ahead and made a $300 purchase from them and will be doing so again in the future for a second pair. Confident sending my friends and peers to their site as well.
Issues with communication
Ordered items on express delivery. The items have not arrived. No contact from company and the phone lines closed during customer service hours. This is an update.. I did manage to contact customer services after 10 am and a refund was agreed. I received two emails offering an apology and a discount for future orders. The refund was applied within 24 hrs. The site will be updated to give the times when customers can call. This case seems to be one of missed communications.. I didn't receive an email stating that items were out of stock, I couldn't reach the company when I called and an earlier email from me was not responded to. But all the right steps have been taken to correct this now.
Fraudulent conpany
I am surprised credit card companies are still processing transactions for Polmil.co.uk.
Polmil.co.uk simply takes your money, and forgets all about you, emails are left unanswered and a telephone number that runs a recording telling you they are closed.
Avoid at all cost, you have been warned.
My next stop is calling my credit card company to report Polmil.co.uk as an online fraud.
No Communication... must be on the way out... as far I am concerned
Trying to order a pair of Meindl Boots from their website for the past week. Have sent 3 emails via their website and they have yet to reply. Then got number from their website and phoned them.... answer machine stating that the phone line was now closed and to send email via the website. Totally ridiculous... would not take the boots from them if they were giving them away free!!.... well I might!
Poor Customer Service
I placed an order in August they were quick to take my money but have failed to send the goods despite it now being September. They refuse to respond to any attempts to contact them via email when you try and phone them the phone is not answered even within the limited hours they are supposed to operate.
Seems this company doesn't realise you can't silence determined reviewers
I made the mistake of ordering from this company on Amazon. They were OK, but nothing special. So, I rated them 3 out of 5 with the message "no comment".
This company subsequently used the contact number I had given Amazon to facilitate delivery to instead contact me and rant about the "negative" feedback I had given them. When I told them that I don't enter into correspondence about the feedback I leave and asked them not to contact me again, they sent three further, increasingly petulant emails before finally getting the message that further contact was not welcome. I eventually had to contact the ICO to get them to stop contacting me. Their final message to me was "I've spoken to Amazon they have blocked you from ever ordering from us again." They seemed oblivious to the fact that their lack of professionalism to that point had guaranteed that outcome whether they would wish it or not.
This vendor came across as increasingly unbalanced and needy. I would not recommend them to anyone else. If they act this way about merely neutral feedback, I dread to think how unprofessional they would be if a customer were to complain or leave negative feedback.

Polimil has complained about the above review several times, and Trust Pilot has been happy to delete it for their paying customer. They have also deleted negative reviews from several other customers with genuine complaints that received shockingly abusive replies from this company. Meanwhile, obviously fake but positive reviews are left posted.
Decide for yourself what the above means about Polimil and the credibility of 'Trust' Pilot in general. Me? - I'm a software developer. So I can fully-automate the process of re-posting my own review each time it is manually reported by Polimil. Polimil can have a front page full of deleted reviews if they like. That's how the Streisand Effect works. You can't silence people, and only fools try to.
Trust Pilot has proven to me they cannot be trusted with honest reviews. Their ratings for paying customers are a sham. I won't waste my time further, jumping through their entirely-cynical hoops, proving my purchase and experience are real, only to have my review deleted anyway. Such bureaucracy is designed only to make reviewers give up in frustration. Instead, Polimil Ltd can go through those hoops, repeatedly reporting a review that gets automagically-reinstated each time they try to whitewash it. Isn't technology wonderful? :)

Utterly useless. Bought some Medium gloves which were nearer XXXS and tried to exchange them for a different size; forget it. They'll completely ignore you for weeks if not forever!?

Ordered a pair of Oakley sun gigs on July 30th, and never received an email confirmation, waited a few days and phoned customer service (got the number from a website that wasn't polimil, as their website was email only) was told that an email had been sent telling me of a few days delay, the email wasn't sent ( spam also checked) and now 2 weeks on guess what? No sun gigs, no email, no explanation, holding my breath as we speak......

very happy with the site, good range of kit and best price I found online for the boots I ordered for a friend who needed them asap, they did offer free delivery but next day delivery was pretty cheap compared to most sites too

Excellent service from start to finish. As an ex-forces veteran, i wish i had of found out about polimil when i was serving! Cracking bit of kit, swift delivery, good packaging. Will definately use again and so will my friends & family. I am constantly spreading the good news. Polimil has loads of good kit. They will kit out my camping expeds for sure!
Excellent prices,products and service
I had never heard of or used Polimil before but I placed an order for 2 pairs of boots, one of which was delivered within a day or so, the other was temporarily out of stock and to be honest I was getting a little grumpy with the wait.
To make the matter worse the boots that were delivered were the wrong size and had to be sent back to be exchanged.
I vowed never to use Polimil again but an email to Lee changed my opinion entirely.
Lee was more helpful than I had imagined and emailed me every day with updates and personally apologised for the delays. Apparently staffing issues but Lee arranged for my replacement boots to be sent without hesitation and sent the outstanding boots the moment they arrived back in stock.
He included a couple of extra bits which were more than I had imagined but will be put to good use. Thank you
If anyone is having second thoughts about using Polimil then please remove those thoughts and order now!!!

Very fast delivery
Ordered a set of Oakley ballistic glasses Monday night. They arrived on my doorstep Thursday morning. In Denmark. And at a very competitive price even compared to US web prices according to my investigation.
Star No. 5 is for that last bit of perfection.
Apparently government advice suggest I should note I am participating in a prize draw at Polimil.
Faulty boots resolved
I placed an order on a pair of ambellers side zip safety boots and with in a week I noticed the side of the sole started to come away I contacted polimil and with in 2hrs or so they had contacted me so in the end the guys was able to replace my boots with a brand new pair stright from the suppliers the communication was great I was kept updated Defo a company I would be using in the future highly recommend

A batch of individually printed t shirts ordered with the help of Andy, who was extremely helpful and flexible during the design process. The order was then split for a number of delivery locations and sent out by Polimil free of charge. I don't imagine many companies offering that level of service. I have worn and washed my t shirt numerous times and I have no issue with the quality. I'd be happy to use Polimil again.
Terrible customer service - DONT ORDER
Ordered pair of boots on Monday morning with 3-5 working day delivery. Hadn't received the order the following Monday contacted Customer services who told me they had been returned to them for an unknown reason few days before.....but hadn't thought to contact me.
Reassured by manager they would be with me at the latest Wednesday as they were to be sent 24 hour express delivery on Tuesday! Received text on the Wednesday saying they'd be with me on Thursday - tracked order and showed they were only given to DPD on Wednesday afternoon. Which clearly meant they were never going to be with me on Wednesday!
Tried to contact customer services on numerous times on Wednesday just went straight to answerphone - finally spoke to someone from a different department who gave me another number for customer services, which I tried and told they'd finished for the day!!
Requested a manger of any department contact me...promised they would but didn't!
Still no boots and very little contact, they have refused any money off my order only offering 10% discount off future order - won't be ordering again so not worth a lot.
Whilst waiting (I needed them) I ordered same boots for same price from Patrolstore who delivered them the next day as promised!! When these eventually arrive they will be going straight back!!
Don't order from them is my recommendation.
Further to the above review I left at 1715.....I was still waiting for someone to contact me........I had to call them back numerous times finally spoke with Nick (Product Manager)at 1730 (even though I had been promised a call back) he apologised for errors with my order and told me that due to my trust pilot review the boots had been recalled from DPD.
So whilst I was still waiting for contact some one had read my review and contacted DPD to recall package, showed as 1720 on tracking. Another example of very poor service, they couldnt be bothered to email or call back the customer but did read the review and take action.
Nick has offered a free gift to apologise for the errors due to internal restructure....will see what this is and if it has better luck making an appearance. Would have to be very good for me to consider using them again.
I have received free gifts, which did go someway to restoring faith in Polimils customer service, however, I then received an email from Nick requesting I take this review down; because it is not a true reflection of the normal order process. Left a bit of a sour taste as this was my true reflection of the order process and the whole point of Trustpilot.
As you can see from my lengthy post not at all happy will be using patrolstore from now on. I wonder how many bad reviews have been taken down following some free gifts.

Great customer service from Ben. I placed my order at the weekend and I was contacted on Monday to say that the item was out of stock, I was offered an alternate product instead however I was not too concerned with the wait.
Got the item within two days when it was available and it was the cheapest price on the market.
I'd recommend these guys any day and will use them again.
